This is like listening to Zappa if he made sense. I'm starting to digg Sean's work, because honestly, if Les Claypool is playin in it, I'm there. So kuddos to both of them for taking a chance on each other. That Bass string bend gets me everytime! Brilliant trigger for the change.
This performance just feels so, relaxing. Like, comparing it to the studio track, the guitar is not as loud and the vocals are softer. The bass tone has more of the iconic Les sound, and the synth is a lot quieter than when I saw them last weekend. This is probably my favorite version I have heard.
The guitar player looks like John Lennon and Yoko Ono had a baby and the bass player sounds just like the dude from Primus. I don't think this is going anywhere.
@@1199ccttvKing Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard has one of the most dense and intimidating discographies in modern rock, but it's also one of the most rewarding to deep dive into. Every album is like its own little universe in itself.
Is it just me or is the songwriting ridiculously great and the sound is so fluid and well conceived - Sean Lennon adds a mystique and magic that is genuine and not forced like so many bands attempt to do
@@KR11111 and man think about that. Playing Bass like him or Geddy Lee, and still finding time and coordination skills to play sythesizer with your foot
I love sean Lennons voice and greatful to hear and look at him and see a glimmer of john.. les Claypool that i can listen to him jam for hours straight. The drummer and the keyboard players are right on. They really mix well. Thank you. !!!!! Also love, love this simple but powerful jam💜
It is soooo great to see premium musicians at the highest level. Rock N Roll might Not be dead after all. So smooth and glorious for me to see and hear this.
The mix is really great!!! Good job on that! The band is amazing, what a freaking nice collaboration, been in love with the band since the beginning :)
I think Les has been looking for a project like this for a while and Seans voice puts an authenticity to the 60 psychedelia sound that's just so cool. And the fact that there are all just amazing musicians.🖤❤️
When I put this album in my cd player and this song begins to 'sound', my kids ask: "Is that The Beatles?" Of course, they've already listened to my fab four CDs collection. I try to do my best to save their music taste.
Les Claypool is the best player of all time, anyone who says bass is an easy instrument and it has no emotion and is easy to play, has to listen to this guy
Everything that has every happened in music has lead up to this point everything is everyone and each one is all this is one of those things that proves that everything has a reason and if hell is the impossibility of reason then this was one of those matches made in heaven
