On a dreary wet day in the late sixties, we travel behind a Hymek diesel hydraulic from Witham to Cheddar and back to Frome, including a stop at Cranmore, which was to become the centre of the East Somerset Railway.
Must be before April 1968 as that is when the S&D was lifted through Shepton Mallet. The cheddar line was truncated back to Doulting Quarry until that closed in 1969.
