The window by the sink is very residential like. Likes: 1. Stack washer dryer 2. Living room layout with opposing recliner/ couch setup 3. Spacious bathroom layout Bonus: UNBELIEVABLE storage. This is a certified full timer 2nd bonus: I know, I'm cheating lol but that kitchen layout, design, color palette, everything! Is gorgeous!! Keep on keeping on, Thor! Dislikes: 1. Rounded sink in bathroom. Square looks better and affords more space. 2. No shower-miser 3. Trifold has uncomfortable gap. Wouldve been better if they went with the traditional trifold where the whole bed is cushioned even if it sacrificed some length. Honestly though, it's just nice they didn't go with a jacknife. Honestly, for an entry level diesel pusher this is impressive and it definitely tipped the scales in terms of purchase considerations. Of course, it would be an older model but still. Consider Thor Palazzo an excellent contender.
I never considered this but wow, I would love to travel around, picking up family members as I go and head off to the beach or something and have a reunion. Heavenly.
I have Thor gas 34R same layout, same furniture same vinyl floor and no tilt a bed. Tilt a bed in bedroom is a deal breaker. We use our Motorhome a lot to pull over to sleep at night where you can't put out the slide. Our king bed is usable. This Motorhome is 150k more MSRP price. I always enjoy your videos.
OK, this one makes me want to sell the house and hit the road. It has everything we would need. My only reservation is it’s size. We love visiting the National Parks. There are still several on our bucket list. However, I doubt we could find all these wonderful features; kitchen size, counter space, mid-entry, washer/dryer, all that fabulous space that makes it feel like a home. Oh, perchance to dream.
Like the white basement storage compartments. Makes it easier to see everything. Like the kitchen storage as well as the bedroom. Dislikes: two piece shower, heat ducts in floor, outside power cord hookup.
Ty Matt and Andrea as always very entertaining. I watch every video and enjoy them all . One thing I have noticed is there is never any rv handicapped friendly. If any manufacturer reads this maybe think about making one. ♿ like camping also.
Love Thor! This screams quality. Love love love the back splash, double sinks, tilt a bed with a head board, and the night stands. Love the fact the Capitan chairs swivel and there are the entertainment chairs in the living room. Love the washer, dryer, microwave, (don't know about the fridge) are all whirlpool. Love the awnings and lights out side. Love all the storage! I do not see one dislike for me! Thor, great job! Who ever gets this motor home will be extremely happy.
My dislikes are the bathroom shower needs to be a bit bigger for a seat if they out a storage spot maybe. And no Horn on steering wheel. That’s all my dislikes and my likes are the kitchen and bunk and dinette. And I have a another like which is the midway door. I love the window for your dog too! Sorry for so many likes but this is a great diesel pusher. Thank you Matt and Andreas and Rv One of Charlotte.
Matt! We have a 2020 Palazzo 37.4. It is great. We have two kids. They each get an “area” at night with the tri-fold and the bunk. It’s awesome. Ours has vinyl sheet flooring, it’s cheap and really quite disappointing. I agree 100% with your basement door assessment. Although, we tow a pickup truck and fit all of our stuff (bikes, etc) there all locked up in the bed under a canopy. My wife agrees that should we be in it full time a larger shower would be a requirement. Although I don’t shave my legs…anymore, so that’s her problem 😉
Very nice. It's just missing a dishwasher. Andrea should get a kitchen approved ding or a cabinet/balance approved ding. Sending yall love from Fort Worth Texas. 😁
If Thor reads the comments, then how about an 80 or 90 gallon gray tank so that we have a place to put those 95 gallons of fresh water. The black water tank is adequate, but 40 gallons of gray water capacity simply doesn't cut it.
no coach grey tank is big enough. it should equal the amount of fresh water. I have 90 gal fresh and 70 gal of grey. never came close to half of a tank on the 40 gallon black but always am filling the grey way before I run out of fresh. I am only on hookups about 40 percent of the time.
Thor reviews are always fun with y'all ❤️❤️❤️ I definitely love the mid entry entrance over the bus style and it has the handrail. I love the living area cabinetry and the natural finish instead of super glossy. The kitchen is nicely laid out and sliding drawers with extra countertop. Not a fan of tilt a bed Gotta agree with Matt for 300,000 it has to have an air horn as standard
This Palazzo has a very nice floorplan. The colors are nice. The mid-entry door is great! It has a lot of exterior storage even though the chassis does not allow for full passthrew. The one major dislike I have is the TPO roof. I don't think any diesel motorhome should have a TPO roof. It should be at least fiberglass. Great video as usual, guys!
Nice! I’ll be looking for this one in about 5 years when I might be able to afford it. 😂 Interesting that they’re going back to brown cabinets. Now mine won’t look outdated.
I agree. I don’t like white interiors because how long would a pair of white pants look that way in my life? I’m active, my family is active, our dog is active and that’s all.
Really nice coach. I just think that when you're paying that much money they should be able to find a way to get the heat ducts off the floor. Yes, we have a dog so it's something I always notice.
Minor complaint- when you are showing the cabinets above the cockpit, the picture is super dark because the camera is picking up the light from outside
M&A… another great review! No air horn??? Likes: interior storage, nice dinette and I like the kitchen lots Dislikes: too many TV’s, step up shower, step in bedroom Keep up the good work… you are a good team!
Do not like that the power cord is not connected but rather portable like a travel trailer. Should also come standard with a surge protector. Like the neutral coloured herring bone kitchen backsplash, the mid-entry and slide-out pantry.
Thanks for the video, we have a 2019 Thor Freedom Traveler A27 but looking to step up to this model :-) I'm curious on how the lights will show up at night on the highway ? Thanks again you 2 !
Love his wish I could afford it!! 1.- love the kitchen, nice layout, colors and corner top! Very nice to have the convection microwave 2, love the mid entry as well, like the bunk with the netting and high lbs capacity 3, very nice bathroom and shower 4, televator is always a huge plus and the furniture looks very comfortable 5- stackable washer/dryer Dislikes- 1, vents in the floors- not fur baby friendly 2, didn’t get a clear look - not sure about the wet bay layout 3, could have a bit more interior lighting- didn’t see reading lights, floor or slide out interior lighting- seem like a could be a bit better there’s definitely at this price point a few more lights should be there- in my humble opinion :) also , not sure - we’re there screens for the windows? Love it- like I said- wish I could afford it ;)
On this new 2022 palazzo 37.4 I have another dislike. The front awning stops to close to the edge of door. Looks like the rain will come in right at the door. Take a look at it Matt. I injoy the reviews
Hi Team Thor - you've got the room weight wise: could aluminum slam latch doors be an option? It"s our only real dislike. Matt & Andrea looking forward to your update your reviews for the competitor entry level diesel pushers?
Hey Matt love the videos been watching for a long time. Would love to see you guys use a ruler or tape measure for the smaller cabinets above the table and the beds those cabinets can be very deceiving with the depth of them. Just a little thing I think could help give a little more insight on those smaller cabinets.
Nice! Damn, I missed this yesterday... was on the way to Key West. Agree with Steve Z. LIkes: 2 awnings with wind sensor, pass thru storage, love the CCC!, king bed, pull out drawers in kitchen. Dislikes: only one bath, msrp, no ice maker?
I'm surprised Andrea didn't mention the mobile station at 9:50. It was my second like, with the first like being the mid-entry door. I don't know enough about Class A motorhomes to be able to develop a definitive list of dislikes...yet. The Thor Palazzo is the perfect size for my wife and me when we are ready to return to the States and start touring. We will be buying a Class A, but won't need one large enough to sleep a family, as it is just the two of us.
Likes: Mid-bathroom is very spacious, televator, and no wasteful tv above the windshield. Dislikes: TPO roof, floor vents, and the bed is not useable with the slides in.
Another great video. Did you check about the airhorn? Some allow you to select a little baby horne for in town. Why I don't know, if they need to hear a horn they need to hear the air horne.
Great review as always, Matt and Andrea. The mid-entry door is awesome. I like the layout of the kitchen and agree with you about the bathroom. It could be bigger if you take out that pantry/closet. I have a Thor Quantum LF31 and I'm loving it! But will want to upgrade to a Class A at some point. Your videos are entertaining and informative. Love the three likes and dislikes.
I've said before, I don't like the televator tv behind a sofa! Not very useful for those sitting on the sofa unless they have eyes in the back of their heads. :) The situation of the 2nd tv doesn't make much sense either, but I don't know where you would put a tv. The kitchen is very nice!
The worst part of that rig is the dump plumbing. It's all wrong. Difficult and messy to use, crawling under to push the dump hose through the hole and attach the bayonet. PIA! You can't dump quick. It's an ordeal to dump those tanks in that rig. And that can't be fixed!! That one item would prevent me from buying it. I can do without an airhorn, I don't need that, but I need easy dump ergonomics. Too bad, as the rest of the rig is pretty nice.
We already own an RV so this question is more a general information. I have heard from multiple sources that Thor has some really serious quality issues. True or not?
true! I bought a used Palazzo last year and have spent more time working on it than using it. I have decided to either sell or trade it for a used tiffin. and for the price of a new subquality thor you can buy a good low milage slightly used tiffin of much higher quality.
Thor has the same colour cabinets in all their models. I agree with your 2 first dislike, i’d specify that the shower looks cheap like a basic tow trailer. I don’t know why there is a handle hole on the kitchen pull out as any liquid or spice will fall right in the drawer. Too bad its on a rail chassis it takes so much out of the diesel feature, at this point get a gas (ford 😬)
There's no way that coach with A/C included is 12' 1" high while having an 82" interior ceiling height. You should measure that, I think it's wrong. I bet it's more than 13'.
I have a 2016 Palazzo with AC. its 12.5 feet. no idea what the interior height is but I am 6'2" and no problem so Im sure its 7'. Palazzo doesnt have the raised frame and its ride height isnt very high so thats how it fits under 13"
DIS-1) HEAT registers in the FLOOR, dirt will be distributed each time the heat fires; 2) HUGE propane tank, as a retired driver, we were NOT allowed to have 'secondary' heat systems(fueled) Heat exchanger w/that diesel is easy[and at $325. large ouch]; 3) Axle(drive) will give-out with the weight limits declared LIKES 1) The guard-railing, one of my pet b*tches (Matt scores big-HURRAH!!, it WILL save an ankle injury; 2)STORAGE MONSTER on the interior Who does it finer? I haven't witnessed that yet; 3)Getting closer on the fresh-water demands with the amounts of guest seating! Grade-'B'-plus (SHOULD-a been an 'A' except it's 75k higher than it should be)
Matt, 01:46 you have to get off the "very unique", "unique" means "being the only one of its kind; unlike anything else". So there is no such thing as "very unique". You scored with pound-feet vs foot pounds now lets us get rid of "very unique" 02:23 It seems unlikely that a doesel motorhome would have a gasoline generator (6000 QG -quiet gasoline), Seems more likey a diesel generator.
$330k and no air horn (it would only cost $100 for Thor to add it) and in the realm of DP’s virtually no outside storage!!!! I was expecting a sub $300k price tag, with discounts that would put it around $250k. This is not a good deal, not to mention it’s still a Thor! I’ll take my $300k and buy a quality used Tiffin or similar brand with far more features and no build quality issues!
I fill up my DEF tank about every 4th time I fill the fuel tank. its about $30 on average to fill it so its a miniscule amount compared to the four tanks of fuel. if the price of def concerns you stay with a gasser.
Yup, and absolute pieces of garbage. Have had our 2021 Palazzo for just over a year and have only been able to use it 2 times and both times the trip was ruined by problems with the coach. Should promote good products only, not give people false hope they’re getting a good deal. If it’s the cheapest, it’s the cheapest for a reason. Straight trash.
If this is your idea of what a diesel pusher is I feel sorry for you. I feel sorry for anyone that buys this you would be better served to save money and buy a Tiffin with Liquid Springs.
He has to make a living. He has the ability to now look at any brand where before he was limited to GRV franchised brands. I think he’s limited with the stock issues.
@@stevez340 it’s difficult to make rv videos with 100k subscribers and make money. I think your missing the point that he can review any brand of RV’s. I’m just not sure what else you’d be expecting from an RV review lol
