@@pleasespam6949 class 6 or sometimes a Walmart or liquor store. At least when I was in the Army we would buy a 40 rack for a barracks party. Maybe they don't sell them any more?
A silencer doesn't make it "silent", it just shortens the range of those that can hear it. There will still be a half-square circumference of Rusters who will hear it and decide whether to counter. Still useful though, of course.
I like to build bases on rust with nothing in them just to mess with people. I'll legit spend hours making a metal base and then only put enough materiel in the TC to keep it there. Then I build a tiny Chad cube somewhere else
lmao same 😂😂 it’s so funny coming back after a day or two having my stockpile in my small main base and having my big empty base raided 😂 U just know they left with thousands of sulfur down and no loot 😂
1 c4 1 rocket is definitely The best, you can surprise them by shooting the rocket right as the c4 goes off because they might be thinking they have time before you breach
So you let one c4 blow and as they wait for the next 10 seccond fuse off of the next c4 they instead get caught off guard because right after the c4 you just blow the fucker off giving you time to entry and kill the defenders
One time me and my buddies rock raided an armored wall. We were drunk and stoned so naturally we did braindead caveman activities. Took us like 10 hours and we got nothing, there was garage doors behind it and just bags
C4 explo is generally the best solution for specific wall/door. But rockets are so much nicer for the splash in many situations.. The balance in the game is perfect 👌
what? he didnt? you can see a dudded satchel and he cuts the video to make the vid shorter and not have to see him place the satchel back down or reignite the satchel
Launcher is cheap and easily acquired for how many shots you get out of it. Durability is out of the question when it comes to that. Explo ammo is usually used with SAR, because it's the cheapest format. But the LR is probably better for that. It costs only scrap (which isn't that hard to get) and gives you a faster way of raiding + more Durability than a Sar. Also dude said garage door takes 160, when it's 150.
Yeah this is very interesting but I would still use sachels as spending the time to fire 160 explosive bullets makes it more likely that I could be countered the people in base could ready a defense faster or they could come back while I am raiding so still using c4
Also shooting a garage door from the "soft side" (as shown in the video) there will be a lower cost with explosive ammo than when firing from the other side!
This reminded me of the first days of rust with me and friends; first we did not know that you need tc, so people would trap us in our bases and we though they are cheaters or we were thinking we got raided, since we would never find our bases in the morning. Then came idealistic days, when we learned a bit, but did not know about airlocks, so we were inside plenty of times and instead of rebuilding that small base we had to retake it, hitting for hours doors with spears, rocks, torches and shit, to reclaim an empty, stone 2x2.... :D then next morning instantly i lost our base, just after we spent 2 hours raiding it back; felt so bad and did not want to make my friend sad, so i spent 4 hours~ raiding the base back from the very morning... :D after we got better we had one tower of our enemies, which destroyed and foundation wiped our base, we wanted to offline them, very first raids, we gathered like 40-50k surf, went in and quickly realized we wont go through their base, so i suggested and we decided to jackhammer them out, 4 or 6 hqm foundations and full metal honeycomb, i did not know at the time that you can refill at workbench, so we were repairing them, took hours, both of my friends gave up, i was only one left, morning came like 6-7 am as i was finishing the last foundation and the dude came back on, and then dropped and died with all his base, was satisfying but not worth it. anyway rust was fun, when you are shit and learning and everything new, now progression is lighting fast and boring. P.s fuck toxic players who go deep and grief newbies, go deep take stuff and leave, let people learn. not discourage newbies from playing
I mean the only viable one here is c4 and rocket since it’s fast and cheap. The last thing you want is something that takes forever and makes a ton of noise to bring in counter raids.
use the HMlmg with explo, its not that time consuming but its so much riskier than throwing c4. thats why c4 is better for solos/duos compared to large groups just using anything cause they filthy rich anyway
May I ask you ? Since I'm not playing this game, I saw on RU-vid video everyone raid it on from door ? Isn't that stupid for a thief ? Why not the wall ? Back wall ? Expected wall that behind a direct loot ? Why ?
I started playing rust 6 days ago, and yesterday i went on my first raid. At the end there were some garage doors, and after around 350 explo ammo (8750 sulfur) the doors still had about 400 hp left. I tried hitting it a bit up in a corner where 2 garage doors met btw. Is it better to hit it in the middle??? I was kinda relieved i didnt get through those last doors though. Had already gotten so many guns and stuff, and riding the horse back and forth was starting to get grindy 😅
Either 2 c4 or 4 rockets. It’s slightly more expensive than stone structures using explo or satchels, so If it’s on a stone frame then blow the frame rather than the door
56 Salvaged hammers. 1 hour 7 min 35 sec. 1 metal pipe 50 metal frags each. 56 metal pipes + 2,800 metal frags total. That's 56 Street signs & 4 1/3 (roughly) of metal nodes. Much cheaper & if you have 3 friends? About 17 minutes for all 4 of you to get through it.
i just bought rust so dont flame me, but how do you get gunpowder the easiest? Im doing pretty good i just have no clue how to get the GP to make bullets
Hidden stats. The explo cost him half an AK after he repairs it. Frags cost not included in these values. Low grade not included etc. Wanna raid a garage door on a small base just c4 explo it. Wanna raid it on a large base use 3 rockets. If you wanna use explo ammo use the hmlmg not the AK to fire it
In the time it takes you to farm the pipes needed for the hammers, then raid said base, you can hit a dozen sulfur rocks, like 3 trees and cook the sulfur and craft the explosives. Time conservation is key in this game. This is why some people are late game while others are stuck in prim. This mentality right here
@@Tyshkevich efficiency is not a bad mentality don’t listen to this fool. Salvaged hammer is the first bp explosives are not. Pipes are abundant in road signs you want a low cost raid hammers are the way to go.
@@Nuaia69 lol wdym rockets you have to craft takes so much longer, I could get on a server wait 30 mins after building a base go for the first airdrop get it and have c4 or satchel grind down the satchel to make the c4s or wait until next airdrop therefore all the stuff isn't expensive rather free that's how rust works you don't nessisarley have to craft explosives unless your on a 2x no bps or just no bps server screw spending over 4k scrap to unlock all the stuff you need to craft c4 that's just too much effort
@@TheBangMangTingTang you aren’t guaranteed c4 at every airdrop though. I’d rather put that time into running cargo for the chance at multiple c4/rocket locked crates
You say the cheapest way to raid a base but I doubt you would even get through the first mag or satchel charge before someone rolls up and ruins your day.
