He gets to fly around the earth because of the U.S. as the U.S. funded most of the ISS and put together most of said space station. I agree with everything up to your last sentence. Please keep the jingoist nonsense out of what is a great performance.
1lightheaded this post of yours may have been 4 years ago, but I feel like saying something. Chris Hadfield may have not been given a chance to do what he did, if it hadn't been for the United States being available to give him a ride while we were still in our prime before the shutting down of the shuttle program. Thankfully, the Soyuz ended up being available to put this wonderful man back in the International Space Station to continue all he did until his retirement. Yeah though Canadian, Chris Hadfield was and still is a truly remarkable man, one that I'm proud to share the same North American continent amongst thousands if not millions of fans of his worldwide. Maybe you should think twice before you post something like this.
