Aren V Agreed. He has potential to gather a much larger audience. Normal, not die hard church fans, are looking for a good interview and not the same old cocaine story for the 25th time. Joey as an interviewer is terrible. He shows almost no interest in the guest. He's great at keeping air filled, though. I personally love Joey despite his selfish tendencies. Personally I listen for him not the guests. I'd be fine if he never had another guest on the show. I think most people would prefer he has guests, allow them a voice, and that he show a genuine interest. Has anyone else ever noticed if a guest even begins to chime in at all Joey becomes completely distracted either drinking water, hitting his bong, checking his phone, and by the time the guest slows down or ends the sentence he replies in a way that at the surface seems like it's an add on to what they're saying, but in actuality most of the time it's completely unrelated.

There’s a happy medium. Joey doesn’t show enough interest and sometimes Rogan shows too much interest and it becomes all about the guest - if the guest is someone people don’t like then the viewers don’t like the episode. So it’s how can u show an interest but not have the guest take over the show/topics. (I️ love both podcasts just something I’ve noticed)
