I've picked up most of my post-plant habits from watching macie. Underneath Grim, vertical play, I find myself going for plants just to be able to do them because they're so satisfying.

Objective play in siege is in a weird spot, because either defense is just straight too oppressive (esp. when played properly) or the attackers can set up an infallible assault within seconds. Both scenarios usually resulting in the plant not even really needing to go down, because in order for the attack to start planting, they usually need to put themselves in a position where they already pretty much won by kills.

i've been using that coastline claymore outside hookah for years. good for atleast one freebie if you get the plant down and sometimes gets em even if you don't. if I know a defender is close to the hookah door, i'll hop on drone and with how aggro players are, often get them to go for the runout without even checking for the claymore. my aim can be kinda inconsistent sometimes, so i'll keep farming the easy claymore/kapkan kills till ubi shuts the game down, or people start checking their surroundings. not sure which will come first haha.

Well, that's how we've played for about 8 years now. Always go for the plant with a solid plan to cover the one who's planting and defend the defuser after. Of course it's not always successful but beats running blindly after kills any day of the week. Besides, i'm not that good of a shot so smarter gameplay suits me much better. And why waste all the tactical potential the game has to offer by playing it like run&gun COD anyways.

I wish this game was easier to get into so I could get my friends to play. But having to learn so many different maps is hard. Would be nice if there was a way to play a single map more often.
