Our current cloud seeding operations are in Nevada, California, and Colorado. We do not have any programs in Minnesota. You can find more information about out program on our website at www.dri.edu/cloud-seeding-program/
But why do this at all? Especially in North Dakota? We're not at all in the dessert? We All want real rain & real weather not made weather by man?? Please
@@MissMistyRee222 We do not have any cloud seeding operations in North Dakota. Our program operates in Nevada, California and Colorado where the increased precipitation is needed and can increase seasonal precipitation by about 10%. In the Reno, NV area alone, winter cloud-seeding efforts are estimated to add enough water to supply about 40,000 households for a year. This article on our website might help illustrate this: www.dri.edu/making-it-snow/
