I'm glad I now know so much about Australian consumer issues and politics from watching the Chaser crew over the years. It's unfortunate there's no American counterpart. But then it probably wouldn't be as funny.

Right, and the chasers are currently doing a show called The Checkout, that has nothing to do with marijuana being illegal. There is a LOT of resources on that anyway, I really don't think Chasers could make any more clear than "The Union"

And about that Subway footlong not being a foot long... As someone who actually used to work there, you're getting the exact same amount of product either way. All an 11" sub means is that they didn't stretch out the dough as much. There's the same amount of bread and the amounts of meat and vegetables are very specific and based on weight.

Something I do to beat the system is take pictures of the clothes and if possible me in them go home and come back a day or to later it helps you think 'do I really want this or was it just a passing fancy' if I still want it I go back if possible try it on again and then make a final decision

Where I live, the Subway sandwich legnths are listed as "[small] (15 cm)" and "Footlong (30 cm). And yet they STILL claim it's a trademark and not actually based on a unit of measurement?

Anesthetic is not given to research/laboratory animals - Apparently out of 100 products tested on animals, maybe 4, will find a place in the market - How hardened must one become to look at these animals and not feel shame? Many thanks for the vid.
