Purchased this watch and could not be more pleased. Substantial, high quality, looks like way more watch than the price. Bracelet has a very high quality feel. Sits very high on the wrist, so forget French cuffs. Just ordered my third Christopher Ward. Great value.
Great review as usual, Ivan! It's incredible how the CW looks great also beside your Tudor and Omega, two watches with a completely different price point. My C60 Sapphire is the best - or one of the best - watch that I own in almost every category: amazing and unique dial, a perfect bracelet (better than my Omega, yes), lume (great, but you can't beat Seiko Lumibrite 😉), wearability and accuracy (1 digit). Now you have only to decide which CW is for you and let us know 😃
Christopher Ward seems like a brand that has a unique, consistent design language and fantastic quality. Definitely want to experience one someday. Maybe not this chronograph though, my wrists are not built for it. Great review!
It is a beautiful watch. IMO CW is the new Rolex. Nice tool like watches that are reasonably affordable. Like Rolex used to be. But I've decided to go solar in most of my collection instead of autos. Their nice but I started doing the math to maintain an Auto collection and its just not affordable for me. Which was disappointing cause I was going auto cause I got really tired of changing quartz watch batteries. Anyway I had to put on the brakes before I got to deep. 😅High end Protreks, gshocks and MTGs (with the odd citizen watch in there) seem to be my bread and butter but I still have a couple autos. Owning some solar watches for a few years really chg'd my perspective of them. Especially ones that have atomic solar or Bluetooth to keep the time keeping acurate. Or how handy Bluetooth and Casio's phone app can make a good travel watch into an amazing travel watch. That being said I'd love to own a CW GMT someday. 😅😅
In this particular case it means nothing but due to RU-vid policies I've ticked the box of paid promotion as I'm recommending a product which people may buy. This particular CW was lent to me for a review. I had it for a month and then I sent it back. CW didn't pay me and didn't have any control nor influence over what's said in the video.
I have the Le Jour Le Mans Chronograph and the dimensions are very similar to this watch! I love the le Mans and it fits perfectly on my 6.7 inch wrist! Just purchased! I love this watch as well! To bad it is discontinued! Plan on getting a Christopher ward watch someday for my collection! The watch looks awesome on your wrist! Great review and you made me a subscriber!! 😀
Thanks Nelson! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Perhaps they'll release it again with the "only logo" dial? I definitely hope so. The Le Jour Le Mans is a very cool chronograph and affordable all things considered. Which color configuration do you have?
@@TheBoldHairspring I have two versions! The 001 version which is the cream face dial with black subdials and the 014 which is the black dial with white subdials. I got them on sale so below a thousand each, which I think is a really good deal! if you like the CW chrono you will definitely like the Le Mans as well! I actually found the C60 trident pre owned..the same one you have...but it's pretty pricey! Waiting to see if it will go on sale! Any😀ways looking forward to more videos!
