superb episode buddy, great to see the legend that is John Meyler in there too albeit too short... savage conditions and like Ive always said, bad conditions do not exist in Landscape Photography .. Bravo Dude.. that image was class and the drone footage awesome ...
Super video Diarmuid, some fabulous footage and soundtrack and you got the shot at the last minute. I got soaked as well up on top that evening!! Thanks a mil for the plug! :-)
I walked from Hags head to doolin....loads of work going on up there, got great photos down at Moher hill castle down the track.........O'Brien's tower and main visitor center were a little busy....down the goat track a few surfers were heading out, I couldn't stop to take photos as I was being picked up at O'Connors pub in Doolin..........but the flowers along the cliff top were incredible........now back to you Diarmuid, great video as always, I love your drone footage, I will invest one day.......keep geeting out there and move around and explore, I have been exploring from Donegal to Cork for the last 38 years, I know things....lol
Epic location and footage as always! The pictures in the end of the vlog are great. It was probably very small difference in the moment but the small light above the stack makes them! The pictures convey the feeling of the place on that day very well!
Thanks Steve, Ya the workshops have been on the cards for over a year, nearly two but the podcast has just taken up so much time, now im only putting things together for them.
Some epic footage. Looks like you had a great time. I do feel your pain about hiking shoes. I’d kill for a pair that don’t cause problems when walking downhill.
Unreal man, subscribed to your old channel just found this one happy days, when's your walk from Doolin to hags head, going to try get down to Clare next week
Well done on capturing such great images in those challenging conditions! Superb drone footage, and, yes, the one still image you got was indeed 'epic'!
Fecking EPIC !!!! Great job mate, love the drone footage and dramatic music, I hope it features in your "This Is Ireland" project. Irish TV should bee picking up this stuff. Thanks for sharing.
Seeings how my Ireland trip is going to be canceled due to COVID-19, I will have to live with Virtual Trips like yours! Thanks for the heads up on Michael Shainblum’s course, I just signed up for it.
Close for sure, i didnt realise until i was fairly close to the sea stack as they are so small. but i did one lop and came back around and stayed away after that. too dangerous
Your content is dope! 🔥🔥 the b roll is on point too, I have an urge to go to Ireland atm and this just pused me more 😂. Subbed and following the Journey, maybe we'll meet in Ireland one day. Thanks man 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
The cliffs look epic from the bottom but there's no way I'd chance that path, especially without poles. Actually I'm reminded of Boulder Beach and the Otter Cliffs in Maine's Acadia National Park.
WOOOH HOOO , YOUR MAD I VE BEEN 30 YEARS PLUS GOING TO VISIT THE CLIFFS OF MOHER , We are actually from Lahinch - I remember the Tragedy of the Team Ab sailing down that were killed by their losing rock face of the cliff face , hundreds of tons landed on them _ IT Was a charity ab sailing event . No one since has been allowed do it ever again . It must of been in 2000’s when th accident happened
Hey Diarmuid, question for you. Every time that I have been to the cliff’s it has been too windy up top to get my bird up (M2P). What is the wind like down at water level? Better, worse or the same?
Hi Mark, thanks for watching buddy, If its an easterly wind it be a bit calmer for sure as you have the shelter of the cliffs, but a westerly wind is the one we get most of the time
Tunnel where the hell too ...... 😂 the locals wouldn't go down that Tunnel 😢 I had my GRANDMOTHER'S PEOPLE WHO ARE FROM INIS IORE😢 WE STILL HAVE MY GRANDPARENTS HOUSE IN LAHINCH, HEADING HOME TO LAHINCH FOR MY MAMS ANNIVERSARY MASS AND OUR BIRTHDAYS OUR FIRST TIME HOME IN 3 YEARS 😢
