I have the 20inch uppper in 223wylde. First time out it the rifle shot horribly and was over gassed. I put an adjustable gas block on it, which by the way that gas block was smaller than BCA gas block, which meant handguard didn't toutch gas block when it flexed,. Dang thing loves the Fedeeral 53gr varmint rountds and the 69gr bullets, which I did a 4 shot grouping for each one into a dime. Wow, what a surprise after that gas block upgrade. I mentioned the gas block again so if anyone else has those long handguards with BCA gas block then just check the spacing gas block has between the handguard, could be throwing you off.

Put about 100 rounds through a BCA side charging upper. It ran fine with no malfunctions. For the price it’s hard to beat. One thing I learned regardless of the brand is to go over the screws before you shoot. The handgaurd screws on my upper were looser than I’d want them but had no issues after I tightened them.

I have two rifles both barrels 223 Wylde. I was able harvest my first deer at 95 yards with it and the deer only went 20 yards and dropped. The 20 inch one i have ringed steel at 300+ yards with a primary arms scope 4-14x never had a malfunction or hiccup and I'm 450+ rounds in. The barrels are heavy, and the handguard was a little loose but i QCed them and tightened them and that was the only issue I had.

I bought the same one 2 years ago for $140. Only complaints i have is that the upper came with ALOT of metal shavings around the bcg & like in the vid the hand guard came loose. Blue locktight for that & i just simply cleaned the upper of the shavings. Upper is still going strong.

Good stuff, ive had really good luck with the bear creek uppers i run alot of their side chargers. Think ive only had 1 handguard ever get loose out of about 5 uppers, but i normally do atleast tighten them down really good right from the box. Other then that, they just work man, ive had a few for hunting rifles and turned one into a dedicated truck gun. People can say whst they want but it just performs and honestly for the price kind of a no brainer for keepin shit on a budget that lives in a vehicle in my opinion. Itll never be my hard use rig but for something thats gonna keep a relatively low round count and be used for just incase or recreationally its awesome. Ive had two or three of them in 5.56, a couple in 450 bushmaster and a 50 Beowulf. All have been really accurate and reliable except the 50 when i first got it, it was a gen one side charger when they first came out.

A few years ago I bought a 7.62x39 side charge upper. Handguard came loose. Same attachment. I would not recommend the side charging. I put thread locker on the handguard, It stayed tight, The side charging lever kept falling off. I red thread locked the piss out of it and it is fine now. Get the normal charging style. It is accurate. Tula trash 123 grain groups well.

I have two BCA 350 legend 16 inch uppers(one I bought for my dad). I got them for pig hunting,out of the box sometimes it didn’t cycle well,sent them both back to BCA. They came back in about 2 weeks maybe a little less,work great now. That’s my only experience with the company but I knew I wasn’t buying a $800-1200 upper so expected to have to check screws and such,but anyway BCA stood behind the product and fixed the issue. I’d buy another(I’m looking at a .22mag upper)

I don't believe BCA are as good as Daniel Defense rifles, but I hate how everyone on the internet acts like BCA rifles are trash without even shooting one. It's a real shame. I have like 8 uppers and no problems with any of them. I'll probably replace the bolt with a BCM bolt soon though just for more durability. Also, you should check the barrel nut for looseness with any new gun. 2 MOA doesn't seem too bad for cheap ammo.

I agree... I have nice rifles, and budget stuff. The budget stuff isn't as good as the other. But they shouldn't be, for the price. For the barrel nut. BCA 223/556 uppers work... That said, stay away from their 7.62x39 uppers and check ALL gas blocks, these uppers are not passing quality checks before they leave the factory. Also, they have 30-day return policy, after 30 days your refund will be -15% restocking fee and available only as store credit. Their customer service is very good nevertheless. I have a 16" 5.56 and a 10.5" 223 Wilde, which after trips back for repairs are now functioning OK. Sent my 7.5" 7.62 upper back... Keeps busting pins after 20-30 rounds.

I have ordered more than two or three items from BCA, in the past, and have defended their products online. Just called to check on the status of an order for a single barrel due to the delay in shipping. The sales rep said up to 14 days to even ship a single barrel FedEx. When I asked if it would be cheaper to just cancel my order and go to a store and get a barrel, he agreed. $78.00 barrel, $25.00 shipping. and up to 14 days to even ship. I have defended BCA more than once, but now??? I complained, and they now have canceled the order, The barres is no longer in stock amazing. BCA responded that the barrel had gone out of stock after my order,. Imagine that, Isn't it amazing how it went out of stock immediately after i complained, yet not 30 minutes before complained and not an hour after it was still showing available. Imagine that. Oh, and they have refunded my payment, might receive it within the next week. Now that is great customer service if I ever saw it.

I don’t know why people buy these. Before you waste $200 on this just throw an extra $500 with it and pick up a bcm upper. It’s a common occurrence for people who buy these to have numerous of them so they can “aRm ThE nEiGhBoRs” for the money it takes to do that you could buy one quality rifle that you can depend on. You hear all the time that good optics, good rifles, night vision, etc is to expensive but yet they have spent plenty enough to buy all that on 10 shitty guns
@RTTGunsGear
@RTTGunsGear 4 месяца назад
So you're confused as to why someone would review a product and report their experiences with it? People are going to buy these whether you like it or not. And not everyone can afford a $700 upper or $2000 rifle. So again, people are going to buy these. My job is to make sure people are educated off of actual experience, not just the say so of some troll in a comment section. I don't disagree that a BCM upper is going to be nicer in a number of ways. And while I understand that you think very highly of yourself and your opinion, most people could care less what you think and they will...once again...buy these uppers and uppers like it. If this breaks of has problems as the round count gets higher, so be it. People will know. If it doesn't. People will know that as well. So go on back to your troll Facebook group that has organized all of you to come troll my video, and let them know that they too will get shot down if they show up.
@X_TheInvisibleMan_X
@X_TheInvisibleMan_X 4 месяца назад
@@RTTGunsGear brother you’re not shooting me down. I understand you have a channel that you make reviews and probably make money from it, I’m not knocking that. Yea people are going to buy these and while some it’s all they can afford the majority belong to the “just as gud” crowd of people. We all start somewhere and a damn good bit of us started with cheap guns because we didn’t know any better. I’m not here to troll but rather educate a young first time buyer and buyers building up 10 bear shit rifles. Life is easier if you do research and buy quality the first time around
@RTTGunsGear
@RTTGunsGear 4 месяца назад
@1tylermcmahan Yes, the "just as gud" crowd exists, and they drive me insane. But there's also another crowd that is just as bad. And that's the "if it's not BCM, LMT, LWRC..etc.., your rifle is trash" crowd. 99% of people will never use a $2000 rifle to it's potential. And the vast majority of people would also be served better if they did save up a little and buy something better than BCA, PSA, etc.. Again...people are going to buy these no matter what. And they may as well be educated with real world experience. You say that they need to do their research.. What do you think this video is???? So people can do their damned research because too many people without the hands on experience just keep telling them that these are junk. As for making money, I do...but not from BCA, and way WAY WAY less than I spend to run this channel.

BCA for me was hot garbage 2 uppers and A spare bcg. Both uppers had same issues. 1.hand guards bolts where loose. 2. Gas blocks both loose no picture on on GB bolts and not even handtight. All 3 bcg's had loose gas keys with no sealer or loctite on gas key. Fixed the issues on them sold one and still have one I use for learned how to do pinning gas block and p&w muzzle device, chamber polishing. If anything they are great training aids on how to fix poorly put together uppers. After all BCA employs illegal immigrants what do you expect when you have 3rd world labor Assembling your products.
@RTTGunsGear
@RTTGunsGear 4 месяца назад
That's unfortunate. The loose handguard screws...while they 100% should be tight..isn't an issue for me as long as they're all there. Now if it was an expensive upper, then I would call something like that unacceptable because you're paying for a higher level of quality control. I haven't experienced the gas block issue with BCA. But I have seen PSA uppers and complete rifles come without a gas block or tube all together and missing bolts/screws. As I said in the video. When it comes to budget stuff, expect budget issues. I have a whole video on this very subject as well. My experiences with BCA have been 90% positive with the exception of loose handguards. But we will see what happens with this one as the round count goes higher.
