i bet it can sound good even though it's plastic! i know someone who has a toy ukulele and it worked fine while i played it :) dont beat yourself down, all you need is practice for it to be great!
Note on the yellow ukulele: I have the same one in a different color. It's over a year old now, holds the tune pretty well (though the first few weeks were indeed difficult). It's not a high quality one, but pretty decent for its price.
And if you aren’t wearing socks *looks down at bare feet Then go put some on or we will never know *runs to room and puts on socks This is a true story
Dear mother, Whatever you do, don’t buy me a Wish ukulele thats very cheap. Or a ukulele from Amazon that very cheap. Moral of the story, don’t buy me. Cheap ukulele. Thank you mother. Love ya, Your daughter. 💞
That tiny watermelon uke is absolutely adorable! I'm getting one! We don't always have to have concert level instruments - why can't we just do things for the sake of cuteness and fun! Thanks for sharing!
I got it too, the tuning always destroyed itself from time to time and I had to tune it all over again but over time the tuning got way better and it was more pleasing to hear and I didn't have to keep on tuning it any longer, I think the ukulele just needs some more time to adjust a bit
Ladies.. If a man plays Riptide using a watermelon ukulele.. Marry him Edit: Ladies, I don't mean to offend someones' sexuality or anything. This comment is purely a dumb joke. Either way, if someone can play a whole song on a watermelon ukulele. That person is the equal to Thanos gauntlet (I think) It means that it's pretty impressive for someone to play a whole song on a toy ukulele.
@@maauw well, if the lady plays riptide to him. It would be in a reverse situation. Now, I'm don't have much experience in romance but I guess women would like their men to sing and play to them, right? But in this situation, if it was me personally, I would be impressed AND clueless on what to say what to react.
My uku is the second one in pink... I’m a complete beginner and it took me 30 minutes to tune it the first time... I had to retune it every 10secs for the first day..and multiple times throughout the week... and 1 month now... it stays in tune 😁
Theres an app called yousician, maybe that could help you, that's what I use to help me tune my uke. And it's a free tool to help you learn songs and chords, I love it
I like my bangs covering my forehead because my family has big foreheads including me. So when my mom makes a tight ponytail, I literally look like I’m bald. Lmao
This vid will always hold a special place in my heart. It’s the first vid I watched of hers and she is the one who inspired me to start playing ukulele. Now I have a really nice concert cordoba.
I have the yellow ukulele but in black!! :) It DOES stay in tune after some time, it stays in tune whether i play it or not for more than 2 weeks straight now!!! :p I bought it in june or july, and it did not sound like you showed, strings came very loose in the beginning but i was able to tune it to standard tuning in the beginning it changed after 5 minutes or so, it did get a lot better though I really love it, and i still have the strings it came with! :p I bought it on ebay for a total of 15 dollars i do recommend it, but i have never played any other more expensive ukuleles, the ones sold in supermarkets for 30 bucks in my country sound exactly like this one though!!!!! i have tried many tutorials and it never fails me, so for a beginner i TOTALLY recommend it! also it made me realize i'd love getting a concert ukulele instead of a soprano, i'd like it a little bigger ps - i start playing cause of you, thank you
@@elliejames3387 its literally the same as her yellow one in the video no name no brand, therefore no i dont think so what she bought on wish is the same as i bought on ebay its very easy to buy the same thing in these websites as they both come from sellers in asia, factories should be the same or similar, not the first time i see the same things on the sites, wish is just more expensive cause of the shipping prices the sellers put in each item
The Dark Choices oh ok because I got my first uke yesterday which is similar to the one she got but it’s a Martin Smith black one. I have no idea if it’s good as there are many mixed reviews, many focusing on the appearance and I don’t want to upset my grandparents who got me it by buying a new one immediately
For me, I highly recommend Enya, it is actually rlly good for beginners and it progressed me very fast, the one I got was half electric, half acoustic, and it's incredible. The one I bought was not the best for beginners, but they get cheaper, check them out! I love their ukuleles
When I bought my guitar, I told my mom it had 4 1/2 stars out of 5 and she told me to check how many reviews there were. If there are a lot of reviews and a good amount of stars, it means that it has a good chance of being a nice guitar (Or whatever thing you buy) but if there aren't many reviews (7:00 - 4 1/2 stars but only 87 reviews) it probably is not worth getting. Helpful Tip for those who want to buy good instruments (Or any other thing you want to buy).
* $5 dollar shipping * “that’s crazy you think you’re getting something cheap then they always hit you with the shipping” Meanwhile here in Canada: * shipping costs the same as the item you’re getting *
I have a penguin uke. It’s really good and holds its tune. It was 50$. They are super good. I got mine in yellow. I really hope more people can check this uke out. It’s really good. Edit: I’ve been playing It for 2 months now, I only had to retune it 5 times Another edit: i’ve had it for a year now and it’s still holding up super strongly, no strings have broke so far, and it’s still intact and looks brand new!
I think I subscribed to your channel like 5 years ago because I was learning uke and listening to a lot of covers, but here lately I somehow stumbled into the chaos-goblin content, and I'm here for it.
Speaking of Ukuleles, my old band teacher took over the music program for the elementary kids and instead of teaching them recorder he started teaching them how to play ukulele. BUT OF COURSE THIS WAS LONG AFTER I WAS IN ELEMENTARY SO I GOT STUCK PLAYING THE RECORDER AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHEN I'LL EVER USE IT AGAIN OR WHERE IT EVEN IS. Yeah so, anyways still pretty salty over it but oh well 🤷
Ok so I gots to say a thing the only reason I know how to play ukulele is because of your tutorials and my mom really likes your singing voice ok I'm done so thanks
