The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay Original Xbox Gameplay 

The designers, probably, were under the impression of Doom 3 E3 demo circa 2002. Then again who wasn't

ps2 didnt mess up this game with its low polygon style this is how games built with xbox in mind look better polygons

@@southsidetherealest2860 What I wanted to say is how much the lighting system, the normal maps in low textures and the animation and facial expression system remind me of the id Tech 4 engine (Doom 3 engine), having a charm for a 2004 game.

I could have sworn this game ran on that same engine.

You mean the fugly textures or the rubber characters? This was a massive downgrade from the PC version lol. Metal Gear Solid 3 on PS2 was miles ahead and still looks amazing to this day

@@snoopersmokio MGS2 has smaller environments, it's obvious who's smoking cheap crack here. MGS3 has higher polycounts, larger levels, water with full reflections, fully 3D grass which is animated (reactive) to movements, high quality post-processing, insane amounts of alpha textures for foliage, full shadows for every character and high quality textures. Also way more characters and objects on screen than MGS2 including jungle animals, fruits, etc. You don't know jack about graphics and demand on performance, sonny boi.

Game is good, PC version is miles ahead though, and Xbox is just a glorified PC since it had PC parts.

This was never in question. that was the case since the xbox launched. Every Splinter Cell on Xbox had far better graphics than the ps2 and gamecube versions.
