The Clarks (from Pittsburgh, PA) - Penny On The Floor (live) @ Mr Smalls Theatre in Millvale, PA If you like it buy the CDs or DVD!: www.clarksonlin... www.myspace.com...
I ended up moving 3000 miles from PA and anytime I get home sick, I put these guys on. It's hard when you're the only one in the family you're in who knows who these guys are... Brings me back to my days at Frazier and sneaking to the 'Burgh on the weekends...
5 years later and I’m getting to this comment but my hometown is Indiana, PA and I’ve skated IUP so many nights when I was younger. Got to stand out side and hear them play without paying for a ticket. Such a great band
I just moved from PGH to Wellington, New Zealand, this is the touch of home I needed. And 'tis the season for Clarks concerts! Thanks for posting these Brit.
I'm jealous....what a magnificent place to move to! I sold and shipped a classic Triumph Bonneville motorcycle to a nice gentleman in New Zealand. Glad you enjoyed the uploads!
I just seen them 2 days ago at seven springs mt resort, here in pa. I was at my 15th anniversary at my job and my employer rented the whole resort for some employees. and the clarks were our entertainment. my first time seeing them.
Sheetz? I was there! I worked on convention services and have to admit Sheetz didnt spare an expense to the employees! One of the most giving groups I dealt with
Jhonstown Pa. Die hard fan. I see you around every Mach and it's always my Birthday present. I love you guys and yes this is always our favorite song ❤️!!!!
My family absolutely loves the clarks I’ve seen them live 3 times with my sister and mom, my sister got in the 0.5 percent of clarks listeners on spotify but my mom is on a whole different level .. i dont want to know many live events shes gone to
one of the best bands to hear live. me and my gf, saw them on aug22nd at waterford fair grounds, ligonier pa, amazing show you all want to see a kick ass band go see the clarks, best band to ever come out of the burgh
No. They formed in Indiana PA at IUP. They played relentlessly and I saw them live countless times while I was in high school there. It was a great time to be alive
THE CLARKS WERE GOOD IN KITTANNING TOO! How many CD's do they have out?THANK YOU REBEL!!! Sponsored by Snyder,Inc. & Guiness Stout (DARK!) by the River ie...!~
No offense but you do realize that NO recording played through a computer's speakers or sound system speakers is going to match what a whole stage full of excellent sound equipment can do?
Other than the lyrics and music being great, the Clarks make me feel unusually proud to still be living in the outskirts of the Burgh. Never knew they were from this area til now. Dam, where have I been as a big music buff? DS
So many years later and I’m getting to this video but my hometown is Indiana, PA and I’ve skated IUP so many nights when I was younger. Got to stand out side and hear them play without paying for a ticket at 17. Such a great band.
@@jackhaughthe clarks have definitely got the best break-up songs.. personally I like On Saturday as a break-up jam, but they've got a few. Nice to see some fellow Indiana peeps on here though, I don't bump into very many
he is a good dude. he came to my HS in 2000 as he is friends with my former music teacher. It was at laurel highlands in uniontown. I remember the principal was very adamant about not saying the line getting high all year, and he agreed to not say it. Then during the performance he stressed the line and said it anyway, a la Morrison on Ed Sullivan. it was really awesome!! Love the clarks
This song brings a tear to my eyes every time I hear it. My ex-wife's name was Penny and "she found someone to take my place". Even though she left years ago, it is true that "no one can take her place".
Listening to the Clarks, getting pumped for next week while sifting through ads and trying to figure out how to pack up my plants. What a life. I love that I can hear the Pittsburgh in Scott's voice in every single song. Next week!
I've seen The Clarks twice at Heinz Field for Rib Fest, Twice in Kittanning for their little festival or what have you, once in State College, twice at The Big Butler Fair, and another time at some Theatre in Greensburg. I do love me a "Penny on the Floor "and i am most certainly "Better off Without You" " On Saturday"
i live in ohio and started driving through pittsburg once a week for the last couple months for work. i gotta say, even though your traffic SUX pittsburg is a happenin place. beautiful grils too!
I play it using primarily E A and F and he goes for G C and D chords. While the original artist rendition is often considered the correct one, covers should be unique to an artists vocal abilities.
@AcoustaCritic yeay!! replying on a year old post!!! Johnstown is roughly an hour east of Pittsburgh, so I'd say it's pretty relevant to the area. Plus, The Clarks play in Johnstown quite frequently...do your research :-)
lol i said it because thats what everyone says. my mom did live in the same trailer park as scott when she first got out of school but didnt actually know him
I just seen them 2 days ago at seven springs mt resort, here in pa. I was at my 15th anniversary at my job and my employer rented the whole resort for some employees. and the clarks were our entertainment. my first time seeing them. i live in altoona
Wow this band is very very very good. They been playing a long time now and first ever heard of them. Man boys get out the word maybe hit the West Cost/East Coast summer festivals with camp out gigs? ie, lots of band and huge crowds to see what your about
