@@corysimmons455not really, westbrook is so energetic because he have a lot of rest to just burst with energy from time to time. he doesn’t get gassed up and is more efficient this way. he also is showing alot of energy for defense because he is well rested
@@hdihiiehei Russell westbrook will be even better as a starting point guard James harden slows the offense down and doesn't push the pace or play defense not a winning formula in the playoffs
God I love watching Russell play, Mr. Triple Double himself. A Hall of Famer for sure, this shows that it wasn’t just him that was playing bad but the Lakers were just a bad team for him to blend with.
Both wrong, yaw didnt see..both 7trs dead on arrival, Carmelo not even a factor..tht nothing, thats 4players non existence..& coupled with AD & LBJ injured for 28gms! Thats alot of havoc to reverse & then the westbrxxx shizz spurred stupidity for the lbj haters (sick life losers)...where are they mow? People are so monkey see monkey do..braindead casuals trying to find inclusiveness..or clicks. So sad.
An underpaid future hall of famer who's coming off the bench. Most unlikely, i won't say why but if the clippers win their first chip I hope y'all give him the respect he deserves. Also Russ saved the clippers, not the other way around.
the clippers are already ballin before russ came. it’s just that when harden came and all 4 of them are playing as starters, it was a disaster since all of them are ball dominant. Russ sacrifice is what saved clippers from crumbling and now they are one of the best team in the league
They all helped each other. Two way street my friend. Real recognize real. Clips didn’t have to resign him. He wanted to stay and make it work with the Clippers. Some are though built different. Russ x Clippers = Boundless
Hell no, Clippers saved Russ, the only person who did save the clippers were Harden (they were looking for a good PG). And the fact PG and Kawhi aren’t injured (luckily).
@@dangdaniel781 russ saved the clippers both last year and this year. if russ didnt want to come off the bench or accept coming off the bench and demanded a trade then the clippers would be trash right now. if russ leaves tomorrow thier whole bench crumbles
I admire Russell and I look up to him. In spite of the challenges in his life, he just keeps on keeping on. Blessings your way, Mr. Russell Westbrook.😮🎉😊
Westbrook saved his own career. People in the know know what he’s about. It was the wrong fit in LA, plus Bron Bron made Brodie the scapegoat. Plain and simple. 💯
@@user-be7tc2bd6ebecause he was never a laser beam shooter yet the lakers forced him to the Damn corner to spot up it made no sense in stead of using him as a point guard he was balling when he got to be the PG off the bench and AD was benefiting when bron wasn’t on the court as well Russ got all the attention and AD got east buckets of the Pick and roll
Yea the only thing I can say is his shooting was bad but even in his prime he was unstoppable I feel like if he had a consistent shot on him he would had a ring already
I think being on the Clippers team, and being with all the veterans who are at the end of their prime, but not washed up just yet, they still have that drive and hunger, and hope that if they can put all their forces together, they can actually make it happen I love the fact that Russell is perfectly fine coming off the bench and I love the fact that Harden found his role with that team
One of the greatest players ever.. I just think he's better in a 2nd-3rd role instead of primary... This guy taking 15 shots... if he was in his prime ... could've been one of the best 2nd/3rd stars of all time.. I would've liked to see him in some different roles, but I actually don't blame him for being ringless if you look at his career.
😊 glad to see this for Westbrook Bron almost and tried to end his career...didn't happen. Looked dead playing for the Lakers last year. His renaissance is good to see he looks like he's enjoying basketball again! Go Brodie!!
I bet you were one of the guys calling him westbrxxx..him & lbj was the only bright spot on that team. Lbj makes team better how do you go to 10 finals w / 3diff teams & win 4rings are you braindead.
Russell Westbrook made right decision....not only that once came got back spiritual upbringing....that turn everything around, now everybody got this and that , still had game period ....
Idk about you all. But there are a few players that are freak of natures and dont lose much of their athleticism while getting older. 1: MJ 2: LBJ 3: Russ
Yo the pass to Kawhi at 5:09 was a thing of beauty. Threw it at the perfect spot and kawhi catches it with 1 hand, spots up and shoots. Great pass and shot!
I’m glad Russ is succeeding on the Clippers, unlike his time in LA, and I really should’ve known that the team wasn’t going to succeed, but I didn't because a lot of my favorite players were on the team, and I've seen how a team of literally five all-star to all-nba players succeeded so well (*cough* the 2017-19 Warriors), and it’s already bad enough that the fans in LA are so toxic a lot of times.
The Clippers saved RUSSELL WESTBROOK?! Russell Westbrook single-handedly kept the team relevant at the end of last year and in the playoffs while their injury-plagued star players were out and THEN accepted a team friendly contract to remain with the team. The Clippers were already set for success with Russ as Pg before the team made the decision to land James Harden, the SAME Harden who had caused a mountain of chaos in his attempt to exit the sixers. His arrival to the clips caused an immediate disruption of team chemistry which led to a downward spiral before Russ willingly embraced a 2nd team role. Who saved whom?
It has nothing to do with Harden, rather it was about his time with the Lakers and all the hate he was getting. It looked like he was no longer a reliable player in their system. Him moving to the Clippers was a better fit for him, showing he can still play
@KingDayDayDay00 Good points, but James Harden IS relevant because of the uncertainty of how he would integrate with the team and Russ helping to make the situation an easy transition by embracing an alternate role. how did you miss that?
Lol the clippers didn't save anything. He already has a 15 year career before he even put on a clippers uniform. Russell Westbrook would be balling out if he were on another team probably even more than he is now. He'd be starting and getting the minutes if he were on the bulls or something. Russ saved himself
Lakers dropped the ball with Westbrook. Clippers knew what to do, making him feel a part of the squad, and he realized what he needed to do to win. Respect.
I’m js he could average 17-8-8 in any system w shooters around him as a starter. He knew him or harden were gonna have to come off the bench and he knew he has before and harden has not. He took the sacrifice not only to stay in his hometown but for the team.
i wouldn't say it saved his career. the lakers tried to destroy it. We already saw how much confidence Russ lost with that laker crowd because of Lemedia. At most russ is just getting back to his standard.
He is no longer Russell Westbrick he is more comfortable playing for the Clippers happy to see him playing good he deserves a lot of credit for the sacrifice that he made for the Clippers
Never was..that was your own delusion & ignorance of the gm. The 2 7thrs nonexistent , Carmelo no contribution & rest was youngins..& AD & LBJ out 28gms. You missed all that as casuals do & jump on a bs bandwagon trying to find virtual friends....I guess yaw had no tangible friends.
The ultimate hustle player. he's exactly what you get when you max out athleticism at detriment of skill. as great as he's been on defense (one of the best G defenders in the league today, seriously underrated), he's still a liability. the blowout win in Boston is a perfect example. Look at his first 9 possessions (offense and defense) on the floor that game. i think he made 3 good plays (generates points) and 6 bad (poor shot selection / turnover that leads to points for other team). that's terrible execution for any ball dominant player. He's made some 3s in the last 2 games that is changing my mind about him taking them. feet set and open, he should shoot. but the other poor decision making (gambling on defense) and misses at the rim is just giving away possessions.
What type of title is this? Russ would had been fine especially if Jimmy Butler & Russ eould gotten together. U guys with this convenience anemsia (short attention span) what's wrong with society
