I know they were having a serious conversation and all, but did you SEE the PURE JOY in Charlie's face when he pulled out the sword? wholesome

I'm unsure if this is was intended but as someone with autism i relate a lot to this. having my ignorance or lack of social knowledge taken advantage of, being the butt of jokes you can't understand, is a problem i go through very often. I highly relate to Gillion in this aspect. Our anger is never taken seriously because what caused it was "supposed to be funny" or "just a joke". Gillion is a very autistic coded character and i appreciate that a lot, whether that was the intention or not.

How the fuck did I predict both the reason for this fight and the "A good prank always ends with everyone involved laughing." with both an angry rant about how Chip exploited Gills lack of knowledge of the surface for a good chuckle (when I was on episode 14) and while Chip was saying that it was just a joke I was saying that "it's not a joke if you're the only one laughing."

Ranboo fans who decided to stay, congratulations, you are officially, objectively cooler than anyone else now. You are just rolling with it.

Charlie saying that had the exact same energy as "...and then I reach out my hand." from the flashback scene in the original campaign. I'm rewatching Riptide and just wanted to leave my love for this episode here. This episode was the turning point for me in my love of JRWI. It was the first time I had seen the show take itself seriously and and allowed me in turn to take it more seriously and appreciate it so much more. Bizly, Charlie and Condi did phenomenally and they made the character tensions feel so real. Definitely my favourite episode of Riptide

Chip tells Gill sea lemers can eat gun powder, ship explodes. Chip tells Gill the fire beetles are evil, they have to fight the vengeful swarm. Chip tells Gill smacking balds peoples heads is a greeting, ther get attacked by bald men with razors. I think Gill has a point!

Ok but like.....Gillian is so right. He was straight up taken advantage of and harmed people bc his sense of honor was used against him. And Chip did this all knowing full well what he was doing. And him saying that this is a crew and they should trust him....trust is earned bitch and all he's done is try and screw with people. Also, him saying "Get off my ship" BRO YOU WOULDN'T EVEN HAVE THE SHIP IF GILLIAN DIDN'T MAKE A DEAL WITH THE LITERAL DEVIL DUDE!!! But all in all a great episode!! Love this podcast!!!

easily my favorite episode so far, i was NOT expecting the confrontation but oh man the dialogue was awesome, i want to rewatch this scene over and over again. I'm happy to see Gillion make a stand for his honor, it was super tense, i NEED to see this animated LOL god. we love character development in this house

Wow. A new episode of this campaign. I wonder if it will be peoples' favorite episode? It definitely is incredible, powerful, and moving. Now, on to figuring out the characters' class levels, feats, and other details. I'll be editing this as I watch. Will I ever learn everything about them without spending money on Patreon (which you all should totally do, unless you're broke like me)? Probably not, but I guess I'll JUST HAVE TO ROLL WITH IT!! this episode has just elevated this campaign into something indescribably phenomenal

I think I'm getting used to this being the main campaign - I'll always think of Charlie as Bra'ad, but this is growing on me.

i like this episode a lot, clearly gill is entirely justified in being humiliated for chips ego but we also know that this is a dnd game podcast and bizly did it for the funny soo
