Oh Daniel this was awesome, awesome!!! It was soooo much fun to see the amazing pieces you created. All were beautiful. It was beyond exciting to see my technique being used in a different way. Thank you very much for your kind and generous shoutouts. You’ve got a wonderful, calm, clear teaching style which is bound to bring you endless numbers of devoted fans. I wish you lots of luck with your channel (not that you need it). I already look forward to your next project. 😊💕
Thank you soooooooooo.oooooooooo much Myriam 🥰. That means the world to me 🥰. Thank you so much for your support. I'm really looking forward to things to come and also watching every single one of your tutorials, your voice and laughter is so infectious 🥰.xxx
These are AMAZING!!! I actually liked that second “fail” one, it looked like an alien landscape with cloud vapors flowing overhead. Maybe cause it was so darker, it seemed more “alien planet” like. I have this same mold, I will have to pull it out some weekend and try this technique. And great camera placement, I could see everything clearly. 🤓🤓☺️ I’m subscribing, your videos are very well done!😁
Hi, i have been watching your video’s now i am understanding the process better. Thanks so much for sharing your talent with us. i have one question though. I have nail art background i am thinking of design jewellery with stamping images . My main question is it is possible to pour thin layer of resin let it cure it take it out. Paint with acrylic gel polish and put it back in mold. Steps i am thinking in my head Step 1 pour some resin let it cure. Step 2 demold it. Step 3 drawn an image i like to create. Step 4 pour more resin let it cure and than create a background for my mini painting i create. Step 5 pour more. Step 6 cross my fingers and demold.
I had a severe reaction to that resin (hives, rash) and several others have as well so if you're at all sensitive be careful. A handy tool I found to miss the resin is one of those small handheld milk frothers. I've had next to 0 issues with bubbles no matter the resin! I'm going to try this today! They're AWESOME!
Great video! I also weigh my resin and never had any problems, best though to just put part A in the warm water, not when both parts have been mixed, warming part A helps to get rid of bubbles. Keep up the great work 🙂
I am going to try the warming up the resin prior to mixing trick. I have never done that but I've always worked without molds. Now that I'm trying these techniques in small molds, I'm having a lot of problems with micro bubbles. I can see beneath the bubbles it would have been beautiful but I need to learn how to get rid of these bubbles because my normal torch is not working. But I also think I'm scared to use it because I don't want to damage the mold. So I'm probably not doing it effectively.
Hi, I am really enjoying your vids! And many points for mentioning others, that is a great personality trait! Keep doing this, looks really fantastic! Thanks for sharing!
I adore Myriam, man am so very happy to see you tip your hat to her. She has taught me a great deal too. These pieces are gorgeous, and I can't wait to see what you come up with next!
These are simply gorgeous, TYSM for posting. I love these so much, you’ve inspired me to go and give them a try, congrats on your subscribers & viewers cxx
Many people use reptile heat pads, it speeds up the curing process. I use a different style which sadly isn't branded and is for muscle pain. I'm sure they would be some recommendations in some online forums :)
My white keeps sinking. How do I get it like yours? Did you say you mixed white with acholol? What would be the ratios? Maybe my white is too heavy? I absolutely love this design
Having a 3rd watch, Daniel. These turned out SO BEAUTIFULLY. I did try this and they muddied horribly, even though I used just 3 compatible colors. I wonder if I had enough white? Going to try this again. 😊👍 Still missing Myriam. I go and check her channel every couple of months. Still no Myriam. 😢 Has ANYONE heard from or about her?
I just want to say thank you for your tutorials. I have taken them for granted so I have picked up my phone to like all the videos I have watched. Thank you again.
I stopped getting notifications from your channel but my GF is also subbed so... We're going to be trying this tonight 👍💖 Hopefully she stumbles upon some subs so she can quit her job. I work hard so she can play 😁 ...I don't mind the adds. Just don't overload us. My First youtube channel was demonetized. Passing this to my GF right now. She'll love it 🤩
Have fun 😊. The ads are needed at the moment just to help me build the channel and keep me going, I won't overload them too much 😊. Thanks for watching 😊
I am here because I saw Steve's second alcohol inks challenge, so I am all signed up and ready to not get even MORE housework done! *Settles in to watch*
Awesome Technique, Amazing Results. They are really really good, you have captured the movement perfectly, better than other artists that I’ve seen copying the technique.
They are gorgeous. Unfortunately I couldn't see a lot of what you did because the words covered the action. Does anyone know how to turn the writing off please
I used mica powder and made 2 coasters, on the back of both of them the mica powders gathered on the center. I noticed yesterday they have busted open. What caused them to do that
Hi, Sue, I used white alcohol ink for mine, dyes may work though. Sorry to hear you are having problems, maybe try Myriams video too and see if that helps :)
i really don't know what you're talking about! those "mistakes" you made were GORGEOUS!!!! here in the US it is fall and Halloween is coming and everyone is starting to decorate their homes. i think a bowl with a few of those would look exquisite! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. to you they may be complete failures because they were not the look your were trying to obtain. However, that doesn't mean they were failures. I haven't even tried working with resin yet. i'm just watching videos because i think i might be interested in trying it. But i do work wih wood and i design things, do my best to draw it out, but they don't always work out the way I think they should for what i want them for. But if i just sit back and study on it a little i can see that it usually works perfectly for something else that i hadn't even thought of. my last project was a dollhouse for my granddaughter. it Definitely did NOT look how i imagined it should. i was in tears. But i thought this will make a perfect house for the birds in the winter. so i added some dowels for them to perch on added a front piece with a hole for them to enter and the base was large enough that i could put food for them there. It gets down to -40 f wind chill in the winter where i live. this was turned out to be a perfect solution. It wasnt the epic failure i thought it was. And neither are those first clouds you shoved us. i would decorate my house with them any day or make them into a pendant to wear with a brown dress or pantsuit they are stunning!
🥰🥰 thank you so much, I am too hard on myself at times, I get too focused on the ways I want my work to look, I have got a lot better since this video. Also, thanks so much for thinking of the cold birdies 🥰🥰🥰🥰
@@daniel..cooper just another of my mny hobbies is bird watching... i go through about 150 lbs of feed a month. i have a ton of bitds in my yard! i feed them all year round. some of the birds like blue jys that are supposed to migrate south for the winter don't because they are so well fed here. so are my squirrels lol
Honestly ... I would be screaming if I got these results they are incredible ! Dont worry about the Ads ... and those views are all yours ! 🤣🤣 You Tube / Google .. do not count more than one view from the same URL ... so even if I asked my family to watch 10 times I would only get one view 🤣🤣 These are just so superb ! My Alcohol inks just arrived so I really cannot wait to try this technique 😍 all out of resin now ... so I have to wait ! Great job ! Also .. where are ya from ? You sound like my area ! 🤣🙌🙌
translated with Google translator, first of all about your work, it looks great woooooow, unfortunately I can't understand everything because I don't speak English, I can't get through with all the white colors, what do you mix how much with what? White A B C D ? I don't understand it, and the subtitles on the video are also only in English, what is a sinker white? and where do you get that? maybe there is a possibility that I understand it too, leave my best regards
New viewer, over here Via Steve McDonald's channel. Just a thought, if you're concerned about scratches on your molds and using a pin to draw through the inks maybe turn the pin around and use the ball part in the resin it won't scratch the molds & you may even get better results. Who knows until you try.
So happy i found your channel. Tried making puffy hearts and they did not go well. Lost most of the colours. Now am more confident once I buy this C deeper from Lets Resin. Thanks for sharing this!
Hello, I tried many times but I still don’t have the same results. Mine don’t make those big clouds but more like little short spikes made with the white resin. I am using piñata blanco, 30 drops or 40 drops it’s the same for me 😭
Your cabs are beautiful. Too bad RU-vid thinks it's appropriate to put their little banner ads over the top of your tutorials so I can't see exactly what you're doing... so annoying!
WOW!!! Oh my goodness!!! My mouth dropped and I gasped when you demolded that first one. You took my breath away while showing the rest. I just cannot believe how incredible these look. I want them all. Considering this video is 2 years old, I'm sure they are all sold or given as amazing gifts. You really are so talented and I am so glad I found you. I only use UV Resin right now but you have given me the courage to try regular resin. I absolutely have to try this. Thank you so very much for all you share with us. I truly appreciate every video you create!!! 😲💖💛💙💚👏🏼☝🏼👍🏼🫶
I apologize for interrupting your comments, but I want you to know one of your experiments came to my rescue today. One of my pieces cured with a horribly placed bubble in its side. I was able to repair it by adding a drop of clear glue to a small amount of uv resin and placing some in the hole created by the bubble. By matching the color perfectly it is almost impossible to detect the repair. The increased viscosity allowed me to pick up the solution with a toothpick and fill the hole. Thank you Daniel! Keep experimenting. 👍🏻
This is a new way/inspiration to use these effect colors. If you drip straight white ink onto each color you are adding, did you ever try that and how did it turn out in comparison?
OK. So I am getting serious about my process. I ran across this and laughed because it is so different than what your doing now. But thats the idea I know. I just am having some difficulties and thought I needed to get some more basics.
Thos turned out GORGEOUS!!! I LOVE the last 2 hearts. I bought some uv resin and a few molds and things but haven't had time to do anything yet. I am sooooo excited to start but I have to get a few more things yet. Can't wait to see what you do next. I just subscribed.
