Just a tip for Regenerators: if you aren't using a rifle/using the infinite Sweeper/Handcannon, you can just shoot it repeatedly even without hitting the plaga cores to kill it. It still has a maximum amount of damage it can take albeit it being very high. You can also use this against the Iron Maidens and the Iron Maiden SP. Again, you can skip one quest from prior to Ch7 except for the Dangerous Mutt quest since there is a Blue Medallion 3 quest prior to the castle that gives 5x Spinel. That means you get the Special Upgrade Ticket once you enter the Castle instead of getting it in the Catapults area. Also you can sell the special weapons(especially the Handcannon if you have it) once you use up all of its ammo, and then just buy them back when you have to upgrade them. You probably won't do this with the Sweeper since SMG ammo is accessible from Ch2 while Magnum ammo comes very late. Sweeper's stagger is still SMG-level which makes it amazing for casual/any difficulty runs and it's my own preferred weapon for S+ Pro runs. I can't use it with the Pinstripe though since I press reload too instinctively and it kills me.

Love the guide, ive gotten S+ rank the other difficulties but really needed to nail this one. Also a TIP for those who are stuck between chapter 2 thru 7, if you have 3$ you can buy a golden ticket and it applys to all saves, so you can get infinite ammo Chicago sweeper at chapter 2

Just finished my run in 4:50:47 using this guide. I was nowhere perfect, fumbled a lot of times especially against El Gigante and in the cabin fight and still managed to do it with more than 30 minutes to spare. The reason you keep getting handgun ammo is because the default case sometimes turns drops into handgun ammo drops (indicated by the briefcase next to it on the right hand side of the screen). Switching to a different case would reduce or completely eliminate handgun ammo drops. A

Couple of weeks ago, I used your Guide to "practice" a S+ Run in Hardcore Mode and, yesterday, I finally completed a S+ Run in Professional Mode in about 4h 35 minutes...once again, your Guide HELPDE A LOT and, for Chapters 13 to 16, I kept saying: "I'M ALMOST THERE! I been meaning to do an S+ pro play thru for a year but it just seemed too anxiety inducing to even attempt but I stumbled across this video and originally commented that it makes me want to finally attempt and I'm here to say that I just now got S+ with your guide and wanted to give you a HUGE thank you ! 9 months later and this guide helped me get S+ Rank. And honestly without this guide it likely would of been much much harder. You showed us so many critical tips. Such as I didn't know we could throw grenades at the wall where the crane part is around the end. And that makes the wall break WAY faster. Because if not the crowd gets so messy and large it's super hard but this made it so simple. To be fair it was already hard at times even with the chopper infinite ammo and your guide. I can't imagine no chopper infinite and no guide. Well done. Thanks for the amazing guide!

I was gonna do a sweeper s+ attempt but with your handcannon guide, and when I searched your channel you had just posted one for the sweeper lmao. Just completed it and got my cat ears so thanks! Having used both with infinite ammo gotta say the handcannon felt waaay easier early game, when you get the damage of the sweeper up it melts but at the beginning big groups can take an eternity. Like with the handcannon you just use it as a shotty and run while oneshotting enemies and skipping past them, not really having to stop at all unless you want to, plus you can collat which makes it even more efficient. Novistadors are such a breeze with the sweeper though, maybe that alone makes it better lmao.

There were a couple of times on the village that I for some reason had to clean all the ganados making it way harder for myself for no good reason, and when I would ignore them I would get a lot of damage. This guide helped me a lot identifying all the bits I was doing wrong or more messy. Also the taking a break part was so helpful omg, such and easy thing but when you are so focused and determined to go to the next save you lost track of time. Thank you again!

As I'm not good with aiming with rifle, I chose to go another route using SG-09 with laser sight until i have enough spinels to unlock unlimited ammo on Chicago Sweeper. So, in a way, partially, your guide helped me a lot, esp the later part of the game, thank you so much! Maxing SG-09 could be a way to go for anyone who takes too long to aim with rifle like myself, with laser sight and 5x crits for the exclusive, it can one shot many enemies and lots if time makes quick work of bosses. Like you can kill el gigante with 40+ handgun bullets on SG-09 (max before exclusive) and 2 flash grenades, then for Salazar, basically, he takes a golden egg and a full clip of SG-09 magazine. I'd like to see a guide out there for someone who's not good with aiming like myself someday! 😉

Great video, pal. Managed to get S+ on Professional with 20 minutes to spare using the CS. I skipped the savage mutt request and passed the canon section with 29 spinels. In a way it was fortunate that I died several times to the garador, as I eventually found the 30th spinel in a barrel and then destroyed the garador with the CS. Couldn't have done it without you! Liked and subbed.

Thanks to you my friend I was able to do this extremely difficult achievement. Just to let you know, to all future achievers, I was doing 4 hours before Salazar boss fight. Everything is possible. Just practice and learn the game, you will be fine. The hardest part is Chapter 1 to 6. From then on, just run and run and Chicago the hell out of everyone. Look for skips in the Island. They are hard but they save you the time you loose in the first Chapters where you are vulnerable. Good luck!

For people that find that getting chicago sweeper is too much of a chore, you can just use the handcannon which is much easier to get through merceneries. Then you can either straightaway do pro S+. Or you can do hardcore S+ to get chicken hat, ashley armor and also prep you for pro S+.

Whats crazy is i got S rank using your handcannon guide on new-game plus now im doing S+ with this video and took a break yesterday and did an entire standard run start to finish while listening to this guide and now im at work re watching it to get refreshed and go home and finish the run. Gonna do the last half in one sitting tonight. Im pretty much strictly watched only your guides for like 4 days now and not once have i got bored. Its crazy because your love and enthusiasm for the game make me want to learn more, play more, and get faster and faster at it. I never was into speeding through games like this and thought having to do it for unlocks was a drag and a half. You have opened up my love for it and one day imma do a perfect run with no mistakes. As of currently…….i got 2 heals for Mendez fight cause i messed up hard and saved over the file instead of resetting and saving in a different slot.

Dude I don't know how to thank you enough... I finally finished the S+ Professional run under 5 hours by following your guide!!! I was afraid at first to run this challenge. But, when I saw your guide video, your strategy looks very good and convincing compared to most youtubers. It took me a week to finish this run, I made a few breaks. When I was already stressed out, I continued the next day. Just as you always suggested in the video, take breaks :) In total, I spent around 12 hours playing the game. I found the cabin part was the hardest for me. It literally took me 2+ hours back and forth resetting the game to complete that because I kept dying :') Again, thank you so much for this video guide. I feel like there's a friend besides me throughout the run. Your voice, your tone, your supportive words helped me become confident. I hope your channel grow even larger soon!

Tip for saving a little more time at the Regenerator in the trash pick the pistol e run until you are in front of the bridge. Them faster aim in the zombie close to Ashley shoot him before he catches her, so you cross the bridge while still working than kill the zombies, so you don`t have to mess with the regenerator. It will disappear and you will save a minute or two. The monster will not deal damage on you this way.

*IMPORTANT* if you use the auto save feature for hardcore or standard, it will add the amount of time that has passed since the auto save occured. So if you mess up and use your auto save, it's going to count the time against you no matter what, which really sucks if you're speedrunning.
