Damn that silverado came with the 6.2l. In that generation i didn’t think it was common to find the big vortec in a chevy . Ik caddy and gmc had that 6.2s

His engine ,looks like my engine. I love it ,im so excited to amp up my truck shes at 354k ,and still runs strong obviously rebuild in the near future for motor and tranny but so cool to see guys who thought like i did and they put the time in with cad files and research to make our trucks streatable trophy kings

Thought you were talking about the clip of my truck my bad, yah he let off a bit too which caused us to buck. We think it could’ve been sway bar failure as well
damn this truck is so sano its just one little thing that bugs me. its not a ford. actually this truck is so rad its one of 3 that id have(poverty runner griffin fab and durtymax) this is what i think a prerunner should be. no crazy bulbous glass or 50 shocks wih 15 kc hi-lites screw in every panel. this truck is so damn clean. the freakin' white accents shit i almost forgot!! damn!!! its looks like a capable 4x4 but all he prerunner goodies are tucked in the glas is crzy. its like +2 tire upgrade. it looks awesome but only people in the know can tell its a freakin ' savage ripper. killer uild for sure
Are the six speed transmissions more reliable than the 4 speed? If I recall the 4L 60 is notorious for being weak right? Lots of those guys upgrade to the 4L 80 correct? How did the six speeds hold up?
Man, I've got a 2012 2500 and I've been looking to do a similar build for an over-land, rugged terrain type of build as well as haul other toys. Think it would be less functional/look goofy with the 6 1/2 ft bed?
Definitely wouldnt look goofy! If you do a long travel tear you’ll need to add air bags to still tow. Would be rad tho! We know a couple builds like what you want
@@garrettspicer7921 so clean, I wonder how difficult it was the get the wheel and tire setup to play nice. Have been looking into making the jump from a 32” tire but everywhere I look being told it dosnt work.
