Growing up we just had spaghetti 🍝 and salt tine crackers lol if no crackers we had regular white bread 🍞, as I got older a friend of mine said I’m doing spaghetti and fried chicken I looked and said what lol he was from Chicago and he said that’s what they eat with their spaghetti, now I do spaghetti, garlic bread, corn 🌽, salad 🥗 and or fried chicken…

After seasoning ur chicken then flour ur chicken then pour hot sauce over raw floured chicken then flour ur chicken again then deep fry ur chicken in ur big cooking pot with fresh cooking oil ( another way to get crunchy chicken is by season ur chicken flour ur chicken then pour a little milk over floured chicken then flour chicken again then fry ur chicken everybody will always ask u to cook chicken for cooks outs baby showers too)

Wash off filmy chicken parts place inside a strainer so water drips off chicken then season all ur chicken inside a bowl garlic powder onion powder black pepper sazon salt let sit inside fridge over night of in morning until u decide to cook after work or after school then beat up 1 egg in a bowl then drip chicken in bowl of egg or pour egg over seasoned chicken then put flour into a plastic bag put in chicken shake chicken in the bag of flour making sure every piece of chicken well flour then heat up a pan of freshly cooking oil then fry ur chicken as soon as chicken done cooking pour honey on hot chicken or pour bar b que sauce over hot chicken enjoy ur meal

I use only hot water on a hot cast iron pan when cleaning it. Never soap and never a cold cast iron under hot water. If the pan is cold I’ll heat it for about 10 seconds…just enough to get it warm. The soap will strip it from its season and a cold pan, hot water could crack.

Hey Fav!! Spaghetti and chicken, two of my favorites, it looks delicious as usual!! Growing up, my Moma always used hamburger and sausage and would cook chicken or fish. Now, I cook mine with either turkey or beef, hot sausages and Italian sausages along with chicken on the side. I hated any kinds of beans or peas growing up, only beans I eat now is black beans and string beans, nothing else!!

I was taught to wash stuff. Non negotiable. I don't understand this discussion. I also had a very hard time with the cast iron pan. I know some people don't wash their underwear on the regular. That's not how I was taught. 😮

Pinto beans, Lima beans, butter beans and black eye peas I love it all. I don’t like English peas. In my household if you eat what mother cook you eating air. On Friday and Saturday ‘s we ate out. Oh we never ever had fried food only on Sunday’s. My mom was strict on watching what we had to eat.
