All I know is when the Filipinos came to this great country they brought this amazing recipe with them. I’ve never had any other place other than a Filipino bakery or a Filipino home. They are amazing and I am here to learn how to do it. I wish I had a Filipino, auntie neighbor to teach me.❤ blessing
I made this today! OMG it was amazing especially when still warm and fresh from the oven. I sub the cream with whole milk because that’s all I had. The filling recipe lets you make generous amount per roll (just how i like it!). I think this recipe is not basic/easiest and least amount of ingredients compared to others I have seen but flavor makes it all the worth! Thank you 🙏🏼
I just made this recipe of Spanish bread, and i can tell u guys its super yummy. I just add vanilla essence for the filling to make a smooth aroma and it turn out super delicious. I would like to say thank u so much for this very good version of spanish bread.
I made this yesterday and it's better than those I baked last time. Taste soo good. 3&1/4 cups of flour is more than 407g. I used 407g instead of 3&1/4 cups to achieve a soft dough. Good to have measurement in grams it's more accurate. Once again thank you for sharing. 😊🙏God bless us.

I tried this recipe today. It turned out really well. My first experience with making bread from a different recipe turned out to have a tough top and it wasn't that fluffy. But this recipe, OMG it's super soft and fluffy. I hand knead the dough because I don't have a stand mixer and I was a bit worried because the dough was very wet and sticky. I just added more flour on the surface to work on the dough. I also had some extra fillings left. I think you can reduce the recipe of the fillings to just 3/4 of the actual measurement. Over-all this recipe is really good and so satisfying. It's also very beginner-friendly. YEY!
Thank you for the recipe. I made this today. It was a hit! It was soft and fluffy and yummy. For the filling, i didnt have cream so i used whole milk and also added powdered milk. "Hubby said, "na perfect mo"..ayiii :) it is his favorite by the way :)

Made this today. Just changed some parts of the flour to wheat flour (healthier), and they turned out very good! The filling is not too sweet because I skipped the condensed milk😊 thank you!
Tried this recipe few times and always turned out perfect. I wanted Spanish bread for breakfast so I did an experiment. I prepared the bread in the evening. Kept in the fridge overnight covered with cling film, then take out from the fridge 1-2 hours before baking . This is second raise for the bread to double its size. Afterwards I baked it. Taste was awesome . Just like as if, it was freshly kneaded.
