@@mikejohnson2173 Yes, I am a disciple as those 2,000 years ago in The Gospels of The Lord Jesus Christ, nonprofit ministry. Today is Pentecost a huge main holiday/date of the church, the giving of The Holy Ghost (baptism) as all who received it 2,000 years ago were as flames of fire going out into the world witnessing and testifying of the resurrection the 3rd day. I agree with we tend to put labels on things, and the name' Christianity' is one of them. Jesus did not come to make a new religion, it was believers in Antioch who 'potentially' called it that in their somewhat narcissistic (relative to today's standards) pagan idol god worship and passed down philosophical traditions. In Truth, Christ is is creating a new Generation of those whom have received Him and the Holy Spirit (The Spirit of Truth). he now is the Life Giving Spirit of Eternal nature. Buddha doesn't even come close. he was a common man who is dead and was an atheist. Christ Lives always has been and forever, He never was not. Christianity or the potential for it from God's Perspective has ALWAYS EXISTED as Christ always Is so it can't possibly be any age at all; it is man who is young in understanding what GOD has been doing all along throughout the world, but it took the Holy Spirit and The Life Giving spirit for true Enlightenment to bring that Reality to fulfillment in 'The Body of Christ" who is The Light of Man to be understood post-his human death. Rohr has neat ideas but he is constantly bouncing back and forth between Reality and 'mingling with the concepts he grew up with the Roman Catholic church..I can see he's dealing with the residue from those 'places' which still treats Jesus like a religion for they themselves claim to be his body, in his own 'collective memory'. The body of Christ now is all around the world for they whom have received the Spirit of Life and the Spirit of Truth (or Reality as some say) . Buddha, Mohammed, and any one else who taught what they did are dead people who never Knew him or God for that matter. "I and the Father are One, if you have Seen Me you have Seen the Father", interestingly no one ever called 'God" Father up to that point in time in all humanity. We can never be 'In Buddha' or "in Mohammed' or in any 'teacher'...born common people and died common people. Jesus was 'heretical ' in the sense that he told everyone essentially both politically inclined and religiously inclined, 'Guess what, you'are all WRONG" and wrong in every sense of the word, not only them but EVERYONE. If EVERYONE is wrong, now we have a a starting point. He said 'It is FINISHED' Finished with what? The End of that age of humanity. The Truth now is he GOD) is creating the Reality on 'earth as it is in heaven' "to those who would Receive Him". The Reality of it will only be Known in Eternity which always is. We've have to co-existing things, the realities of man and his religions the Reality it'self which in this world is of they whom are already "in Christ". Jesus is not someone you believe or believe about as much as Believe Into...and it's One Faith and what is that? The Faith of God Himself in the Person of Himself...Let us make Man in our Image is happening right now and has been since 'the beginning' going back to King David and even Abraham in various ways and forms but Truth is Truth and The Faith of God is not comprised nor can it be touched, but those who are touched by Him are Enlightened. It is also Unending from being The Beginning. The Fulfillment of this is already in Eternity. Rohr is playing the role unknowingly as one of those who will 'come in My NAME"...he's very deceiving but not anymore, many have already figured it out. I understand why he wants to hear what he is hearing the way he does, He Sees what's going on but is not Hearing. "No one has ascended from heaven but He Who descended from heaven. The Son of Man who is in heaven" ..let us wrap our minds around that one. He's two places at the same time all the time, on earth now in those who have Received Him and In Heaven where he alwasy was before He became Known to man.

The problem with freedom from words and labels is that when the mind is not mature yet, it needs very precise, logical directions to the truth. If the immature mind is fed with a coctail of spiritual teachings, the result is mess. So the mind needs clear instructions within a specific path. Then you may realize that the neighbors have the same truth that you learned within your path.

@@mikejohnson2173 Hello Mike, During lockdown I went on RU-vid and joined in with the services at the Unity Church in Naples ,Florida. Recently I have been going to the Quaker meetings nearby. My soul seems to breath a big sigh of relief there as we sit in silence and go within. Many blessings 🙏💕

+Mamam Tua Yes, to truly come to know Jesus, one has to find Yeshua, so Yeshua can tell you where the true Kingdom is, and he will point you in the direction to the Temple of the living God, that dwells within us all! In this world, the Temple is our body, and the "Kingdom," within, is not built of stone, but Spirit! That Holy Spirit awakens us to the realization that we are the Son's and Daughter's of the living God! The fruit of that Spirit is love! Our guide, example, and teacher, on the path that leads back to our true home, is Yeshua! Ameyn!

There's a lot of interfaith crosstalk nowadays. I think that's good.

In what way? One could very well argue that the false prophets are those that do not lead people to the love of God but rather lead a fear mongering way of preaching the gospel. Come to God's love and know for yourself my brother. The father is with you always, look within and know him. The false self is preventing you from seeing this message, give up the illusion and allow Abba to come into you and change your life forever. You cannot fall away once he has you and you become aware of the illusions of the world. Truly then you will have overcome the world.

Jesus is the Truth. Enlightenment is seeing the truth, which is Jesus. So Englightenment is to meet Jesus. What Scriptures do is point to the truth, i.e. Jesus. How to meet Jesus?
