Shooby is my fave by far! But I wouldn't be mad if "Rebecca" aka Seaburn won. It is so frickin hilarious watching seaburn try to "girl talk" and flirt with the other guys
Watching this video after I just finished the series, you're right, the dramatic irony in this was unreal. In a way, it made it even more interesting. Thankfully, the ending wasn't exactly tragic.
Am I the only one who doesn’t really like Shooby? I don’t hate him, but he seems really judgy of people who use social media/lie about themselves without thinking about what they’ve gone through.
duck that’s exactly how I felt!! When Sean confesses she was a catfish. Shooby didn’t seem empathetic or understanding why she did what she did. And at the end of the day, being a catfish wasn’t cheating it was part of the game and each person approaches the game in a different angle. It’s a social experiment.
Arielle Macanas the other thing that bothered me was everyone forgetting it was a game for 100k and they worrying about being fake like that’s the game bro
@@arielle6254 sean made a video on YT about a qNa of the circle and when shooby watched the circle again he mentioned to sean that he was so sorry he judged her true what you say tho🤞
I usually don’t watch reality tv, but this one is an interesting concept. For me it is Shooby all the way! He is by far the most wholesome and genuine :D
Shoobie is too innocent but that's partly why I'm on his side. Sammie is too dramatic and annoying honestly. Complaining and dramatic bc people she's known for 2 whole days through 4 msg sessions aren't sticking up for her. Joey is way too easy to manipulate with a pretty face so far. Mercedez is probably my fav at this point. Treating it like a game that it is and not caring about making people happy.
I was worried about the editing being overbearing on the whole emoji and social media cutesy thing but luckily it toned itself down. Otherwise I think this show has let its premise shine, which is the best part of it imo. And though I don’t have any favorites to win since predicting isn’t my forte, I’m quite enjoying Sammie and Karyn at the moment just for their play and personality
love, love, love. the cast is great. the host is fine but it needs the UK's snarky narrator. The UK is more social, less strategic. the uk fans don't like strategy. I love strategy and gaming. I hope the U.S is more cutthroat than the UK. It seems like it will be. The only negative is the way netflix is releasing the eps. It would work better if they released 2 eps 2x a week then 1 ep that was similar to BBUK's bits on the side where they interview the blocked players. It would keep the hype and allow for easier watching by groups of fans to get it trending.
I kind of dig the episode release style. It’s not so much that you’re getting it all at once but also not too little that you’re left wanting much more. 4 hours of content is great to me, and I definitely tore through it. Glad you’re watching!
I just found this show last night and binged the fuck out of it. My favorites are Shoobie and Sammie. But Chris is also amazing, and Karen aka Mercedeze is so great at getting people exactly where she wants them and she is still nice. ❤️
I'm rooting for Joey because he's just so brash and ridiculous. Shooby is awesome as well, my wife and I are really loving this show (yes we get hooked on some of the dumbest shit lol)
i still rather the uk circle, where the game is played live (though that has been scrapped for 2021), but netflix did whatever they could to retain elements that live shows can that pre-recorded shows can't.
Apparently there was originally a UK version and the description on Google mentions a Brazil and France version, so hopefully this catches on and keeps going!
my question to you is have you seen the UK (original version)? because the editing style is exactly the same as the uk version and including voice over except the host is american and player are American. also its exactly the same apartment as the uk version. as some of the players in us version are in the same place to the uk ones . as in uk version the narration does add something major to the show and i honestly think that the usa narration from the host also does add something to the show. it basically the same format. the only difference is the public cant vote on who they can send into the circle either a normal person or a catfish and there is no british banter(+ the accents) which to me makes it more entertaining than the US one . hence it not much interactive with the public in terms of the voting. another difference is that us version that they loaded 4 episodes they are about 40 mins long where as the uk version it comes on every day except Saturday ( about an hour long) , thus by the end of week the person who leaves the apartment go for an interview with the host with a live studio audience and the person who left finds out who is real and who is the catfish in front of a live studio audience ; which is also very entertaining as a viewer to see their honest and live reaction . my advice to you would be please watch the uk version the original version first in order for you to give constructive criticism and you would also have a frame of reference on when you make your next video on the circle us version. and you perhaps will see the difference between the two show and how its similar in terms of uk and us.
Thank you for the response! My goal was not to review the show in comparison with the UK version, but to review it as a fan of competition shows in general. I have very minimally watched the UK version, and I should have stated that in the video. If I was reviewing it and determining whether it holds up to the UK version, then that would be a different story. But this was just a simple review on my thoughts of the first episodes of the US version, that's it. Perhaps there could be another video where I could go over the differences between the UK and US version and build a review off of that, I think that might be interesting as well. I LOVE that you're a huge fan, and I'm enjoying it a lot as well. Have a wonderful day!
@@OurRealityokay if that’s the case then i completely understand that then as it was was not there in the introduction of your video. But you do realize that most of the reality tv shows that are watching like I.E. big brother Which you even reviewed it on your channel is originally from the UK. If you are reviewing competition shows in general as a fan you must look at from the perspective on how reality tv shows work in the US only because you are generalizing on how reality tv works around the world. As each country as their own format on to deal with reality tv shows ie the masked singer has it origins in South Korea but the USA has the same show but slightly different format. Yes perhaps in beginning of your videos you must state that you are only going to review on reality tv show/competition shows that are based in America and how they work in America only because we as a viewer know that there are originals versions of reality tv shows that wasn't created in usa. thus creates a discrepancy
Good charthers Shooby(awesome sweet charther ) Joey(pretty interesting and is funny) Rebecca (his childish behavior is just top notch funny and Interesting but there should be Abit more on him ) Don't like : Chris (cool guy at first but something tells me he's gonna go backstab root soon ) Mercedes(good but rn she looks dumb tryna message everyone how she's not a catfish and noone is really looking at that at the moment. Sammy (can be very judgemental at times but in defense she has been judged ) Antonio (tried being very stagetic to the point it was annoying and he lost Miranda (very weak canidate I mean very weak she is too emotional and real to the point of think she night get booted off because her emotions can be presived as catfish because it's too much
@@bamababii5989 pretty sure him and Joey picked miranda to go home not only him but I don't like sammie too and not hate shoobie but not particularly like him he's just meh
@seaburn. Are you sure you ain’t gay? My favorite is Chris Bc he’s real. You cat fishing there but is Rebecca even your girl? You sound gay and you hug teddy bear like gay so why don’t you come out of the closet! Be real you #fakedick
@@JayGordon. you don’t know that. I’m pretty sure it’s easy to pay people on the show not to tell the audience it’s not staged. The only way of knowing is if you yourself or myself were on the show and I doubt that you were on it. Hate to break it to you but not everything you see is real.
@@timothygarcia3192 kek when I will be 18 in a few years i will go in as a catfish and show you how it's not staged and from what I've seen of your photo you too could go in now and say the truth to me. They re casting for season 2 us😉 (Or maybe you go in the uk version because I've just now realized they stopped filming season 2 and season 3 and now are just waiting to be aired)
@@JayGordon. well you do that. I can be on the show. I’m 22 currently but I’d rather focus on my school work and follow my dreams. This show is not my dreams. But hope you get the chance to be on it and I’ll be waiting for that response.
