The old phrase “they don’t build them like they used to” holds very true for Chevy trucks. This engine and transmission combination will take you to hell and back for the next 20 years. Awesome truck!

Gotta keep fluid in it, when it leaks around rear seal, can't expect no troubles under those circumstances🙄

Do not tow in overdrive in these trucks and if you use them hard you can figure on doing front brakes every 20k. But they are great looking and the perfect height.

@@hashslingingslasher4215 yes I have and those look 1000 times better than these 1990s chevys. My dad had a 64 chevy. I can deal with a square body but these are god awful. The front end is horrendous not to mention rust prone with these trucks 🤢

When i drove tow truck years ago the wrecker was a dually Chevy with a 454 and it would smoke those 4 rear tires at will, just a beast!!...awesome truck except for the fuel economy, you couldn't pour gas on the ground faster then that thing could burn through it. They retired that truck and swapped to diesel Hino's i believe.

Man this is the exact truck that I want, they are such a dying breed these days anymore it's so sad, its a piece of America that's for sure, you did a great job on bringing that truck back to life, 5 spd 4 wheel drive. A true hard working American truck

OBS trucks are selling fast these day . With a Big Block and manual. Over price it and you'll get every penny for it. Wish I had the room for it but have to many toys already.

Love that paisley headliner......and the rest of that truck too. Nice to see the manual. Steel wheels give it a purposeful look. I could be wrong but I am betting that license plate won't bend much if the truck is rear ended.

The truck is looking and running well! Those Michelin’s help smooth out the ride as well! Not a great off-road tire, but pretty decent all around tire. Will surprise you on how well they could do on ice! The truck is really turning out well! Now I’m interested to see where you go on the original David Truck!!
