Join us on Expedition Universal Studios Florida as we head to Orlando to look at the different Ghost buster shows within the park. From the Spooktacular, Extreme Ghostbusters and Streetbusters. Now closed and replaced by Twister and once again since this show really was a staple of the Universal of old.

Omg I've missed so much great stuff over the years. Shame I've only recently been able to travel, I would of loved this. Ghostbusters is one of my favourite movies ever.... This looked so great

It was so cool to see one of my friends in this video! He's an original Ghostbuster, hehe. I was a Lead at Twister once. During a catwalk tour (terrifying, btw) we happened upon the Ghostbusters logo on a sign. It was cool to see something from the original show hanging around.

This was the reason I begged my parents to take me to universal. Luckily I did get to see it. I even got pictures and autographs from the GBs. I would do anything to go back in time and watch it again and walk around the gift shop. They really should bring back the Ghostbusters in some way. Horror nights? It would be a great idea for a haunted attraction.

I can't describe how much I love this. The tone of the ads is perfectly tongue-in-cheek and campy, the Beetlejuice crossover stage show was a stroke of brilliance (ghosts in that franchise had a habit of using possesssion to instigate choreographed song-and-dance numbers), and the ghosts and animatronics are just the right mix of over-the-top terrifying and campy. Also, that full-scale Stay-Puft head? That thing's gonna haunt my nightmares! I feel so bad that I missed this. Eleven-year-old me would have been obsessed.

I'm still kicking myself for not seeing the Ghostbusters Spooktacular when I first visited Universal Orlando in 1993. For some reason I didn't see it and by the time I was back at the park again, it was gone.

I was an enormous ghostbusters Fan. I actually got picked as one of the test kids. They made me hold a large amount of slime in my hands (no I’m not the kid shown on screen at 6:23 but I did what he did)

Thankfully, there was a GB haunted maze that I saw at Halloween Horror Nights, Universal Orlando. It was freaking awesome! And I do missed that old 90s attraction as a kid!!

I was fortunate to goto Universal Orlando when this was still going on. I even got to participate in the preshow queue having to hold a bunch of slime and not let it spill! My uncle tried to get a picture of me doing it, but it didn't turn out well due to the dark lighting. Such a fun show. Wish they'd bring it back, but I know that's as likely to get the rest of the classic attractions back...

I actually saw the first iteration of this show and absolutely loved it. When we went back to watch Twister, my dad was not as impressed, lol. He talked about how the Ghostbusters one was way better even though it was quite short.

They really need a REAL and PROFESSIONAL Ghostbusters attraction sometime in the future. Those weird shooter rides in Germany and Dubai look pretty lame, I would like to see Universal or another big company revisit it to make a good ride.

I would do a mix of a shooter and the spiderman the rise system, they get you in a small capsule like car, you go arround capturing ghosts, until gozer is unleashed, you see the og ghostbusters coming and know that the only thing they can do is let gozer have a physical body, but this time its an even more kaiju like stay puft, like a marshmellow godzilla that shoots fire, it finishes with the car broken, stay pjft closing at you, so the ghostbusters cross the streams, explossions, you get out of the ride

I saw it once, just after the park had opened. It really was amazing for a kid that watched the movie over and over again, and whose favorite show was The Real Ghostbusters. It's good that this show is preserved on RU-vid. You should check out the full shows.

Great expedition, as always! I'd like to see the late Universal Studios tram show "Battle of Galactica". I only got to visit Universal Studios once, back in '76 or '77 (I was 5, I do remember going on Jaws) and we moved away from SoCal before the Galactica ride opened. It was my favorite TV show back then (it's still a great show, I'm currently rewatching the series) and always wished I could've ridden through it.

This was the first thing I ever did the first time I went to Universal, which was July 1996. The next time I went, I kept looking for the entrance and didn't realize it was gone. Only got to see it once. :( I don't remember Louis Tully, but based on the timing he must have been there. This would have been awesome to go with Halloween Horror Nights, I would have worn my jumpsuit if it were still there. Too bad the 2016 monstrosity killed any chance of seeing something like this again. I just rode the Rip Ride Rockit for the first time this year and had no idea I was going through the firehouse!!

Long before the Disney acquisition and Islands of Adventure were built, I remember an outdoor Marvel show in the same area as the Ghostbusters. Do you have any info about it. All my research just talks about Islands.

Another example of dope animatronics that have been destroyed or negligence and it wouldn't be the first time they did it with jaws as well and this was the official movie props they ended up destroying But it's kind of a shame because I could see those props going to a Ghostbusters Enthusiast and being in a Warehouse somewhere Warehouse somewhere I even could have gone this far and say with the new Ghostbusters 3 coming out they could have easily use some of these props in these films with some updated CGI to give them a more scarier effect It sucks especially with a brand like Ghostbusters at these props weren't saved at least a few of them I mean if they ended up destroying a Slimer so be it but they were some original characters that they made that you didn't even see in the film that token perspiration from the original designers style of ghosts! It's just a shame these props weren't saved

I remember both iterations of this horrible attraction. By far, my least favorite of everything at Universal Orlando. I hated the corny preshow, awful effects and that thick glass which separated us from the stage was annoying. Plus, the Ghostbusters never danced in the movies! Good riddance to this tacky abomination.

On all of your videos the narrator is too soft spoken and needs his volume turned up in the editing, While I enjoy the videos I don't enjoy having to adjust my volume between the loud parts and the soft speaking narrator. Thank you maybe you will correct this and then your videos will be perfect.
