I used to smoke at the window late at night while lady neighbour was ironing clothes... I was a teenager and she was a middle aged MD. We had never spoken a word, but definitely acknowledged each other by glancing, never staring. It was magical, as heavily as Hendrix' approach to harmony. It had went on for couple of years.
To say that Hendrix is not the greatest guitarist to walk Earth, you’re out of your mind. That man changed everything in the world of music. I wish people would listen to him more
Yeah, I was bestowed The Honour of Hendrix holding Court in Concert. His fills and epic extreme absolutely controlling the whole guitar repertoire throughout the whole concert .It was an unbelievable, surreal Experience . And doing all these guitar pyrotechnics and constantly moving so well.. A totally magnetic human being performing impossible riffing and soloing with apparently no effort , unlike other guitarists, and singing as well . We lost such a Great One here . Great guitar work on the video I should say, as well. Thanks .
John frusciante (also nicknamed the son of Hendrix) is a great guitarist he is very inspired by jimi hendrix and it got him playing guitar and he builds on his style john is my fav guitarist
This track features in Galactica, as a haunting, sinister hint of deep trouble. I was watching it with my cousin, and started quietly playing it on guitar, behind his chair, causing a max "Whaaatt?" moment for him. 😊
Hello all, what i want to know is how does one go from a year of learning open chords and playing a few basic songs to this? This man just seems light years ahead, its like the difference between me and him is immeasurable ...... mind boggling
A lot of practice and many lessons unfortunately. Ive been playing for 4 ish years, practiced a ton, and can *sort of* do what hes doing but not nearly as smoothly or in rhthym. Makes me intimidated as well lol
“It’s just three chords” “you just do this” “it’s easy” - These phrases and many more can be found in my course called “Kinda Sorta Like That” and is available for $49.99. The second part to the series, “Maybe Put Your Fingers Here?” comes out in July.
