This is so wonderful!! Thanks so much for doing such a fun video of our store. I loved it. We work hard to make sure it feels special with Christmas themed trees every year, our village displays, and making sure our antique animatronics are moving and maintained. But it's worth the work seeing customers faces when they walk in for the first time. HoHoHo!
That tree was too perfect. One of these day's I'm going to have to get one just like it. It was such a great destination and made for a fabulous afternoon. Thanks so much for commenting and watching, Laura!! ❤️
Thanks Shane! Another great video! Your videos are becoming a holiday tradition! So many cool places you’ve shared! Appreciate it! Loved the Peacock tree 🌲 🦚 Happy Holidays! Now I’m in the mood to put my tree up and listen to Christmas music! Thanks!
I can't tell you how happy I am to read what you wrote about holiday tradition. That's certainly the most rewarding parts for me when making these video... the hope that folks will tune into them when they're needing a little holiday cheer. Thanks so much for this comment... and for watching, Deana!! ❤️
Something about moving Christmas mannequins makes me feel like a 6 year old full of imagination and wonder! This whole place was amazing and magical.. I feel like writing a letter to Santa after seeing this. My favorite thing was the oversized sleigh bells with the carvings😍😍😍😍 Thank you for taking us on this magical journey through fantasy and wonder🎄❤️
I totally understand the feeling. I'm so glad to hear that it put you in the holiday spirit. I was totally seriously about my statement about the sleigh bells; one of these days I'm going to get the perfect set. Nothing sounds more like Christmas the the jingle jangle of high quality sleigh bells. Thank you for always watching and commenting! You're the best ❤️
I love this store! Every year is a tradition to go during our summer getaway to the white Mountains for that little touch of Xmas in summer. We missed it very much this year. 😢
I hear you. There was a lot to miss out on this year. Santa's Village is my biggest modern day tradition and they won't be open this December. The good news is that I went in September and October. I'll have a new Santa's Village video posted in a week or so. Thanks for watching and commenting!
i love this so much, i haven't been here since i was like 7 [i'm 19 now] i'm so glad it's still open, i really want to go back... the themeing is amazing and it really looks beautiful
Hi was there the day before ,what a beautiful magical place and festive and made me feel like a kid again ,loved the displays ,treats and bought several orniments already ,perfect for the holiday season ,will be back soon ,thanks for sharing ,
Love this video and I really want to check this place out. When I was a kid I took a trip to NYC with my Gram around Christmas time and we walked around to see all the animatronic window displays. This sort of reminds of that except on a much more quaint and low key scale.
Thanks so much, Stephanie! You should definitely make a trip up to see it sometime. Plus Conway is such an amazing destination. So much to do and it's the most charming places I've been to in a long time. Oh, and I used to love those animatronics in the windows (if we're thinking about the same thing). Thanks again for watching and commenting! Hope you're having an amazing holiday season! ❤️
went there with some friends almost 15 years ago and to this day, every so often even if I'm not *THINKING* about the place, in my brain I hear "Chestnuts, Get yer fresh hot chestnuts here!"
You are adorable Shane! I forgot about this place- thank you for reminding me about my childhood. Salted caramel was delicious, there are definitely company stores throughout Mass that have them ( or maybe the outlets in Kittery, ME) Love all the swag! Thanks for the tour .
Definitely some lights out. I was just glad that my camera could even get an exposure. But either way, I loved how old school charm it had. Some might say to update it, but that would just lessen the nostalgia factor. Thanks Nikki!! ❤️
If you only knew how much I bought 🤦🏻♂️ 😂 . I definitely came home with tons of goodies and half of my Christmas shopping complete. Thanks Michelle! ❤️
Dept. 56 Village person here! (Actually, three villages: Dickens, New England and Alpine.) Such an amazing video of such a magical place! Thank you for taking us to The Christmas Loft. It is now on my list of places to visit.
You're very welcome, Madeline! I actually cut out a chunk of the video where I was talking about the Department 56 villages. I was saying how I'm so afraid to buy a house because id end up collecting to no end (I'm bad that way). However, I saw the 3 sets you have and LOVE them. Nothing says Christmas like a beautifully lit village. My father was very much into them. Oh, and I haven't forgotten about the Norman Rockwell/Stockbridge, MA village video. It's coming soon 😉. Happy Holiday season!
@@TheCandleEnthusiast Yes, there is something very addictive to those villages! My mother collected the same three that I do, my sister-in-law collects the Christmas in the City village and my daughter collects the North Pole village. Ever since my daughter was very young, she would request a North Pole village piece instead of a toy for her birthday or Christmas. Unusual for a child, but now years later, she has an amazing collection. A few of my family members and I inherited my mother's houses and accessories, and those are especially precious to me. I am looking forward to your Norman Rockwell village video! Thank you again for the joy you bring to us through your videos.
Wow! This place looks so magical!! I love it! Thank you for taking us along! And you want to know something that is so funny? We don't have "hamlets," here on the west cost so the first time I ever heard that word I was so confused. But my boyfriend at the time told me it meant a little town within a bigger town and then he went and showed me the most darling little hamlet I could ever imagine. It was pretty special 😊. So when I heard you mention this word it instantly made me think of the first hamlet I had ever been in and that made me happy. Thanks for the fun adventure Shane! And random question, have you ever seen the movie Rambo? You kind of remind me of him.
Always my pleasure, Rebekah! I suppose hamlet is a strange word, especially if you're not familiar with what it is. I try to always use "village" in the same sentence so people don't get confused. Glad you boyfriend-at-the-time could fill you in. I'm wondering if the hamlet you saw was out west or somewhere else. We need to get you back on the east coast one of these days. 😂 Rambo? Actually it's one of my favorites, but why on earth do I remind you of him? Either way, I'll take the compliment! Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Hope you are enjoying the holiday season to the fullest! You're such a gem! ❤️
This was a fun video. Thanks for the tour. I probably won't make it up to New England again, but if I do, this would definitely be on my list of places to check out!
I know, it's horrible. But it was that or nothing. Maybe next time I can ditch the mask. Let's keep our fingers crossed 🤞. Thanks for Watching and Commenting!
