I remember this show as a kid as every Sunday my mum would kick me and my sister out of the room as she could do the ironing and watch the Clothes Show :D

I remember just watching the opening credits, as being a kid at the time, I had no interest in the program lol

My uncle used to work on this show and one day he was standing with one of the presenters and someone came up to ask her autograph and they asked for his too, assuming he was famous as well! Great times...

Thank you for this video. This tune has been a childhood memory for so many years but I had no idea where it was from, only thing I knew was it was some ‘fashion theme’ from TV back then. Watched a ‘rewind’ show on tv yesterday about 1986 and it said ‘The Clothes Show’ was a fashion show that debuted that year. I thought hmmm could this have theme I know? And it is! 🤩 all that wondering finally answered

Not a fashion fanatic, but my mum used to watch this, I always loved the theme tune and it was only a few years ago I found out it was PSB that did it. Just like the '86 on tune for TOTP was by Paul Hardcastle, but I knew that at the time as it was in the charts as well. I wish theme tunes for programs now were as interesting, they're either boring or annoying now!

Was listening to “Opportunities” by the Pet Shop Boys and thought it sounded like something from my childhood (like 10yrs). This is it. And I just learned that it is actually by the PSB, but a different song.

No it wasn't, it was a Sunday it was on, usually around 5:15.
