As a New Yorker I would totally believe that the Cleaners would be actual group of people. Giving the supplies and mindset that you find in New York, Cleaners would defiantly come out of somewhere out of the districts. Personal favorite faction.
The cleaners are interesting as they truly believe that they are helping New York and the country and that before they were just normal people and went out of their way to help the government only to then be left behind by the jtf and fend for themselves. The first record of joe hits a little close to home of reality lol. Great video and I wonder if will see the cleaner again? Love your videos
Keep in mind that if you listen ti a recording in the D2 DLC it actually brings to light that burning people messes with the cleaners and that they don't take lighty but they still push in thinking their doing the right thing
The Cleaners were my favorite Faction as well. Joe Ferro was a hard working NYC guy who wanted to keep his family safe, but lost his way because of the stress and pressure of the Pandemic. Great video as always NGN.
The one thing I always liked about division was the factions always had some really unique aesthetics and identity. The lil found footage clips really helped establish them as well. And besides, most of them aren't *wrong*, they're just going about everything the wrong way
The cleaners are one of the greatest factions ngtl, they all believe that they are doing something good, for their city and the entire country as a whole but the tactics they used made the government (or whats left of it) see them as one of the enemies. Great vid NGN as always :).
Very well pieced together, as always! The Cleaners are perhaps the most clear example of a faction with good intentions gone horribly astray of the original idea in the game. There's nothing particularly complex about them, but their Heavies are always the one that give an agent trouble. I used to love running the hardest bounties in Div1, but that one with the 3 Heavy cleaners was one I'd succeed against maybe 1 in 3 attempts.
This video was such a treat mate I loved it! The cleaners have been way more interesting than the other factions , I support their aim and goal but as I always said their ways going about it was totally wrong but you can't blame them cause when the human mind goes into fear and survival mode you then to think very very different but eventually that mindset will lead into just being an overall bad corrupted person, Aaron on the other hand just wanted power cause he saw an opportunity to be a leader of the country or that State I guess, but he was good with words and knew how to talk his way out of things and talk his way to get things, cleaners could have simply teamed up with the division if they really wanted the greater good for man but their agenda was different than the division, another great video mate!
The cleaners are my 3rd favourite faction in the division because they're backstory is very interesting. And to think that these are your everyday blue collar workers is very impressive. They're basically helping kill the virus but are destroying the need for a vaccine. Basically a damned if you do damned if you don't type situation and I think they helped at the start when the virus was at its worst
If Conley was part of the Cleaners as far back as Division 1, what was she up to during the first game? You'd think the Second Wave crippling the Cleaners would've gotten her attention and she would've tried to stop them from killing Joe Ferro and destroying their base.
She was recruited after his murder when a group of cleaners found her (this is where my memory gets fuzzy) and only spared her when they saw her rogue watch and decided to bring her in after a few choice words from her.
@@ChangedCauseYT-HateFoxNames Even though a recording before Ferro's death was about two Cleaners talking about Conley and Ferro. Personally, I think Conley got word of the attack and went to the production site, only to find Ferro dead and the site destroyed.
Of all factions, I think Cleaners are the most relatable of all. They didn't choose to go full crazy megalomaniac, they weren't criminals grabbing power thanks to the chaos. They, like the 1st wave of Division agents, were ditch by the government back at the DZ, and to survive both mentally and physically, on top of Joe's opinion - and loosing someone close - being way more common post apocalypse, choose to unite and do anything necessary to stop the spread of Dollar Flu. Even if it mean turning into TF 2 Pyro. Edit: The Mayor problem of the Cleaners, just like it would happen with other non-military groups (like Rikers for example), is, on the long term, the organization would turn into a civil war, the fact some people are even considering changing Joe for Vivian, which could initiate a spark of inner fighting
fear the works of fiction, because they contain a grain of truth. or in this case, a warning of the worst case scenario that is terrifyingly becoming a reality.
Dude somebody needs to give you a job in helping to do an animated division series man i dont know why nobody has come up with it it woud be awesome love your work you the man
Man, I just love your videos. Theyre so fun to watch, after every video of you, I see the game from an diffrent angle. Just wanted to say thank you for this great content. (:
Another really well put together video, kinda understand what the cleaners were trying to achieve, just obviously went too far and the wrong way about it.
That female shd recruiter is so annoying and I am convinced that she is with the black tusk as all the agents she picked when rouge to cause more damage and destroy the goodwill of the shd
You couldn’t be more wrong. They go out of their way to attack and kill government soldiers, police officers, and aid workers and kill multiple innocents who aren’t even infected. Just because they think what their doing is right that doesn’t make what their doing right.
I mean they did do plenty wrong but they are probably the least evil of all factions division 1 and 2, they are doing this simply to save the world, best way to describe the cleaners is the path to hell is pathed with good intentions.
The Cleaner is the only faction who isn't considered a "monster", they just really think that burning infection people will make everyone safe rather than just kill them for ruthless.
In rp terms my agent in the first game is a fallen cleaner. He realized what they were doing was wrong. He found a dead first wave agent that he discovered was his twin. So he became his twin and vowed to kill joe with fire. And that's what he did. Flame turret, incendiary grenades, and flame ammo
Just goes to show you how deep the lore and story can go. Yet we're starved of content...the devs should hang their heads in shame for not making the sequel as interesting and deep as the original
What I like about the cleaners is that out they badasses normal. LMB and Black Tusk are badass for their military tactics and trainings but cleaners also deserves a mention for being blue collar and minimum wage workers constructing their own weapons and suits and use them to defend themselves and burn everything. They may dont have combat tactics and trainings like the 2 military faction but they have intimidating looks and flamethrowers that can be hard to avoid
Best part 22:35 is in a ready position noticed there might be a fire fight and recocks his weapon, so was his gun not ready to fire the whole time he was walking readied?
Hey I understand you have done videos on the agents and their training and their background and what they have to go through is there any way that you can do a video on if these agents are vaccinated or are they naturally immune to the virus yes kind of like covid-19 and omicron if you join the division and you became an agent would you have to get vaccinated and do you know if they had a cure. Thanks for the breakdown videos they're really good for info
How awesome would division 3 be if you could choose a faction to join. I would pick the Cleaners or LMB every time. Even the Rikers inmates have a great look.
From a lore perspective the cleaners have to one of my favourite enemy factions but gameplay wise they are one of the most annoying factions to fight I'm not sure why but they are just a pain to fight
I really hope this doesn’t become reality, with the way the world is spiraling out of control right now. I would gladly step up to be a division agent for those in need. But I know there are those who would just rather burn it all to try and stop it. Even if it does more damage.
@NGN Since you're a fan of The Division, you should have a look at the lore of this one game that I'm playing, called Arknights. It's got a similar concept to The Division.
