You were in a really touristic town of Kotor...if you would visit more inland places of Montenegro, you would find much more cheaper services, including food. It would be at least half the price and also more authentic experience. But keep it going, it was great to watch. Greetings from Slovenia.

FYI, Casino Royale was nowhere near Montenegro. The casino scenes were shot in Karlovy Vary, in Czech Republic. Very beautiful town. I visited the first week of covid lockdown. The streets were deserted.

It's much cheaper here than neighboring Croatia, Dubrovnik is awfully expensive

Hello, I am from Montenegro, Podgorica. Kotor is a tourist city a little more expensive than, for example, Podgorica or some smaller coastal city (Bar, Ulcinj, Sutomore ...) The shop where you looked at those white shirts is Turkish, so it is not domestic production, it is nothing local. Hairdresser Bajlo is one of the most famous hairdressers in Montenegro. In Podgorica, you can get a haircut for 5-8 euros in a top salon. When it comes to food and drink, I can tell you that you did great. Apart from that Fanta can, you could buy a cold one in the store for 0.70 cents. Vinjak is a brandy that is not very representative, next time if you want to drink something home-made ask for Loza or Šljivovica, but they are not very recommended at high temperatures, get drunk quickly. When you do a little research you will see that you have apartments at very affordable prices. 20-25 euros for a decent size apartment, with a bathroom and 500m from the beach and can accommodate 4 adults. I'm sorry that you didn't find someone from Montenegro to give you instructions on where to go, what to see and where to go shopping. The bag you saw in Podgorica is 30 euros.

11€ for a hostel room is a rip when you can get an apartment for around 25€ a days. I am working there over the summer and am paying ~50€ a day but I also chose a slightly upscale location.
