It's being born again in the Holy Spirit and the new tender heart we received from God. I know we wish everybody could feel the most amazing agape love. It saddens me knowing a lot of people will ignore and miss-out including family. Looking forward to our resurrection bodies and the marriage supper of the Lamb. I was telling my husband.... It's hard to explain... I couldn't make up a better version of Jesus in my own mind than this portrayal of Him. Of course, I know he's not Jesus, but he was also made for this role, so I am inclined to believe that Jesus approves of it. It's as close to experiencing the gospels as any of us will ever get. And I was so happily surprised when I saw Jesus Revolution... Jonathan won't be spending his life relegated to Jesus roles. He's a real deal actor. That was a relief to me.... For him and me. Pray for him. I can't imagine the pressure he's under between the fan expectations (people are crazy, even Christians! Lol), the professional expectations, his personal expectations, and the godly expectations. No, he's not Jesus... But he's dealing with different kinds of mobs everywhere he goes. And I'm still stunned that people run up to Jonathan and hug him, saying, "I love you, Jesus!" wow. Just wow. Anyhoo... Sorry for blathering on. I could have just said "l totally agree." ❤❤❤ Bless you all! Thank you so much to the Chosen crew and fans. Love one another!

I agree, it’s something special about Jonathan. Jim Caviezel did an amazing job in the Passion of Christ but Jonathan Roumie hands down, the BEST actor for this role.

I do not want to compare. My Vision is that everyone would feel inspired to 'play' Jesus, as it is a blessing thus to Sense him even more. No matter how 'good' someone might do it. As each of his followers want to become him, trying by 'acting' him is a meditative and creative way to explore what that could mean for me as individual to imitate him.

I've binge-watched several times. you pick up something different each time & learn more about each character & maybe begin to view them differently. Since the Bible doesn't give us back story to many of the disciples...the filler they have provided makes it relatable as to how & why Jesus chose them..
