Hello hannah yes I agree the word of GOD is all we need I never seen this show another RU-vid video I seen this guy explains something's about the actor that plays Christ of what he does getting in the part just like the movie noah when I seen it was way off from the bible in was like something wrong with this movie alot of the movie was just Hollywood putting they're own story of him rather then the bible crazy by the way I know this is off topic nice hair color
One scene that bothered me: Was when Jesus was going to give the Sermon on the Mount, the night before practicing and almost fretting over it, asking his disciple for advice, input. I feel confident that Jesus didn't do that and the only one He would consult with was His Father.
I watched the first and second season and I loved it. But then there were scenes like you mentioned, that made me think. The biggest problem I see, is that you are emotionally involved and I tended to defend the show even though I had this nagging in my mind telling me something wasn't right.
Reading the Bible isn’t hard to understand if you ask God to help you understand… spiritual things are spiritually discerned. This video is very eye opening. Thanks!! May Hod guide us all 🙏
So your eyes must be opened. Many of the thing in your bible is badly translated to change the vision of the real messiah. People think (including Jews) that Yeshua came for creating the Christianity using the passage of Peter, where He supposed to create the church, but the concept is totally different. The original name of Peter is Kefa and Kefa means rock. Yeshua never made a new religion, but used his name with the rocky place called "door of sh'ol (hell)". Kefa (Rock), on that rock I'll edify my CONGREGATION (in greek iglesia that made the term church or in hebrew kehilah קהילה ) and door of sh'ol (the place near them) shall not subsist. These details you won't learn from Christianity. This is why many of you don't understand The Chosen. Of course, I agree with idolatry happening on actors, but, people must separate those things. I usually watch the show after studying to complete what I learned. If I find something different, I know to discern.
@@Bolaway You have no idea what you speaking about...Jesus said pick up your cross and follow me, he also said "I am the way the truth and the light no one gets to the father but through me"...True Christianity as explained to us in the Bible is merely following Jesus the Churches early name was "Followers of the Way or just The Way" as in Book of Acts... What it is today mostly is a religion due to many factors but we are called to follow him in accordance with his word, that is what Yahushua came to do... Chosen is not biblical in its teaching or application
@@Athos_Bound No the reason for numerous churches denominations is because One Church decided they are "The Universal Church" and taught a bunch of non biblical heresies for 100s of years while keeping the bible captive and not allowing other churches. Eventually when they could no longer do this people started reading the bible for themselves and breaking away and creating their own denominations, holding onto alot of the heresies from said universal church but having different teachings and so it went.
I used to think the Bible was hard to understand. But after doing research, buying a concordance, reading often, I realized it was hard to understand because I did not TRY to understand it. Never asked for wisdom to understand it and didn’t care enough to understand it. Now I read KJV and I enjoy reading the Bible. Hallelujah!
The concordance really opens it up… asking God to show you… and then being diligent to seek. Ask and you will receive, knock and the door will be opened 🙏🏼
Nobody in the Bible ever prays to the Holy Spirit. We pray TO the Father, THROUGH the Son, IN the Holy Spirit. We ask the Lord for wisdom, and He will give it, through the ministry of the Holy Spirit and His Word.
Dallas, does this verse from Exodus 20:4 ring a bell? Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Then he says Protestants have gone too far? Whaaaat? Reading and following the Word of God is going too far? Crazy!
@@reginald8947 no not a flaw, just another thing the show gets wrong. He was not attractive. And the best representation of what he looks like as said by someone who has seen Him is the shroud of Turin. Long face very weathered.
I heard someone say if the world loves it, then God probably hates it, years ago and it always stuck with me. so whenever I see the world hyping up something i often think to myself 🤔🤔🤔… something ain’t right with it.. we know the world hates God and everything about him, so why would they love this show so much, if it was really righteous?
@@singingstars5006My dad always used to say, “Just because everyone else is doing it doesn’t make it right.” How right he was. That’s the great flaw of democracy when the majority have been given over to a reprobate mind.
@@Queenweezy much liberty was/has been taken…….I loved the show at first….I was really into it……..until God showed me this was just another rendition of man’s idea of what happened in those days. Don’t get me wrong……Jonathan was/is an excellent actor; they all are; Dallas has worked very hard on this with best intentions but I think many may have moved beyond the fact that Roumi along with the others were/are just actors. They all were outstanding actors. The casting was perfect. My problem is that I realized I was guilty of seeing the gospel being played out according to man’s IDEA of ‘how it really was’. I fell in love with Nicodemus when he knelt before Roumi…..(Jesus)…….and I loved Matthew…….that too was changed a bit. Jonathan Roumi has become a household name. Yes, I donated/paid it forward……so I participated in this ruse….while it was a very good one…..and am assuming it remains so. I’ve not followed it. I quit cold Turkey. My prayer at this point is that the counted 10s of 1000s that have reportedly been saved as a result of this production, know the difference. Upon that moment of enlightenment, for any individual who experiences surrender……I pray it was totally 100% for Yeshua/Jesus and not Jonathon Roumi……an imposter……a great actor and honest humility, I pray…..yet, an acting imposter. In that, where does the ‘heart lieth’?
Thank you for posting this. It validated the feeling I was getting when watching season 3 of the show. Now looking back, it was the Holy Spirit nudging me and telling me that something was off about where the show is trying to lead people. I really promoted this show to everyone when I first watched it. We truly must be careful and vigilant in studying God’s Word to not be deceived. Thank you again for creating this video.
There will be many that come in his name, but all will be wolves in Sheep's clothing. Btw the LBS is a cult organization & they have rituals and witchcraft inside practices as well. They are not to be affiliated with or trusted in any way. And we all know the Catholic doctrine is corrupt and non biblical. Stick to the King James version ,and live a life with Jesus Christ in it. You shall be 100% prosperous all the days of your life.
I loved this series! How it brought the bible alive & how each character was depicted. I even donated money towards the chosen during the pandemic. However this affirms the niggling, nagging feeling I had with certain scenes. As Martin Luther said "Sola Scriptura". Yes the book IS better. THANK YOU for sharing this & opening my eyes.
Praise the LORD! Thank you so much for this encouraging testimony. This was a tough one for us to cover because we knew it would be controversial, but surprisingly the majority of the feedback has been in agreement with what we are showing. We got more pushback on the Mario movie honestly.
Someone recommended this show to us being so good that I even had my kids watching with me the 1st episode, and we didn't even finish that one, we immediately felt something wrong, I felt something tugging at my heart making me to stop watching it, even my kids, especially my eldest who loved reading his bible turned away from the show. We never tried watching again, it was 😬
I never watched the show though it was recommended to me by some friends but my spirit wouldn’t give me the desire to watch it and when I hear what these actors are saying I thank God that I didn’t waste my time to watch it. Thank you for the analysis and the researches🙏🏻
@@MichaelMckamieHunger4truth I don't like the idea that this shows Jesus' flaws. I don't believe Christ had flaws. He was tempted but never sinned. This show seems to be leading people astray. I don't believe Jesus had to ask Matthew for help with the Sermon on the Mount. Didn't the Bible say, In the beginning was the Word and I am the Word?
One thing for sure we need to be careful because somewhere in revelation it says do not add or take from the word of God. So I don't really watch the chosen for that reason. It's a serious warning.
Dallas already said from the beginning THE CHOSEN IS NOT SCRIPTURE, But a TV Show, how can he and his team add a word to the scripture? lol i just cant understand how you jump to that conclusion.
@heatherlynn3438 So true! Thanks for posting! I think we all forget how crafty and deceptive the deceiver is and how can appear as this harmless, holy appearing angel of light. The name of the studios is Angel. Great call!
And Satan tries to corrupt and copy what God does. So this may have started out with the best of intentions , but it looks like it has been corrupted by Satan. We were warned that there would be false Christs , false prophets, those that lead Christians astray .
@@teresahiggs4896 Excellent post as it will help encourage others. I've already been told I'm too extreme. Well I used to be in the "world" and watch any movies I wanted and listened to all kinds of music (if it sounded good I engaged) and I used to curse and just went to church to basically cross it off my list and then I eventually stopped going. I'm so grateful our loving Father could pull someone like ME out of the dirt and help me change. I struggle with a lot and the enemy never stops in his attempts to deceive anyone but especially a Christian. Sorry for the rant but thank you for the message.
I showed my friend many things about the Chosen and thought he would at least consider the things that go against the Bible. He has decided to continue to defend and recommend that show. He has ignored Jonathan praying to the dead, mixing with unbelievers and now the LGBTQ flag. I’m not sure what it will take for him to see the truth.
@@azmgbbbI had a friend in the same position. She is adamant that about the Chosen and completely taken in by it. She is a RC. Her continual accusation to me was that I couldn’t judge it if I hadn’t watched it. (I have seen loads of excerpts and listened to numerous critiques of it and that has been enough). My answer to her was that you do not have to read the so-called holy book of the religion of piece(s) to know that it is false and evil, and you do not have to drink out of a bottle marked “poison” to know that it will harm you. My rebuttals all fell on deaf ears. All you can do for these people who won’t listen to reason, is to pray for them. Only the Lord can open their eyes from the inside.
Phenomenal job seriously I’ve been very conflicted continuing any of this show…. Now I know why it felt so wrong to watch instead of reading. I repent for even watching it now.
Wow, hearing Phil Robertson say, "I learned from The Chosen that seeing something is far more powerful than reading something, reading about something.", as he thumbs through his Bible without looking at it. I thought that man had more discernment and this grieves my heart to hear him say that.
The more I think about this, the more it bothers me. He's basically denying the power of the Holy Spirit to light his path and relying on a handful of men with their own ideas to convey their interpretation and agenda instead. It's no different than people relying on RU-vid prophets for their daily bread.
Obviously, seeing and experiencing something in real life is far more impactful than reading about it after the fact. Those that witnessed Jesus and saw all the miracles He did, and especially those that witnessed His resurrection had an experience that you and I don’t. The problem with any movie or TV show is that it’s all just actors pretending, and it’s all just an RGB screen. You’re not actually experiencing anything, just pixels on a screen that give a visual representation of what something was like. It’s very dangerous for people to get caught on a visual representation of Jesus, especially when the actor is of a false religion (Roman Catholic), and in their hearts start to worship a false image, rather than the real Son of God who is in heaven by the Father’s right hand. Don’t worry though. When Jesus returns, we will experience Him like we never have before and it will blow away our experiences of reading the Bible. But Bible reading is still super important and it’s our best avenue to learn and experience our Creator on Earth right now.
@@FlyTour69 I agree with you. Until that day, I would rather the Holy Spirit guide me with interpreting scripture than trust another sinner to get it right. Jonathan Roumie also channels the dead for his roles and his recent ad for a meditation app seems to showcase eastern mysticism and new age with the yoga poses he makes etc. I understand that many people say that this series has brought them closer to Jesus, but which one? satan's M.O. is to take the truth and add little lies here and there and sadly it sells because it's close enough right? Wrong. Now there is even talk about AI writing a new Bible for mankind that many have said would be attract and be accepted by Christians. Too much creative liberty is very dangerous and the difference is that the REAL Bible is inspired by God Himself. Anyone that adds or takes away from His Word will have to answer to Him. In Matthew, Jesus said, "But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
Excellent work as usual! The Chosen is a lie that many are buying into because, as one of the producers said "seeing is better than reading", forgetting that the bible says that blessed are those who believe without seeing. Kendi crushed this at the end: the book is better. Amen to that!!
Paul wrote to the church at Corinth that “we walk by faith and not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7). Jesus stated, “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed” (John 20:29).
Wow…just wow this is sad…”As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be again”. The days are upon us where “the very elect shall be deceived”. Help Jesus, in the Mighty Name of Jesus! ❤
"if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. " "If it were possible" basically means it is NOT possible. But yeah we are getting to that point.
@@V67Snick happy Saturday! Not being combative, but that’s a translational misconception. We have seen the very elect be deceived throughout the entire Bible. Another translation reads “For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” Matthew 24:24 NIV which indicates that it is a possibility because of choice. Moses was deceived when he hit the rock. David was deceived when he slept with Bathsheba. Peter was deceived when he denied Jesus. “If it were possible” does not indicate an impossibility, it indicates choice. God bless!
I was so happy with this video. Thank you so much for the clarification about this series. Two people told me they were really enjoying it. I tried to watch but I couldn't get past the first episode. we need the Holy Spirit, the wisdom of God not to fall into deception.

Great post and when I saw one of his pictures on the web he was wearing to skull rings. Why would a Christian wear skull rings and why would I watch a show with an actor who engages in necromancy and worships idols and now promoting meditation with HIS app? God bless you!

@@th3unmaker you clearly don't understand the comment the original comment is making. It's sarcasm in a sense but also they are explaining who the 'Jesus' the 'elites' are trying to portray. Pilgrim's process isn't saying it's an ecumenical Jesus in a good way or sincere way. You're one of those people who doesn't read what other people say very closely because your whole gig is to write what you want to write like other people should care more about what you have to say. Your comment is so far out of context. Jesus is willing to accept all that receive him and do as he says. The lost sheep of Israel are anyone lost in this world and not knowing the absolute truth of the Word of Jesus. Jesus is the most ecumenical leader if all time but only if it's in the name of the Father. Matthew 24:14 is literally oukoumene. Matthew 10:6 go to the lost house of the children if Israel is oikos meaning house or family. Jesus is very ecumenical but man creates a false ecumenism. Don't let other men's false teachings cause you to miss real teachings out of pure spite.
Why does the Chosen succeed? "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables." 2 Timothy 3-4
I was into the chosen for the first 2 series as a new Christian but kept feeling like entertainment brought me away from reading my Bible. I got rid of the chosen because the Bible is the closest thing we have to God talking to us, so I should focus on that and not let my emotions lead me as that's what the chosen does. Also if I'm watching a show, I'm not producing fruit for the Lord.
@@sxbbyxlt There is nothing healthy here. We need to become like the men and women in the Bible that studied the Bible for themselves to make sure what they were being told was truth. We need to do the same thing. The Holy Spirit does need a gateway for us to learn truth. Let’s remain faithful to God’s Word.
This video is well done and so important: do not be deceived - and I had to direct the Lord's words to myself. I want the real Jesus Christ, not a false copy, or demonically inspired one. Praise God for His Word.
How can they say that the differences doesn't matter. The smallest difference can make ALL the difference. Even as much as the smallest comma. Look at that guy talking about the rosary when he draws the cross upside down. I can just call out, “OPEN YOUR EYES AND MIND” and study for yourself. Catholicism deceptions is all over this film.
Sadly all the virtue Christian’ing isn’t going to get it done either. It’s clear from the comments that the Christian crowd is loud and vocal in these comments: and wrong. 😢 ““I have come in My Father’s Name and you do not receive Me, if another comes in his own name, him you would receive.” (John 5:43) Sadly, you don’t even know, let alone understand the names of our creator and his son. Therefore scripture like that is lost on you. 😢
I’ve gotten recommended the show SEVERAL times by friends and even told them I’d consider putting time aside for it but after watching your video, I can see how God shielded me from this deception. The Holy Spirit didn’t give me the desire to watch the series really or I’d forget about it (and I know the difference because I’d come across vids on my YT timeline where I sense the Spirit pressing me to watch it). So I praise God 🙌 for LLS and this analysis🔥
I cannot thank you enough for making this. I saw a few years ago that the guy playing “John” was making a satanic movie and heavily promoting it on IG and FB and it blew my mind! Then at the same time I started looking into the guy who plays “Jesus” and saw all the stuff that looked like he was a Jesuit!!! 🤯🤯😤 I started telling friends and some got it but most thought I was going a little to overboard because I didn’t have ALL the proof! Now I do and I pray that their eyes are open and see that this show (though I LOVED it in the beginning) is a snare and I believe one of the tricks of the enemy to lead astray even the elect. Praying for eyes and ears to be open and hearts to be changed.
Matthew 24:4-5 CSB 4 Jesus replied to them, “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and they will deceive many. This is exactly what comes to mind in these latter days.
I watched the first episode and was so touched by it that I added the show to my watchlist for later. I had no clue the creator, producers, and actors had LSD and Masonic connections. I’m so happy that I saw this episode before I continued watching. Thank God for LED! I’m not a babe in Christ, but I’m not yet fully matured in the Word either. I used to think so many things were harmless/acceptable until I found this channel. I didn’t understand the spiritual dangers of worldly things.
I'd encourage you to keep on watching it. It has profoundly impacted my life and brought me closer to Jesus, not Satan. I am very versed in Masonic symbolism in hollywood movies. Often my parents would want to watch a "Christian movie" and they would expect me to love it, but I would have to say "nope, sorry, there were a LOT of really problematic things in that! It was so unbiblical!" BUT, I don't think we're supposed to just cower in fear and avoid things like this, especially media about Jesus. We can avoid things like Horror movies or movies with a lot of gore and sex and drugs in them... but something about Jesus? I think it's our JOB as Christians to watch a show like this, put our critical thinking hats on, and assess whether or not it lines up with the PERSON that we KNOW; then compare it with scripture. ChynaaStarr, you have a BEAUTIFUL mind that God made capable of immense critical thinking. I'd say watch the show and read the scriptures for yourself that the show acts out. I know I'm just a random guy on the internet, but I just know how much this show helped me in my walk with Jesus. We don't need to be afraid of these things if we really know our bibles and KNOW Jesus our king!
@@mateusbandeira9017 It is, I agree with you! Better to base your life on the book. But I do really enjoy The Chronicles of Narnia, and Screwtape Letters which C.S. Lewis wrote as media based off of the bible and Christian living, and so I read it and I'm extremely uplifted by the spiritual truths he puts in his books, even though sometimes I don't Always agree with Lewis either. I think it's the same with The Chosen. It's ok to read or watch materials that are not the Bible itself, I don't think it makes the bible any less important. On the contrary, when I read other books or watch movies, a lot of the time I go "Hey that's something that's in the bible!" His truths are clearly seen and demonstrated in the world around us and it's ok for us to look at them. That's how I feel about The Chosen. It's always getting me to open up the book and check what actually happened, and sometimes it really does help me view people in the bible more as actual people than I did before.
I watched the first 3 seasons and fully supported it. But I think there are too many inaccurate portrayals creeping in, and what Dallas did this year in support of LGBTQ while attacking his supporters just did it for me. I shut off the show for good. I would caution you to pray about it before you decide to continue watching. I'm sad to say this; it had the potential to make a great impact to spread the Gospel. But it's going in a bad way now. 😢 God bless you with wisdom, joy, and peace! 🤗✝️🏃🏻♀️
@@user-bv1ss5nj9b I don't think it's fair at all to say that Dallas did anything "in support of LGBTQ". One of the secular workers, who is a paid professional, had a flag on his personal equipment. It's a very big mental jump to assume that someone is, by extension, gay affirming. He has stated this so many many many times. In the world, not of the world. Dallas is in the world, making a show about Jesus, trying his best to also be like Jesus, who himself was often surrounded by prostitutes and sinners. We don't think this means Jesus was in support of those things, do we? And I'm not equating Dallas with Jesus, but as followers of Jesus, we are meant to emulate him. I don't think that one crew worker with a flag was in Dallas's "inner circle". Please. dear Christians, Please see that there are so many hurting souls in this world. We NEED to be around them, loving them like Jesus would. The primary people Jesus verbally accused were the legalistic ones within the church, because they have HIS rule book and should know better. The outside world doesn't know better. We need to love them and be an example in word, in conduct, in faith, in love, and in purity. Forcing someone to take off a banner that they identify with because YOU don't agree with it is not how to do that, I don't think. If you, personally, YOU, see something in your life that is a stumbling block for someone else, then YOU change it, but we can't expect everyone else to do the same. 70x70. We need to love others even when they don't reciprocate or change their behaviors. I'm praying someone reads this comment and feels a stirring in their spirit. This is a beautiful show. It's changing lives left and right. It's changed mine. Stop shunning people when they make a mistake or jump at the First Tiny thing to discredit them. That is NOT grace. I know most of you will probably argue with his, and I understand why. There is so much to argue. I just pray that you can think about the things I've said and take a breath before you respond. "slow to anger... abounding in steadfast love." "For the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, and do not quarrel over opinions." Let us live like this, guys.
This is so interesting. I started watching this just like everybody else thinking it was going to be a great show. I never enjoyed it like i thought i would. The other interesting thing was that my daughter, at 18 months-2 years, kept telling me that the intro and the programme was scary. I didn't understand what she meant by it until now, after watching this.
Honestly The Chosen has made me want to read the Bible more and opened my eyes to see Jesus and the disciples differently. I only saw them as these saints but never as human beings like me. I only saw Jesus as God but never thought of His humanity and how relatable He can be to me and how I have no excuse to say you don't understand. I'm glad and grateful for this show. God has spoken to me through it and even answered a question that's been lingering my whole life which I just broke down crying and thanked Jesus for finally receiving an answer. Please use updated stuff and when it comes to Lonnie read his autobiography and testimony of close friends that are still alive and faithfully serving the Lord. The same way grace is shown to me I have to show it because this was wrong. God bless you all.
I feel the same way. I can see where people are coming from with the concern obviously, but for me it really has made reading the gospels more interesting to read, understanding things like Jewish tradition, Rome, how things got tense and escalated to His crucifixion, the real-ness of the disciples, how they had lots of questions and didn't really understand Jesus's mission, etc. I personally was able to apply multiple things in the show to my own walk with Christ, especially obedience (even when you dont want to) and the last episode of season 3 really brought Psalm 77 to life. I enjoy reading Psalms much more now thanks to the chosen. Sure, its not perfect, but I don't really see it as dangerous right now. What does bother me is people who watch this and dont read their bible, thinking that is feeding them. It's definitely not, and we should be much more wrapped up in the word then a show. But its pretty solid in my opinion.
God can also use something NOT so good for his purpose. Personally i stay away from the Chosen, because i am not yet very educated in the bible, so i don't want to be influenced by an alternate version of Jesus that is not real. I'd rather watch something else even, because it does not distort the bible for me.
That should have been my sign about the show. I kept hearing about it and decided to watch. Went to my sister's house around that time and she was watching it. Then I later learned more about it and stopped. I was actually happy about the popularity at the time, but now I'm getting a clearer picture of why that is.
I’ve been going to a neighbor/friends house for a local Bible study. Sure enough, it quickly morphed in to a Chosen viewing session. Complete with printed out talking points from the episode we just watched. I really missed being able to get in to the word. I was already a little skeptical of the show. After watching, I knew it was not doing anyone any favors. I ended up voicing my concerns. Nobody agreed with me, saying it may not be perfect but it’s bringing so many people to Christ. But it’s not, as you guys have done such an effective job at pointing out. It’s really poison. Now, I’m not sure if I should continue to go over or not. They are all very kind and profess to love Christ. I feel like if I stop going I’ll alienate myself and create a divide. I know what Jesus tells us about that too. I will choose him. The truth, over anything. Hopefully I can figure out the best way to handle things. Maybe start by sharing your video. Thanks again for your work.
You write, "Now, I’m not sure if I should continue to go over or not." The Bible is clear, "Be not unequally yoked. with unbelievers, ..." 2Cor. 6:14 Your association with them brings you into fellowship with those who do not believe in the real Christ but the Christ made of a man's imagination and bolstered by people involved in things that are linked with the enemy of souls.

I remember, my church presenting this video in one of its meetings. Thank you Little Light Studios. You are awesome. I am most definitely going to share this awakening with family and friends. It is important to understand that the Bible is the Word of God and that we must be alert to the deception of TV shows and Movies with false doctrine. This show (The Chosen) has not yet aried in South Africa, but to know about it, I am now able to caution family and friends of the false message of this show and to try and warn them about the way Jesus is being portrayed. Thank You
I'm so glad y'all made this video. It confirms what I think about The Chosen.. I have trouble watching it because it departs from scripture too much. Thank you and God bless your ministry.
Thank you for your well done exposé of the series. Something was not sitting right with me, but I never watched enough of it with concentration to catch all the ungodly biases. May Jesus Christ bless you, and be glorified!
Thank y'all for putting this together. I know so many who love that show and I have been leary of it since it became super popular. I've only watched the first episode and was kinda weirded out by it. I didnt see anything really fantastic about it and never watched it again. . I just shared this video on my Facebook feed. Hopefully people will watch this and be made aware of the error in this show! God bless! ❤ I love your channel.
The chosen is Jesuit theatre, thank you for this I started watching it and I notice things that weren't just right or in the Bible so I stoped watching it I been waiting for u guys to do this video thank you God bless 😊
This was one of the most well put together videos on the chosen. I am so glad you guys made this video. I once loved the chosen until the 2nd season came out, and there was so much confusion instead of clarity . After research, I found a lot of the things mentioned in this video and never watched them again. The Lord put it on my heart that there were unbiblical ideas in this show, I think the scene that made me the most uncomfortable was when they portrayed preparing for his sermon on the mount with Matthew and he was nervous and consulting his disciple on what to say. I also don't like the way they portray Jesus to be so aloof and sarcastic most of the time. There was also a scene where they had Jesus make a joke about someone's sin while they were eating, and he said, "too soon." Jesus would never do that. The whole show is awful. Again, thanks for the video, guys! You nailed it
I'm not gonna lie I laughed at that I have a humor which now i definitely understood what your saying Jesus wouldn't treat sin this way because we know sin is what departs us from God much love an respect for your understanding 🙏
Thank you, thank you, thank you for doing this. Very eye opening! Team LED, you are all awesome and appreciated so much for what you do! Keep up the good fight of faith! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Maybe you could try again by listening to some commentaries that provide a positive and well deserved light on the series. I find that these gentlemen are crudely misinterpreting scripture, beliefs and intentions. This is NOT a good nor accurate commentary.
Isaiah 8:20 is so important in light of this issue!! To the law, and to the testimony, if they speak not according to these things , there is no light in them!! May God help those who have learned the truths is God's Holy Bible, so they are not deceived!! The Holy Spirit is able to save us from sin, because of what Jesus did , and does for us! Thanks for sharing the Bible light!!
I’ve watched all three seasons, as I enjoy the glimpse into the culture of the time, and noticed many errors scattered throughout. You all caught more than I did, though. The fact that it’s a film is dangerous on its own, because as you said, it impacts what people think of Jesus. You can more easily ignore subtle errors when they’re written than you can when you’re watching something. Good information. I didn’t know Jonathan Roumie was a Knights Templar, although I could see where things were going with him promoting the Halo app. I could see it trending towards the false revival, as well. Now is the time to keep our eyes fixed on the real Jesus and to be ready for His coming.
@@statutesofthelord I wouldn’t watch it, now. Perhaps I should have clarified that. It was in the last episode of the third season that I saw some things that convinced me that I can’t watch it, anymore. Thank you for your concern. :-)
@@christinelockwood3497 Christine, what I'm trying to say, is that if you were deep in the Holy Bible, you would have seen from the very first episode in the first season that this series is not giving glory to God, as there are things diametrically opposed to the words of God. I do praise God that you finally woke up, and am just calling on you to spend more time with Jesus, more time in his Word. God bless you abundantly as you do so.
@@statutesofthelord Please don’t make assumptions about my relationship with God. That is not what God calls us to do. I saw things from the very beginning. But I appreciate your concern.
I watched the Chosen- its filled with emotionalism and moved me to tears. Watching series after another....it became addictive! Then I was moved by the Holy Spirit began to prompt me to dig deeper onto the producers of the show...that led to Latter Day Saints/Morons and RC connections. This prevading the minds of the Remnant... SPIRITUALISM! When we watch these things this dampens...kills the from frontal lobe! Entertainment...ENTER....IN....ME. This preparation for the false Christ/satan appearing upon the earth. The formation of the daughters of the harlot coming together to push the agenda of the end time. We need to be VIGILANT... We can be drawn into the darkness... WE LOVE THE SAME JESUS..... Dangerous thinking? This is getting the world ready for the greatest showdown... Unification of the daughters of the fallen churches...
We should not use the chosen as a Biblical platform. We consider it a " Show " nothing more. My Family and I watch the episode, then break out our Bibles. We discuss the content matter and go from there. But nothing, nothing absolutely NOTHING should take the place of God's Word. I'm not an apologist for anyone or anything, but we need to be careful that we ( SDA ) are not doing the same thing. There are quite a few compromises going around in our circles. Lord help me to be part of the solution. NOTE: I rather watch it then the other garbage on " The Trap Set "....
Personally, this type of show is more problematic to me than any other kind of content, including satanic death metal. It's insidious, and will replace and combine itself with your memory about the actual words of the Bible. At least satanic (black) metal is a wolf in wolf's clothing.
Yes, I agree with you. We need to check with The Bible on everything that has to do with religion. Again it's a show like any other. I use it as a tool. Is this what The Bible says? It's allowed me to talk with others about what scripture really says and what it doesn't. I do not recommend it for those that know not The Bible.
@@franktorres9373 It's your choice, but know you are exposing your family to the works of the Satanic cult who run this world, and in particular the Jesuit faction, who are committed to destroying the deity of Jesus.
Have you every saw a movie that was orginally a book? And then read the book after seeing the movie? And then afterward, when you thought of that book , it was the images and words from the move that came into your mind first. And maybe you even liked the movie version better for whatever reason, and thought of the movie version as the correct and best version. Seeing the movie can imprint those messages and images on our minds as the “ right or correct” images. Visual images are very powerful and impact our minds more profoundly than written images or thoughts do. In addition, some people are “,visually oriented people “ . ( For example, Artists are visually oriented people.) And these people understand , remember and learn by seeing, not by reading the written word. So this show can seriously and irrevocablely imprint on a visually oriented persons mind. Or really anyones mind . …... So that this visual image is the correct one when this subject is thought about. And if the image is a flawed version, an incorrect image or if the visual images are deliberately slanted by the show makers to portray the particular version of Jesus that is believed in by the LDS or Catholic, than that’s a problem. Not all Christian’s believe in the same Jesus. The problems with this show is it is sneaky , subtle and insidious, very much like what Satan does every day. This makes it more difficult to dicern and sewerage out the Biblical Jesus from the Jesus that the LDS and Catholics believe in. And the Bible tells us to be discerning about what we believe. Because there will be many false Jesus, many false prophets and teachers that lead people away from Christ and muddy the message of Jesus. We are warned of this time and time again. And yet, look at all tell, the denominations and sects within Christianity, all the splits and divisions. There are about 300 denominations of Christianity worldwide, . That’s shocking and appalling that the Church, the body of Christ has become so divided! And how can there be so much division, so many interpretations of what is the same Bible, the same Jesus, and the same message ? I know people want to know more about Jesus life, they are hungry to know more , hear more. Bit I believe that if God thought it was necessary or even helpful for us ,that if it would make more people accept Jesus and his gift of salvation, then He would have allowed more of Jesus life to be recorded ……But He didnt. And that’s is telling in of itself. Maybe he thought we would get to wrapped up in details that had nothing to do with the reason Jesus came to earth, to be that perfect sacrifice. Maybe God thought that what is in the Bible , the words of Jesus that were recorded , are just enough, not too much ( for us to get lost in or misunderstand) and not too little ( that we wouldn’t understand the message , or that something necessary would be left out)
How about not watch shows at all? Is it edifying? It's acting it's not real. Have you watched this video? The guy who plays Jesus practices necromancy. When my husband and I submitted to God, we stopped watching tv altogether, we only listen to and watch things that are edifying now.
Search for "the chosen exposen", "a critique of the chosen" by Ithink Biblically and "clips exposing the chosen" by the [counterfeit] chosen, all here on yt. A lot of info. This show is ecumenical, unbiblical and downright blasphemous.
@@juliemann2419 evil? Right this posted trash is the only thing evil! Watching a version of Christ and his apostles is not evil that’s like saying if I read the NSV vs kjv it’s evil with different interpretations nothing wrong with that Henery one on this planet has a past doesn’t mean they can’t change don’t take away the atonement for people let God judge. Be honest with yourself this is exactly what the scriptures refer to as turning good to evil thank you for proving that a scripture again.
It was birthed out of Mormonism and Catholicism. Never watched had no desire to. Another emotional trap to keep you confused. That's not the way of our Most High Elohim
@@td6259 You're absolutely right! Someone told me about this amazing series called the Chosen and how I needed to watch it and blah blah blah. So I put on the first episode and it was not sitting right with me and the part in the red quarter is where I turned it off and then my husband said his friend suggested we give the series a chance and watch. I reluctantly said okay. So we watched and became engaged and the music really drew my husband in as he is a guitar/musician. Music is so powerful - crazy how it can make you feel/act. Then we continued watching and I said why is the Matthew character acting like a savant? We rationalized it as the producers/directors creative way of depicting the characters. We should have just shut it off. It was very strange but I wound up buying series 1 and watched all of 2. Even our church put on a movie night. Thanks for your post.
@@sallyruss4574 how did Matthew act like a savant? I had a similar feeling but it was addictive then I got busy, then I could not find it on RU-vid then I tried to watch it again and I listened to the voice... not good
Thank you for this. It is worth knowing that Dallas Jenkins father wrote the Left Behind series of books. He was raised in a family that made up fictionalized stories about the Bible.
Thanks for this video. Everyone I know has been praising this show People from different faiths and beliefs all seem to love it. I could not even get through one episode. It made me uncomfortable how many liberties were being taken adding details to God's words. While I understand fleshing out a story for visual storytelling, the making up of details to that extent seriously bothered me. It is a comfort to know I am not alone in questioning this show.
I love the Chosen.. It shows Jesus as a normal person but with reserve n doing His father’s work with 12 people who were everyday people chosen by Jesus.. Love it !! Love it!!!!!😊 🙏💯
I was so shocked to learn all of these shocking things about The Chosen and The Jesus Revolution. I watched both of them (just a few episodes of The Chosen though). I would never have thought that things would come down to this....
Thank you for this. I've been worried it couldn't be good because it is just so popular, but haven't been convinced until seeing Roumie in these clips. I'm saddened, I wanted so much to cheer it on. But I want to honor His Word and His Son more by far.
I don't watch anything biblical given by film. I automatically know that it will not be accurate and have some kind of slant to it. Agree read the book, its always better.
I haven't settled on a solid opinion of The Chosen either way. It's been a hard one. There are things I love about it, and things that I'm leery of. While I haven't seen anything overtly heretical in any of the seasons of The Chosen thus far, I am very bothered by some of the things Dallas has said and the poor choices their team has made in regard to advertising campaigns, i.e. putting up billboards where Satan is telling people not to watch The Chosen. I'm saddened by the fact that Jonathan Roumie is a Catholic and thus he seems to add legitimacy to Catholicism as a religion. I'm not, however, bothered by the fact that non-Christians are involved with production or distribution of The Chosen anymore than I'd be disturbed by a non-Christian printing T-shirts for my Christian T-shirt company. It doesn't mean that their doctrine is infiltrating the show anymore than it means my T-shirts would be "tainted". I dunno. The jury is still out for me.
I feel the same, but more leery now that I know more about the character portraying Jesus. After watching the first episode, I was so moved to want to know the real Jesus better! Many scenes are beautiful and thought-provoking. But I think it should be viewed with a guard on our minds, and most people are not going to do that. Most people will become fans, become emotionally attached, and whatever the show promotes will March into their brains unchallenged. We’ll see where it leads.
If satan wore a red suit and carried a pitchfork most wouldn't follow him or listen to him. The very fact that there is good in the show along with bad is why it is so poisonous. Scripture even warns that satan appears as an angel of light. Scripture also warns us to flee the very APPEARANCE of evil.
@@AlinaTowers Yes, I completely agree about people casting all discernment to the wind once their emotions are stirred. I tell my husband that we always have to think with the lowest common denominator in mind, which is going to be the weak and the unwise. The strong and the wise are going to know how to filter what they see and hear whereas the former group is not. I don't like people insinuating that the Bible was boring to them prior to The Chosen and that it made them love Jesus more; if the Word of God itself is not enough to make you love Jesus, that doesn't sit well with me.
Thank you LED. This is a very important and timely video. Very eye opening. It is time to fortify our minds with the truth of the Bible and ask God for a love for the truth.
What a BLESSINGGGG. The witness to and speaking of the Gospel of Christ unto Salvation was excellently expressed and spelled out here. EXCELLENT!!... May God continue to bless and keep you all and your ministry to the world. 🥰🥰🥰
Let’s not forget how they love and promote the pagan practice of Halloween. They posted picture of staff dressing up and happily commenting on Christian’s dressing up like zombies.
The whole dressing like Satan and demons to make fun of the chosen to gain viewers is what turned me away. I think it was the "The Chosen is Not Good" campaign.
@@SunnyHippy I walked away from the chosen for a year when that happened. When I heard season 3 had been released I gave in and watched it. I have actually watched each season several times. I've "paid it forward." I bought their merch, I have the first 2 seasons on dvd and I shared them on social media all the time. This current pride flag, which I feel they flaunted at us in the promo video (at the start of "pride month" no less), and then them coming at us like rabid dogs (dallas and several male cast members) when we $upporter$/fans asked "why" has me again walking away. I deleted apps and I unfollowed them. I am beyond disappointed and I'm done. Much of what was talked about in this video has bothered me along the way but I pushed it down. I can no longer do that.
I absolutely love the Chosen because of this show I am praying reading more the bible day. I want to get to know Jesus so much more. Dallas mentions that this is NOT accuarte and you should read your bible. My boyfriend doing the same and sister and many more people i know. So DALLAS thank you cant wait for season 4 ❤
THANK YOU!!!! I was looking for a TRUTH TELLING Channel reguarding this exact subject and you covered everything incredibly with scriptures and exposing the enemies lies. It is so difficult to find bible truth seekers, pick up your cross daily followers of the ONLY JESUS CHRIST OUR BLESSED SAVIOR. Bless you brother. May God continue to use you to expose Satans lies.
I've tried to warn peeps of this. The heartbreaking part is that if peeps would simply read their scriptures, they would have discernment on the 1st episode. It shows that peeps may have went through the motion of water baptism, but completely ignored the baptism of the holy spirit. No discernment, no heart after God, no plumline of truth,, no humbleness for correction. It used to make me upset, but now understanding the season, its breaks my heart for those who refuse to hear his voice. Thank you guys for giving us something to share!❤
That's because every time a Catholic makes the sign of the cross on their body, it is an upsidedown cross. There are upsidedown crosses all over the Vatican, the "thrones" he sits on, etc. I have never watched the Hallow app - but I find it interesting, being that Jonathan Roumie is a huge part of it, that they would "trace" it as you said - or maybe it was something I missed and they did it just for the purpose of this video - but anyway, I had given a word from the LORD to Jonathan a couple of years ago and drew a crude picture of how Catholics make an upside down cross upon their body.
This was so good and SO well done 🔥🔥I wish there was a way to download this to a DVD so I could show this to the ladies that come to our prison Bible studies, every one of them watches The Chosen and they love it.
The best dissected, informative and one of the greatest videos I have seen in your channel. Truly the holy spirit is at work in your ministry. I always felt the chosen franchise was inferious and I felt opposed to it so I never bothered to watch it but now I understand why. Thanks to Yeshua. Good job guys.
