Great little review. I saw one of these advertised ages about and thought £80 must be crap. But for that price it looks a cracking little investment for someone like me that would probably only use it now and again

Update on my lovely boat , first trip out on my syndicate water six takes and four fish 🐠 up to 27lb brilliant got right under far bank willows with ease totally unfishable without boat , big problem can't see the boat very well at distance have covered in flash iradesant sticky back now see it anywhere also line twist a nightmare after 3/4 trips must use the line bomb to untwist it, wouldn't go fishing without the little rascal now few sniffy remarks from other members but couple of others bought one , as essential as bait

I remember when the nd2 boats first came out and everyone was saying how good they were while the boat was sat on they’re kitchen table everyone thought they were great till a year later and it’s came to light that they’re customer service ain’t worth a wank and the hand sets are as good as useless, I knew everyone was just product testing them so I never got one and I’m glad I didn’t as things need to stand the test of time to see how good they really are, these came out the the same time as the nd2 and these ain’t posted all over social media as sub standard quite the contrary, so do the maths, yes I’m biased I’d only use my rt4 or nothing but none the less these for all intense and purposes do the job as intended and are the best value for money, tight lines

Ive had my slingshot which it been nicknamed lol in 40mph wind n rain went out perfect n back in even the lads with £1000 boats rated my boat it does wat you want it to do for £80 it is mega boat

Does it work in salltwater?

I don't understand how it works for fishing though. Is there a hook and line in the hopper?

Would this work on surf fishing by the shore ? I wonder about problems on rust, strong wave current flipping the boat or moving

I put pasta underneath up panel holds proppellor under water better making it go even faster and when waters choppy it don't miss the proppellor

Just got one from Amazon as they tend to be better if it goes faulty, where as eBay sellers usually wash their hands of it. They are a bit more now, but only £96. I only need something to dump a dead bait and lead for piking, about 200g, so hopefully the hopper won't crack doing this.

I put some catapult elastic under the hopper to stop the violent chuck and where the bolts are i made it into a slope to the bottom of the hopper also added a deeper to the front.... may add some lead to it so the props are submerged.

Does anyone know if you can buy replacement remotes for this and they work without any hassle

Nice review, does this type have GPS? I got one similar but I am not sure about GPS. I couldn't use it because my country does not allow using such remote boat for security issue!!

I bought ot one week ago testing it tomorrow

I got one works well new BUT!! after 6 mouths all the motors etc rusted inside the boat and don't work now

I got 1 of these, very good for the price, easy to control, only thing I found is it could have slightly more weight on back end of boat...my mate and I both superglued a small weight to aid the reversing.

Good informative review but I would be worried about my rig tangling as it was chucked into the water but would deffo use it to drop a solid bag and at that price I may just invest in one

Iv just brought this bait boat i was wandering if u can slow the hopper down as it looks like a aggressive chuck. Apart from that boat looks good .

Got this 2day worked for 5min then stopped seems if the controller isn't connected for some reason any clues on how to sort this

Just bought one £78 Its ok for the price and a bit of a laugh when trying to read the badly translated Chinese to English instructions. There was no internal battery as the booklet stated. no explanation for the front button. That I worked out was drive. Good value for money Only real drawback is there is no adjustment of speed. The controller is open to the wet and may short out. So keep it dry. Do not use it in the wet. Perhaps keep in in a small polly bag

Has anybody tested the range of this? 500m range might be a bit of a stretch but knowing it’s good out to 300m is a bit of reassurance but again for the money you can’t moan is it will only work out to 200m

The problem with this 'review' is its not an actual test of how you might want to use a bait boat. What is the range? Whats it like in freezing cold or stormy conditions?

I've got one Clive so far so good! Wouldn't pay thousands or even hundreds mate it's a big con as always! Mind you searched around on ebay and got mine for £69 about 4 months back. Nice review mate! 👌👍
