Seeing that I know both English and Greek and have spent many years studying the NT in many translations and in Greek, I can say that there are many good translations out there. They are every bit as good as any translation of the OT. Christians believe there is only one God. And you are right that there is no Savior other than God. Christians believe that. As Paul wrote, "We have put our hope in the living God." Of course, not everyone who claims to be a Christian is a Christian according to the definition in the Scriptures.

In this specific case, the Truth is that the Church appropriated the Hebrew Bible and subverted it in an act of deception. You can literally make a list of all the verses they ripped out of context, faked, manipulated, etc. You can also investigate how Christianity embodies Pagan rituals and symbology. You can also do a simple Compare and Contrast analysis on the NT and OT and see how Christianity contradicts the OT. The truth is very clear for you to see, understand and know. I am of Jewish descent(mother) I was predominantly raised Christian because of my father. I did all the right things that a young Christian should do went to Bible camp , activate in the youth group, Then through my middle life I kind of just lived. I was a christian for 20 years. Something in my life just wasn't right. I prayed to God for him to lead me on the right path. To my shock I was led to a Jewish Rabbi on youtube. It changed my life. Never did I expect to be converted by a Jew! I am so thankful for that.

It is an astonishing revelation to receive 'salvation', this late in life , the fruition of my RENUNCIATION OF CATHOLICISM AND ITS IDOLATRY fifty years ago ! If you were not born Jewish, or are a Jewish convert, you are NOT required to observe the Sabbath, which was only given to the Jewish people. You are only required to learn from the Rabbis, and follow the 7 Noahide Laws.

Those who deny the oral torah and it's authenticity often launch attacks against the Sages and Rabbis of Judaism. The skeptic is often under the impression that Rabbinical conspirators came and gained influence over the Jewish communities sometime after Ezra to subject the Jewish people to a lifetime of putting your right shoe on first before your left; these same Rabbi's in their cruelty also enacted the audacious tradition of washing your hands before prayer and lighting candles to welcome the Sabbath. Commonly we'll hear from christians, karaite sympathizers and muslims that we make our rabbonim out to be God's and that we “pervert" the message of the commandments of the Torah. As we've established previously, Rabbinical authority is rooted in the words of Deuteronomy 17:8-11. The Pharisaic authorities did not emerge out of thin air. As seen in Deuteronomy 16:18-20 Moses appointed judges and courts for his nation in all of their towns ,the primary council of judges being the Great Sanhedrin which would oversee all the major cases in Israel from Jerusalem. Contemporary Rabbis are the direct successors of these biblical judges. To the dismay of the Bible alone-ist a great example of rabbinical authority is seen in the story of Esther “The Jews ordained and took upon themselves and upon their seed and upon all those who join them, that it is not to be revoked to make these two days according to their script and according to their appointed time, every year. Then Esther the queen, the daughter of Abihail, and Mordecai the Jew, wrote with all authority, to confirm this second letter of Purim.” Esther 9:27-29 Surely no one who affirms the divine inspiration of the Hebrew Bible would attack Mordecai and Esther. Yet here they are in what seems to be a direct violation of Deuteronomy 4:12 which states “Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you." How could such righteous people violate the Torah and inspire the entirety of the Jewish people to do the same? Well... They didn't. The answer is found in the fact that Mordecai was not only a Persian governor on the secular side of things,but also a member of the esteemed Sanhedrin and subsequently a leader of the Jewish people who acted fully in accordance with Torah law. In the fashion of Rav Student I too shall pose some questions to the proud scripture alone-ist and take the offensive front. How much does an ephah weigh? We are told to use it as a measure for weight in the Torah but nowhere is a detailed description of an ephah provided for us within the written text. What are the mandated fasts of Zechariah 8:19? Why would the Prophet Zechariah expect us to know them when these specific dates are not mentioned anywhere in the five books of Moses? Why was Ruth accepted into the congregation of Israel when the Torah forbids Moabites and Ammonites to assimilate into Israel fully until their tenth generation? In Jude 1:7-9 why does Jude mention two extra biblical stories such as the quarrel of Michael and Satan and then the book of enoch which is not in the traditional christian canon? Why does Paul mention two men named Jannes and Jambres who opposed Moses in 2 Timothy 3:8? Such a story is also found nowhere in the Biblical narrative. In conclusion we have not only substantiated the existence of rabbinical authority and the oral law in the confines of the written torah,but we have also shown how the christian scriptures are inherently dependent upon Torah Sh'bal Peh.

I don't understand how the church have crosses and plaster images of jesus, to my mind they are graven images, which is a commandment, how can they keep changing the word of G-d.?

There were three commercials one hour 44 minutes long from a Christian church. Coincidence or not? Can someone ask to have their paid commercial be placed specifically on a channel? I prayed hard after reading in Galatians Paul saying the whole of the law is fulfilled in one word. I had never read Deut 13:3 it popped up on my computer screen with out me. God you have not known (Athens) Don't follow that prophet. a test and fixed the verse I was crying over.
Romans 10:9 The Most Abused Verse In The Bible. I want to challenge and remind you, reading this chapter, you have to handle the word of God properly! The Bible is a message from God not from us, and when we open the Bible to teach and preach we are dealing with God’s thoughts. Our job is to properly understand the text and then preach and teach what we understand. We can mess up every other book, but when it comes to the Bible we must get it right! People misunderstand the Bible for the same reason they misquote Shakespeare. They spend their time repeating what they heard somebody else say, but they have never really read the book or got proper understanding for themselves. I guess in most cases it’s ok to mess up Shakespeare because there is no eternal consequences. However, when you mishandle the Bible, you put yourself and the saints in a bad situation. The greatest danger in the world and in the church is the false prophet and the praise hustler. You know the ones who try to make the Bible sound like they want it to sound and say what they want it to say? While they are performing all of the pulpit gymnastics, nobody is getting any word. These praise hustlers run right past the Old Testament. They take off in the four gospels, jump completely over the book of Acts and land in Romans Chapter 10 verse 9. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. They take Romans 10:9, and tell you to believe on the Lord Jesus and you’ll be saved. I’ve got news for you, you’re not going to be saved until you get saved. If you forget everything you have read so far, don’t miss this. The book of Acts is the only book in the Bible that tells you how to actually be born again and receive Jesus. Accepting Christ as your personal savior is not in the Bible. You can accept something and get nothing, but anything you receive, you have it. The Bible doesn’t teach to accept Christ, it teaches to receive him. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:12 KJV Romans 10:9 is not the plan of salvation, and the only way it could even sound related to the plan is when you take the whole passage out of context. False prophets have made a lot of people think that just because they confess (or admit) that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead, they will somehow be “saved” and make the rapture. If you start reading at the beginning of the book, you see that the apostle Paul is deeply concerned with the Jews and whether “they” will be saved. Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. Romans 10:1 KJV In verse two Paul explains that they have a zeal, but something is missing. Their knowledge is incomplete because they are still trying to get to God through Moses and the law. Just like in the book of Galatians, Paul is trying to get the Jews to understand that they can’t be saved following the law and that because of Jesus they are not under the old covenant anymore. They follow their religious duties, traditions and sacrifices very well, but these things will not cover their sins. Paul wants them to know that they need the blood of Jesus! 2. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. All Paul is doing is defending the gospel and the reason that we preach it. He is also explaining why Israel has failed to come to Jesus. 3. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth. Romans 10:3-4 KJV When you dislocate the scriptures, they don’t work! Romans 10:9 only says what most people think it says when you take it out of context. Remember when the disciples thought their boat was about to sink? They called out and said, “Master, save us!” And in Matthew chapter 14 when Peter was sinking, remember what he said to Jesus? But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. Peter and the apostles were not asking to be saved from sin; they needed deliverance from another, more immediate issue. They were asking to be saved from drowning. When you see the word “saved” in the Bible, it’s not always talking about being saved by the blood. Look at Romans 5:9-10: 9. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Romans 5:9-10 KJV Notice that Paul says that salvation from wrath can be obtained by people who are already saved. The Amplified Bible makes it a little plainer: Romans 5:9-10 (Amplified Bible) 9. Therefore, since we are now justified (acquitted, made righteous, and brought into right relationship with God) by Christ blood, how much more (certain is it that) we shall be saved by Him from the indignation and wrath of God. 10. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, it is much more (certain), now that we are reconciled, that we shall be saved (daily delivered from sin’s dominion) through His (resurrection) life. Just like in the above examples, Paul uses Romans, chapter 10 to say that Israel needs to be saved. They are very religious and devoted to the Law of Moses and to there rituals, but they are omitting the main thing when it comes to salvation, and the main thing is Jesus! Because of there misguided zeal, Paul is saying that they need to be delivered (saved) from their traditions and brought into the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Paul was saying if the Jews want to be saved from sin, they must first get saved from their old ways of thinking and their traditions. The book of Romans was written to a group that was already saved, but written about a group that needed to get saved. The Jews needed to first get saved from their traditions, so they could then get saved from their sin. Romans 10:9 is simply saying that if the Jews would confess Jesus with their mouths and believe in their hearts that God raised him from the dead, then they could go on to accept the death of Jesus (as substitutionary), the blood of Jesus and the plan of salvation that was preached by Peter and the rest of the apostles. Confession and believing would put them on the road to being safe so that they could accept the gospel and be saved. Notice, even the much criticized Wycliffe New Testament translation properly renders the word “saved” as the Greek word “sozo” (sode’-zo) which means to be safe, do well or be well. That if thou acknowledge in thy mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and believest in thine heart, that God raised him from the death (that God raised him from the dead), thou shalt be safe. Romans 10:9 (Wycliffe New Testament) Romans 10:9 was not and is not offering anybody salvation from sin. You can’t be saved until you first get saved; you get saved by obeying the book of Acts. You can go to Romans and talk about being saved. You can go to Corinthians and talk about living saved. You can go to Galatians and talk about thinking saved, but you aren’t going to be saved until you obey the book of Acts Beloved, don’t let false prophets and jelly backed preachers tell you about being saved without telling you how to get saved. I don’t care what doctor so-and-so says and it don’t matter what Bishop Pretender says, the Word of God is the final court of appeals. This whole question becomes a play on words. It is important to define most of them because people have come to the wrong conclusions. My work background is engineering and this is made up of many disciplines. Each one has its own variation in language to explain construction, methods and processes. This is an example of what is the main problem. Living a life with no debt and low expenses gives long periods of quiet reflection and in one such period a supernatural experience of being drawn by God occurred. There was no search or quest because such an experience cannot be contemplated or known to exist in the usual mind that is thought from. God revealed Himself to me. God is a quiet observer that is Known in a mind that is a little deeper and just beyond the mind that is usually thought from. Care must be taken to understand where a belief has come from, therefore there was much research of spirituality, religions and even technology. A whole world of alternatives was opened up that there had been no awareness of. A lot was shown to me but the common language used and the meaning of the words had to be learned. There were variations therefore the source definitions had to be found. The King James Bible was read and although difficult to understand many phrases and scriptures explained what had been supernaturally experienced. Knowing God as He requests is a supernatural experience and the scriptures are a conformation of a true one. For three years revelation would come into my mind as a full answer to unasked questions, I knew the question by the answer. I am taught by God my non biological Father. The hereditary line from Adam has been severed. Eventually I had to do some serious work because a house had to be built. My second son was on the way and we were living in a small dwelling that was not large enough. The daily revelation ceased and for 11 years I was on my own. During a fast that lasted three weeks the Spirit lead my mind deeper and deeper into a transformation and renewal and the covering of the Divine Nature. Atonement is "at one with" and in the completion of access to the Holy Place my body was filled to overflowing with the Fullness of God in the Spirit. When words were spoken they flowed from a Perfect and Holy vessel. The Divine Nature is more gentle than can ever be contemplated and this must be found to have access to God who is truly our Father.
You might as well throw out the sages too then because they frequently use passage in the Tanakh in an interpretative manner as well, the New Testament writers are not acting in anyway contrary to norms advanced in the 2nd Temple period

King Nimrod was out hunting with his men, one day, and was mauled by a bear. His men ran away, leaving him for dead. Three days later, King Nimrod came back and convinced his people that he was god. His people started calling him god, and his mother, the mother of god. His people celebrated King Nimrod's birthday on December 25th by cutting down trees out of the forest and bringing them home to decorate and exchange presents. The scriptures warns not to celebrate this pagan holiday, but Christian's do it anyway.

It's this implicit claim of a gradual revelation that has vexed me the most. I don't understand how you claim prophetic writings were set down in Hebrew in some kind of linguistic invisible ink, that only become apparent when you translate or mistranslate specific passages, isolated from context, into Greek. The people who were eyewitnesses were interpreting events having heard their Hebrew scripture read out (maybe much was memorised). Maybe someone was explaining the Hebrew in Aramaic. But the key prophecies are only available to Greek speakers in the diaspora (assuming earliest possible translation). What were they supposed to make of all this.
