Inspired by Denis Villeneuve's Dune and the extended works of Hans Zimmer I wrote this piece with that world in mind. I really wanted to play of the fragile world that thrives due to the spice and it's mystery. Composed using the extensive libraries by ‪@spitfireaudiollp‬.
I also wanted a particular sound in there that highlighted the unique world with an echoey shudder in the deep background rippling across the sand (soundscape). After searching and toying around with sounds for hours I could hear a cricket in my garden so I recorded it, slowed it down and played it in reverse with some modulation and it came back with this amazing sound - see if you can pick it out.
