I asked my brother about what he thinks about the Clippers trying to run it back with Harden, Kawhi, & PG. He said something that made sense he said "it's not about winning a championship right now. It's about getting people to come what them play in that new fancy arena."
Clippers have and will always have fans and people that want to see their games regardless who the players are, been there way before Kawhi, PG13, I love the team wether they win or lose, that’s my team.
He'd be kinda perfect back there again tbh. The Pacers just showed they almost have what it takes to contend with the Celtics they just need a guy like PG who can get his own shot when the team needs a bucket in the 4th
So the clippers should blow it up, the team that took the mavericks to 6 game with their “best” player missing. The same mavs that are going to the finals now…
Harden and PG ain't what they were a few years ago. And i know you didn't just call Russ a superstar😭. That man been washed for a while now respectfully.
Just think about it... they are thinking about paying a 34 years old injury prone guy Max money to be the 3rd option. So Embiid (injury prone) Maxey (only reliable star), George (injury prone) and a bunch of scraps... yeah, that screams Championship!
Kawhi been hurt because Paul George doesn’t play like a superstar and the clippers players are trash from 2020-2023 even this season they was losing every game without kawhi , kawhi injury always was the worest timing , I watched all clippers games this season I was praying every game for him not to get hurt , once I realized he didn’t come back from injury aftee 2 weeks Ik it was something crazy smh
@@Snipergange He is what 36 or 35 he doesnt have the Lebron anti aging hacks and all the injuries but PG averaged 22 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in I think I remember hearing over 70 games this season. So I dont think Kawhi gets hurt because of PG preformence. I see what your saying (Correct me) he doesnt carry enough of the load/step up to be the leader when kawai is injuried. The thing is to me is none of their core other then Kawhi knows how to lead a team to a ring. Harden and Russ went on sensational runs but never could and if we think (I do and as much as it pains me cuz I love all them niggas mainly PG he got me into basketball after seeing him 360 dunk in game when my gram took me when I was young) So to me I think you beileve PG is 1B when everyone healthy we know Kawai A1 So it may not be like this for you but for me he was no longer a superstar when he joined a westbrook also a super star at the time they did well but like I said both players are 1B players and lack leadership and superstars need to lead but none but Kawhi has that skill and understanding. So watching PG at a much older age then when I first saw him play I still see that old him somtimes the young high flaying Pacer super star PG13 but he just isnt that guy anymore Side note if PG wast drafted to a team starting to rebuild and I think most of his vets were traded or whatever so early on, he didnt have a Greg Pop so I think if Indiana built around him earlier or traded for a more vet star that as won a ring he would be a champion but its easy to talk about the past because we already know...but how did the Pacer take so long to see his talent like that I think he said he barley played the first year not even in garbage hour and when he had his breakout year I think he said he took his vets role as a starter and i forget but somthing like his young ego and a vets ego both claiming what they call theirs then his ankle... I got stuff wrong mb Im going off memmory if you read this Snipergange could you explain somethings I am missing or overlooked smt that happened cheers
Pretty sure the Knicks will be a force in East in the future though? Coming from a Dallas fan, love what they have built over there. Wish we weren’t so boneheaded and kept Jalen, but love seeing him blossom into a superstar as soon as he was the #1 option.
@@kassi420 Embiid is that dude Kawhi has always been surrounded by dogs and as a result, was able to look like "the one" Look at the ballers that was around him on the Spurs and Toronto. He's always been "a piece" not "THE PIECE".
Two things Bud: 1: Button your damn shirt. Who do you think you are lol?? 2. “Tax savings in Philadelphia” you’re joking right? Both states tax like crazy lmao
I've seen that kind of experiment fail as far back the time the Magic had T-Mac and Grant Hill. Two swingmen that do roughly the same thing. In Kawhi and PG, both play great defense and can score. But neither are explosive nor can make the rest of the team perform better. It took over a year for Kyrie and Luka to figure things out. 5 years of PG and Kawhi with nothing but stale ball movement, breaking down physically and mentally, and Clippers burning more money on diminishing returns. I used to like Kawhi when he was on the Spurs, but I've had a tough time trying to root for him in LA. Since 2021 he's been a Ben Simmons when the playoffs come. I think he's played in 4 of the last 19 playoff games. I get it he's injury-riddled, but his best days are long gone. Clippers are in a lose-lose situation involving Kawhi, PG, and Harden. Keep them all and be mid-to-bottom of playoff standings or lose any of them and be stuck without having your draft picks. Dark days ahead, but at least their arena (with no banners) will be top notch.
Nets and Clippers were getting better and then went Star chasing and now are stuck in a rut. Seems like trading for big stars isn't a good idea for long term success.
They are on a contender. Injuries happen. Bucks were contenders and so were Pelicans, Knicks, 76ers, Heat, Cavs, Grizzlies. Which team is guaranteed to stay healthy next year?
Steve Ballmer took Microsoft stock to the cleaners, then got an NBA franchise and achieved nothing, but he has money in the bank so people think he's smart. At least he can still scream.
@@davidantunez4147 I am sure last Summer they wouldve gotten a good deal for either one of them. Maybe to OKC to get their own 1st back, or Phili, or Milwaukee... or or or... I am not saying trade both. I am saying trade one of them. Now they are stuck and have no real option other then resigning PG/Harden and play the groundhog day game again.
@Smido83 if ur another team are u offering a first for an injury prone foward and a guy who doesn't show up in playoffs I think clips just want them for these few seasons to sell tickets then ballmer will blow the team up as I said he's done it before he will again
As a Clippers Fan, obviously I want the PG and Kawhi duo on my Team! But I want to trade Westbrook, Harden and PJ tucker for Jimmy Butler, Kristaps Porzingis and Ben Simmons. That way we get our defensive persona back. And we’ll have no holes in our game. Now Powell, Mann, Plumlee are good off our bench. But we need more backends and wings off the bench to complement our All Stars!
I just still can't believe they signed Kawhi to a max when hes probably going to be injured every year going forward. He's made that pretty clear especially after what happened this season.
Kawhi and PG played the Lakers during their FA, only to fail. Kawhi really thought he was the best in the world back then, when he won against an *injured* Golden State.
@@kooligan500remember the commercial he dropped when he went to the Clippers? Driving around with a crown hanging from his mirror insinuating hes the new king of LA? 😂
You say that like it's his fault they got hurt. And they got hurt playing Toronto. Toronto was at full strength, but people were hating on Kawhi, and now you with this ridiculous take. GS was good enough to get to Finals, they just had nothing for Toronto, even if they GS were healthy. It was inevitable. Stop crying.😭😭😭😭
As a Raptors fan, I absolutely don’t care given all the blatant unpunished tampering they did during 2018-19. BTW I love Kawhi and I’m happy for him that he’s in LA with his family
@adamdavis5383 If lebron opts out and takes the vet minimum, it can work. The only thing is he never took less other than that time in Miami. This would be even more of a haircut because he'll be opting out of a 51.4 million dollar contract.
@@xxkingxdijonxx8118 and he said he go where Bronny go I would risk Bronny for LeBron James who put up 26, 7, and 8 on 54% from the field and 38% from 3.
I don't think Philly should go after PG13. I honestly think Philly should go after Brandon Ingram. Ingram can score like PG and he's younger plus they can get him cheaper. Getting him cheaper is huge when you realize they can pick up 1-2 more solid role players to fit in wherever Philly sees fit. Ingram don't come with the defense PG has but when you factor in having a younger similar scorer plus extra money to sign a couple extras you realize it's a better deal.
Clippers are cursed. I don’t know if it’s the city or just amount of injuries after injuries the team has. Hopefully the new arena change that but they’re just moving a block away where the Lakers used to play.
Nah a healthy clippers team would’ve definitely beat the Mavs first round, the only reason they lost fr was because they for some reason wanted to bring back a still injured kawhi who had a month of no experience on the court, Luka wasn’t playing his best against them but Kyrie pulled thru with some Superman energy you can tell them realizing that kawhi can’t play again this season was messing with they head. Trust me a fully healthy kawhi would’ve been a world of a difference based on his playoff resume.
There is No Pressure on the Clippers, specifically the Clippers players. They get paid whether they get injured, whether they produce, or whether they win. There are No consequences. The organization is moving to their new arena and they need a competitive team so it doesn't really matter if they will actually win a championship just that they can be a Top6 seed. It's status quo with the Clippers. They may even let someone go & still be a Top6 seed.
Dude you're Wayyy TOO BIG of a channel to be using Old footage So Much. iUnderstand it gets the vids & content out Faster, but Still using footage from 2018? Then use the Same Highlight vid for every player when you make a video about them? come on Mike you're Supposed to be the 🐐 don't be Half Working man, you're Better than that!!!
How do you always get hurt when you load manage to prevent getting hurt lol. They have little to no cap space for anyone but their own players. No assets to trade and even if they could, they are a second apron team so it would be salary for salary. They need stars for the new stadium so they will be good in the regular season and crash in the playoffs
Lol if they would have kept SGA and Kawhi instead of trading for Paul they would be in a much better position, but thats what happens when owners listen to player's silly demands
Paul George won't be enough for the 76's because he's a piece of the puzzle and not THE PIECE. Until they can guarantee a healthy Embiid for an entire season they will make noise but not enough for a ring.
I would blame PG even if he left clippers coz Kawhi is never around when he is needed the most, he may be a great player when he's healthy but its seems like he is never gettin healthy to win a championship😒
You mention all the teams who could be a threat next year yet no mention of the Grizzlies who will be healthy, a lot of cap space, and plenty of draft picks to trade.
@@amandswright2040 well Memphis was the 2 seed the last 2 years. They gave Golden State a hard series when they won it all. They were missing Steven Adams and Brandin Clarke or they would have beat the Lakers last year. They will be back. If they can get 1 more star beside Ja, JJJ, Bane and Smart?!? They would be contenders. Especially after what happened to Denver
I agree, but the media has gone pretty quiet on the Grizzlies and Ja, like they're holding their breath waiting. Ja really has to stay healthy next year and fly right
If the clippers had a healthy kawhi leonard the Mavs arent in the finals go lock back when kawhi was healthy luka was at home. So run it back get new training staff
