Age of Empires 2 is covering Armenia. Will you be touching on it when it comes out? Never mind the fact that my own mod, Rise of Kings, covers Armenia.

@@GudeaTW: I will be celebrating. I am tired of having Mitanni and Armenian units speak a language that is NOT Armenian. For Kings & Conquerors, they spoke a mix of Greek and Persian. For Rise of Kings, I was forced to use Arabic and French. This has to stop.

⁠@@GudeaTWbeen to Yeghegis this last weekend, I visited before, but briefly, it’s pretty crazy how much ancient stuff is just lying all over the place - you’re driving through the village and there are pieces of medieval khachkars, parts of ornaments of, probably, churches lying all over the place. Also, an open church/altar for blessing mounted troops, almost like a drive-through. Then, drove northwards, towards Gegharkuniq, and visited a late medieval caravanserai. To imagine that such an important military and commercial location was populated, almost solely for probably 200 years, by outsiders is as mind boggling as it is, unfortunately, realistic

I know some, as a historian. But i am still just a highschool teacher, not a military historian. I know "gradska straža/стража/градска стража" which is city/town watch. Bolyars(like in bulgaria), Vlastela(noble cavalry), vlasteličići(lower nobile cavalry), velmože((highest possible nobility, strongest cavalry), they are on council)), pronia(like in byzantine empire), vitezovi (knights), Gusari (literally means pirates, they were light cavalry, when serbs started emigrating to Hungary, this cavalry was used to defend borders against Ottomans, Hungarians called them Husari, and they were the origin of Polish winged hussars many centuries later). Serbian late medieval war tactics mostly included cavalry. In the early era cavalry was also important but not as much(they didn't have money for that), and at the time it was inspired by Avar and later Hungarian cavalry. In the period of Nemanjić dynasties it was inspired by Holy Roman heavy. cavalry. This is just on top of my head, i would like to help with more.

The trouble began the moment Armenians voted for Pashniyan in 2018. Russia wants to punish the Armenians for imagining they could have working infrastructure, socially responsible government and decent power supply ... without needing to ask Bunker Grandpa permission first. As far as Armenia goes, Russia can no longer be trusted. But it's also the same, vice versa: the Kremlin does not want Armenia to ever craft a new functioning democracy that would make Russia look bad and increase brain drain and popular clamour for reform.

I'm interested in what China has to say about it. For one thing China has quite a number of initiatives and projects in Armenia. Plus, China is very annoyed at the Turkish-led's OTN's sniping China over the Xinjiang issue.
