Real quick about the allegations… that happened when he was 19. The girl lied about her age and was in a club where you’d reasonably expect to be around people his same age. When he found out she lied the next day, he reported it to the team. He met her in a club, not at like a Starbucks… he was being blackmailed with this information at the beginning of last season, which I believe just fucked him up from the star. If this was about exposing a predator, then you’d take the information to the police, not doxx the girl, putting her out there for the world to see. This seemed more about revenge, than exposing a sexual predator. Give him a chance. Watch his highlights of when OKC put 150 on Boston without Shai. He’s a gamer, can flat out play, but has the hardest year of his life. Dude can hoop, but with the emergence of Jalen Williams, he basically took over Giddey’s ball handling duties when SGA was off the floor. I hope he does well in Chicago,

Bulls needed Caruso to include in a Lavine trade. Makes it even harder to trade Lavine.

As for the picks: (1) we don't know the conditions attached to those picks, (2) how valuable are 2024 draft picks anyway given that the talent is mediocre, (3) OKC is too smart to offer 2025 1st round picks. As for Giddy and his mental state, didn't we just hire a group of really good coaches that could, perhaps, develop a 21 yr. old Giddy into a better shooter and defender. Lastly, in search for an interesting B-Ball experience, screw the Bulls, screw the Sky (a team more like the NBA Bad Boys of Detroit than a WNBA version of the Jordan Bulls of Cheecago). I find more interest in watching Caitlin Clark and the Indian Fever.

I don’t hate trading for Josh Giddey, but not getting any draft picks back for AC makes this a questionable trade for the bulls. They couldn’t even get a pick swap.

The Bulls need to get younger. Derozan is leaving. We could have got a second round pick added to this trade since Godfrey got benched and allegations of sexual misconduct with a minor. And we need two first round pick for Lavine. However I think White just got a good backcourt mate if Giddey plays both sides of the ball.

Dumb trade for the Bulls

This trade is more like Jaylen Brunson for Kyrie Irving. Brunson looks way better on the Knicks but played good for the Mavs. He just needed the ball in his hands more. Now Brunson is an All Star.
