THE CITY said this home IS UNFIT for HUMAN HABITATION

This yard had some of the TALLEST weeds growing in it that I've ever seen. There was a CODE VIOLATION from the city stating that the home was UNFIT for HUMAN HABITATION. After speaking with a few neighbors, I knew I needed to get this one looking a bit better for the neighborhood.

Nice to see a landscaper actually pull out the tall weeds instead of just mowing over them which causes razor sharp spikes for people to step on. You hardly ever see someone go to this trouble. You Definitely earn a star and a subscription from me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I thoroughly agree with that exclamation point because it's then only the grass that's going to grow and not the weeds which grow taller than everything grow all over again Do you have to check with a local community police or something before you do a home that's vacant? I wondered that about all these wonderful people like you including you that clean up homes that they don't own. Is anybody allowed to do that or do you have to have a cleared by the police or somebody question mark I'm just curious. You did a really good job and if I were your mother I would be so so proud of you. Sometimes it's people's ill-health or not having money to be able to do it who knows you have done a good thing and God bless you for it in Jesus name amen and may God keep you protected as you do this and all these other people that do these things too in Jesus name amen!! ❤😊

@@TKLawns - I think mowing over them might also have spread the seeds/spores to other people's yards. At least they seemed to come out fairly easily, roots & all!
@diannaleigh9914
@diannaleigh9914 21 день назад
Also by pulling up the weeds you get the roots, which means they won’t be coming back and good healthy grass can grow. However, there are some weeds they need to just mow over because they would be there all year and healthy grass will crowd out the weeds and save the worker’s backs. Just sayin’.

I'm not allergic to poison ivy, or poison oak. Which is kinda remarkable because I am allergic to a lot of other things. But I have never had a reaction to poison ivy, and I have pulled a lot of it out of trees. That said, some guys that were friends of my brother (who also isn't allergic) helped us do some fencing once, they were severely allergic as it turned out. They ended up with blisters between their fingers and on their hands. They were brothers too, but we were working right along side them and didn't get any kind of reaction. So yes, it is true... not every one is allergic.

Good job! Pulling all those weeds by hand was a lot harder- but definitely better and they won’t grow back as plentiful! I like when people do things the right way- even if it’s harder and no real reward!

Great job, Tucker! "Pulling weeds" was something I heard (and did!) a lot in my youth, not so much after home string trimmers gained in popularity. But there's really no better way, other than chemicals, from discouraging their growing back. AND, I don't know whether to call those things you pulled weeds or root vegetables! Dang, son, great job!
