ALL manufacturers need to get rid of the way the outside compartment doors stay open. All the way up or down is a must especially for older couples. Love the cab and drivers seat.
ya, i just mentioned above myself...... put tv off to right near door, and have the front top window up there like bunks do, storage either side.... i do like no bunk up there.
❌ i'm with Andrea- the print on the valances and nightstands is WAY too busy. Makes it difficult if not impossible to use any other prints to decorate. Hard NO. ❌ outside storage doors ❌ TV placement ❌ No oven or convection oven
Valances are only put on with 4 small screws. They're easy to recover with your own fabric. But I get what you're saying... with a price tag that large, they should do it for you.
The outside doors would be a deal breaker for me. Thinking about it more, the last thing I would want is to be on my knees getting under that door at a dump station.
Wish those cargo doors were side swing. TV above cab is OK, but... across from sofa is better. Would rather sacrifice cabinets over the recliner. No air horn? Still?? No convection or oven? Those kitchen window blinds SUCK! 👎
Need an oven, don’t like the outside doors that lift up for storage area. The lights in the bedroom should be on wall by headboard so you read and not have light shining in eyes. Lighter wood, not white, maple.
My dislikes are the doors outside don’t open sideways. Tv position to watch it. And the shower door. My likes are the bedroom the dinette and the sofa bed. Love that there is a tv outside. This is a nice supper C for the price point. Thank you Matt and Andrea.
Hi, Matt & Andrea! Can you guys make a Matt's RV Reviews sweatband to wear on those very hot days? I don't like that they don't give you an oven or convection microwave. For the love of Pete, manufacturers gotta stop already with the pedestal toilets. I don't like radius showers. I don't like the design on the valances/headboard. The hubby & I have bad backs, so the doors on the outside storage not lifting all the way up are a deal-breaker.
There isn't anything that stands out that I could say that I like. Now there's plenty of dislikes for me starting with the storage doors not opening all the way up or to the side. I would not buy this motorhome just on the storage doors. No bunk over the cab, bathroom is small for this large size. The heater door being all black instead of the paint scheme. At this price it should come with solar panels. The bed headboard is like WOW! Is the interior decorator on drugs or what? Thanks for another review, I look forward everyday for them.
Hi guys , those outside doors are a deal breaker for me. Can you do a video of Entegra 2022 , the largest model with the bath and a half please?? That’s my favorite of all the class C’s unless I hit the lottery for a Renegade on up . Thanks in advance and I love the keychain and the stickers !!!
I love Super Cs. Plan on getting one however I don’t like the layout of this RV. The doors of the outside compartments. I don’t like the TV placement. There is no storage under the dinette benches. Blinds? I would prefer day and night shades. No convention oven/ microwave. They should have an oven then. This is for someone who doesn’t plan on living in it for long periods of time.
I would totally give up the cabinet over the door to have the TV there and regular storage doors where the TV over the cab is. Second suggestion would be to replace the loose recliner with a dedicated desk space with a nice view out that window.
I love that Mat climbs up on the roof. I'm a big guy and I always worry about these ladders supporting my 300 pounds. I don't know how heavy Mat is but he looks about like I do so I'm guessing he isn't far off my weight.
Someone mentioned on another Matt's RV video to ditch the bunk over the cab and put in an entertainment center. I'm happy to see Nexus is willing to experiment based off actual consumers' wants and desires. That is dope. Now if only they would ditch the bottom bunk in their bunkhouses, keep the bunk over cab, and option in a desk and chair and bookshelf combo in the space for people who camp with kids, but don't have a million, and would like to use the RV beyond the children living with them. There are plenty of spaces for people to sleep. Please experiment with multipurpose/multiuse spaces. I'd love to see this fleshed out. But beyond that, I'm happy to see them change around the usual floorplans and try some new options. Keep going guys!
My interest dropped a notch when I saw that the outside storage doors open only to horizontal. That's inconvenient at best and impossible for those with flexibility issues. There are plenty of storage cabinet spaces inside, but drawers under the dinette seats would be great. I like that the bed is accessible for boondocking. The pull out sofa is SO much nicer than a jackknife style.
Learned several customer service things in this video. The fridge (knowing how you take care of the problem asap and then you wait for the replacement) and response time are huge factors.
Tv is in terrible place I don’t wanna get on my hands and knees together the side compartments even the cheapest travel trailers the doors flip all the way up
Nope. Exterior doors swing up halfway - no way to load anything without kneeling or lying on the ground. They need to swing sideways. Kitchen needs a smaller sink to provide some counter space. Bathroom needs complete redesign. One person could move the chair between the sink and dinette to watch TV but nobody else could see it. I think Dr. Seuss designed the valances, headboard, and backsplash.
I love the King size bed in a 32’ Coach, the storage behind the TV and the walk through space with the slides in. I don’t like the single sink in kitchen, where do you rinse the dishes?
All I can say is you get what you pay for !! For a small family on a tight budget it’s great ! Or if you want to rent it for a week or two to vacation on a camping trip good !
Here's an idea... go steal the person who designed the interior of the new Alliance prototype... it's Gorgeous!! You guys SERIOUSLY need help with interior decor!! 😳
I love most everything although I’d opt for the cab-over bunk… definitely need normal baggage doors and honestly I’d rather have a small outdoor kitchen (or at least a fridge) than a TV
Nexus employees must not use their product as if they did they would instantly realize the outside doors NEED TO SWING TO THE FRICKIN SIDE. Are they TOTALLY unaware of who they or their customers are. Idiot door mechanics. Unbelievable.
Likes: Floorplan indicates a king bed; diesel; extra seat near door; pass thru storage; paint job. Dislike: shower and toilet seem small; price; location of tv.
Thanks Andrea and Matt for another great RV review! Dislikes The kitchen 1. No double sink! 2. No convection? 3. That pantry needs a slide out shelf unit 4. Outside doors don’t swing all the way up or sideways. 5. Not a fan of dark interior and busy fabric. Likes 1. Residential size refrigerator 2. Nice couch 3. Big engine hopefully lots of CCC! 4. Nice table and 5.lots of storage inside and out loved the closet and drawers.
The valances and headboard are way too busy. But I do like the split bathroom but yes radius shower sucks. I like the sofa and the chair you can move around.
Hey Matt! You could have called that sofa art deco with those sloped, two level arms! lol That pattern on the valances and the headboard is art deco also! Ya missed that one too :) But, you try lol Andrea, what a beautiful blouse! hank the both of you for making this video in that heat. I know you were miserable but camping goes on and we all greatly appreciate your suffering for us. Thank you! As for this RV...its a monster but I like it! I don't like that it doesn't have a fridge :( I also don't like slide outs but, you know, you really don't have to use them. IT'S ALSO NOT A FORD!! WOOO-HOOO!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I know Ford used to buy engines from International but I guess International wouldn't compromise on quality so Ford dumped them. Ha ha!! Which makes me want an International even more!! But no fridge?? Umm...well, they're mostly for farming equipment so ya get what ya get. And I guess I'm going to have to get my pilots lisence to work that thing. Too many gadgets. But it's got a lot of room and I'm loving the look of it. I kind of like the valances and kind of don't. They're pretty but the pattern is kind of too "busy". The light over the dinette I like. But $226k?!?!? Holy sheep dip, batman!!That's wayyyy too far out of my reach! I knew it was too good to be true smh. For that price there should be TWO refrigerators! Holy guacamole! I guess all RV manufacturers are taking advantage of the housing crisis in this country. Sad. But I like that they at least put in the cabinet for the fridge and its up off of the floor. I do not like fridges that sit on the floor. Dust and dirt and even critters sometimes get all up into the bottom of the seal and more bacteria gets into your food. But for 226k by god they should have a fridge in there. Thats just so wrong on so many levels. That pantry will be annoying. Deep and narrow, you'll be pulling things out with your arm while your hand is in the back trying to reach something. And no lighting. No good. Now the bed problem can be fixed by just taking out the bed and replacing it with something smaller (for me as a single, anyway) but I couldn't take advantage of the two windows on either side of the bed unless the slide was out. Unfair. Kinda doesn't matter much anyway as they are the kind of windows that I hate, that only open a tiny bit on the bottom and are completely pointless anyway. Heat rises. If they're going to have tiny openings then the openings should be on top of the window to get a cool breeze. Sigh. I should stop looking at these grossly expensive RV's and just go do a school bus conversion for $20k or less. That way, I could have what I want, how I want it since RV manufacturers just aren't grasping the point. And because this bed has electrical, water tank and heater vents built in, it would be a mess to try and pull this massive space waster out to put in something smaller. Well, hell...at least its not a Ford. Sigh. With the prices of these things, its looking more and more like I have to go the schoolie route. But thank you for finally showing me something that isn't a Ford. I'm always open to non-Ford RV's and I'll keep looking but time is wasting for me...at 60, I need to get my rear in gear and get _something_ soon or I'm going to wind up in an old folks home in my last days because I can't afford my own place to live and I don't want that. So thanks for throwing more out there, doing your thing. I'll keep watching and hoping but if the RV companies are truly taking advantage of displaced people, then I'm one of the screwed ones. love you guys. Thank you.
I like the thought of when you said if something is missing from one unit they just take it from another one, but the problem is when they say they will have it shipped directly to your house and 1 1/2 months later still don’t have the table for our garage bed...too bad it’s not general rv so you can’t even yell at anyone for me either. 😒
Hey Nexus, change the valences and headboard, put the toilet at a normal position, have a microwave/convection microwave especially because there is no oven, give people a choice in cabinet colors
The colors are a mish-mash....white seats, grey and black walls and valances, brown couch, different brown dinette...the outside is beautiful...the inside falls flat. Should have washer hookup also...
I have to sum up my thoughts on Nexus: A truly dysfunctional company top to bottom. This model clearly reflects on the company’s overall inability to produce an RV. Please do not show their low quality high price disasters. Why does General RV sell their products?
Outdoor storage doors need to open more so one does not have to crawl on ground to get into the cabinets. Nice valances, love backslash, love storage over the cab instead of a bed. Love cab seats, love cabinets over slides. Do not like that the couch, dinette and cab seats all have different color upholstery. Love the shower door opening. Do not like floor vent in front of toilet. It will end up smelling of urine. Good storage in bedroom. Like the floor. Like style of sofa. Great chassis.
agree about outside doors, if not open sideways could at least go all the way up, otherwise nothing i do not like, i do prefer tv over cab instead of bunk, but would actually be cool with the window up there and tv off to side near door instead, better viewing angle and get window up top as well (turn power drop down shade in to a projector screen just because along with it lol, or just put another tv across from couch instead of chair like some other larger ones will have 2 tv in living area.
Not impressed with this interior at all. I get that it's about the price-point but "price-point" doesn't need to be cheap looking, and folks $200k is not cheap. I'd look on the Nexus website to see if there are different interior colors to choose from but this model isn't worth the extra effort. The overhead cabinet doors may be held up by struts but those struts cost more than those cheap cabinets. Hopefully the mattress is just a "staging" mattress because that thing barely passes for a mattress. No convection microwave and no oven? Cheap. Mini blinds that are falling apart? For 200k?? GTFOH. Swing up cargo doors? Matt - if you truly wanted to showcase the 2022 Nexus Triumph you should have chosen a different unit to review because this unit completely turns off a lot of people and it's not a good selling point for those who are in the market for a Super C.
Is this the same brand we complained about the cargo doors a couple of weeks ago? If so I don't think they do read the comments (lol, they couldn't change the doors that fast)
Ditto on the dislikes, don't like the design on the valances, it looked like there were two shades of brown, loved lighter shades and cabinetry. Would love to sit behind that wheel 😎
200K with no oven? Outside storage doors should open any other way but up! Needs theater seating for that terrible TV positioning. Love the storage behind the TV.
HI MATT AND ANDREA..NICE SUPER C!❤1. PRETTY 2.LOOKS CLASSY CHASSIS 3.STYLE AND FLOORPLAN😪1.NO SHORTS???THIS PLANTCITY BOY IS WEARIN SHORTS!🤣2.I HONESTLY LOVE IT! NICE REVIEW KIDS!👍
I have been looking at super Cs i am looking to down size a little i like the international version I like the truck look . I am unsure if i am going to trade in my Cornerstone What is the biggest super C in Luxury style I wish there was a 40 foot super C I guess 36 or 38 will do Nexus or Entegra super c I am going to research my self My thing is engine size and Gen size I always like more than i need Thank you PS i will be in Florida with in 90 days Mainly RV shopping
Love the chassis. Hate those stupid doors! MERICA! ! love you and Andrea. Not a fan of the radius shower. Did I mention I Hate those stupid doors! What's up with those " Art Deco" valances? Can we say Ugly? Really appreciate the Azdel. They give you a great engine and chassis, then throw in a bunch of cheap stuff. But for the price point I could learn to love it! Except those stupid doors!
Matt and Andrea - not sure if anyone mentioned it below but I got confused with the specs when I realized that the ones you posted on the screen do not appear to be for this rig.
Dislikes 1. Don't love the fabric (too busy). Also, prefer the valance without side pieces like in bedroom. Should do same in living area.. 2. Don't like all of the dark brown (fabric, wood work) 3. Hate the storage doors swinging up instead of side to side. You have to bend over or crawl under the door to get to storage. 4. For that price point should not have cheap wonky blinds on kitchen window and regular microwave and no oven. Likes 1. You can use the bed without slide-outs being out. 2. Large sink 3. Good storage
OK so this is the most nit pickiest comment ever so hold your horses! I think I’d go with “ least expensive “ over cheapest. Especially if I were speaking to a Nexus representative! All kidding aside if I were in the Super C market I might look elsewhere. I especially have a fondness for the Omni 32. Or better yet the Renegade Veracruz 😃 Great video as always!
Dislikes: 1) not a fan of the outside doors, should either open sideways or all the way up. Miss the air horn too 2) really dislike the position of the TV, but I do like the over cab storage. What if the TV was mounted more to the passenger side and angled? 3) Would rather have recliners than the dinette and have a free standing table Likes: 1) I love the paint job on the outside. Nexus has been good with their designs 2) love the cabinet space though out, should have either a convection microwave or an oven.
The 3 things I like about this motorhome: 1. tri-fold sofa 2. the amount of walkway and accessibility with the slide-outs in 3. the construction: the steel cage framing, Azdel inside and outside, and the metal ducting The 3 things I don't like about this motorhome: 1. TV placement 2. the baggage doors, I prefer they opened to the side 3. *sigh* *shakes head* again it's a dislike: no airhorn
Matt have always enjoyed your videos and this is my first time commenting, so my favorite part of your videos is ANDREA......... both of you are awesome and keep up the great work 👍
👍 dang, bookended with a competitor commercial. L: chassis, cockpit; space slide in/out, useable bed w/slide in; kitchen. D: cabinetry/furniture a tad too dark; ext storage flip-up doors; no more Azdel interior wall construction? Please stay safe. 😷😷😷😷
I enjoy it when you have a sale price involved in the video Even if it's that exact model with those options give us that price of that model with those options
I don’t love the outside compartments when the doors don’t lift all the way. Not all of us like to crawl around to get in there. The ONE time that’s OK is when the door shades the TV to reduce glare. That sofa bed looks horribly uncomfortable.
Matt, would you ask Jenn to post the correct spec. The spec posted is for a Ford chassis. This video is a year old but I still find old video useful for shopping compare.
Do not like the out side cabinet doors.....have get on your knees to get anything in or out! Valances are ugly...Like the shower... I agree with Matt about the toilet! Like the storage above the cab...should have microwave/convection The couch and chair should match.....I also agree about the water heater door.....Like the couch..Should have and extension to the counter. The orice is very goid but maybe they can tweek a few things and still manage to keep this price point. .
I have to agree with you, Matt. The money saved does make up for the features one might expect; however, in an rv like this why the overhead entertainment center? No one is facing it! The best seat to sit at would be the dinner table!! What were they thinking? This is a good overall unit, even if the 50 amp cord is shoved in a bin and there is no divider between the water connections and the storage.
