Grace’s always has a great stage presence and love this performance- if I recall, this was about the time when Grace became quite ill and her voice was going - just before the NY performance (Grace was very upset but tried to keep going),

I am totally gobsmacked by this performance to the point where I say to myself "15 years old-it's impossible" over and over. I have said it before-my word repository is running down to empty, Thanks Dax.

Be nice for her to start performing again

Grace's words on the reason for the delay of LETTERS Vol 2. As hard as it is to wait, I'm proud that she did this and I'm not surprised at all. This was posted on her Instagram story on June 15th. "I just want to say I know a lot of you are waiting on vol 2 of LETTERS and it was planned to start coming out around this time. But these are heartbreaking times I don't feel that this is the best time to ask for your attention it belongs elsewhere for the time being. But I love you all and I'm always here for you, I hope you can be patient and continue to speak on issues to fight for our safety and minorities rights."

Another excellent reaction and performance by Grace. Every time I think I've seen all her stuff something comes up that I missed. Thanks for this.

Grace reminds me of a conductor, directing an orchestra, setting the beat and emphasizing the highs and lows.

I encourage you to react to (or at least watch) more of Grace's recent "Ur So Beautiful Tour" live concert performances, if you can find decent videos. All Grace's performances are VERY energetic and fascinating to see, but Grace also changes up the songs a lot - the vocals, the timing, the words included/excluded, and her interaction with the audience is awesome. There is a tremendous two way energy exchange in the room between Grace and the fans - it's a beautiful and often emotional experience.

Just so you know she had a 100.1 fever that night and her vocal chords were getting stretched! Awesome follow thru on Grace. Love that girl!

Something I just remembered about listening to Grace as to how I thought to describe her singing. Listening to her singing with her imperfections is like listening to a vinyl record with its imperfections of cracks and pops.

Great reaction...again. You're so predictable! --- What can we say that hasn't already been said? This video circles me back to my description of Grace as the best singer/poet/songwriter/performer since WWII. This video speaks to the performer part of that. Grace doesn't just sing her songs. And truthfully, maybe performing isn't the right word either. She does more than sing a song. She does more than perform a song. She captivates and then conveys the emotions of the song so well using the the techniques you noted, and more, so that when the song is done we actually feel those emotions ourselves. So what word(s) do we use for Grace, because for me, "performs" isn't enough!

Good reaction. Every time I see a reactor (always male) miss the sarcasm in this song I think, "No wonder you aren't in a relationship." I think the story of you singing in your yard is hilarious. I've had that happen to me once or twice.

Great Review Dax. In a August live stream she mentioned that Sessions Vol 2 is still in the works but complicated. The studio is closed and she still has to work on getting the songs mastered in the studio. She may do some zoom sessions with production. Also trying to figure out how to promote the new album and tour during these Corona strange days. She said she doesn’t really know when it will come out. I hope it comes out soon.
