The Clown Who Cried - The Chase is On 

In Superman episode 42, Lois Lane and Clark Kent ask Rollo (Billy Wayne) to appear on the Daily Planet telethon. Former partner and ne'er-do-well, Crackers (played by Peter Brocco), schemes to take his place and steal the proceeds. If you pay close attention to the episode, you'll notice that even though it's supposed to be Crackers (Brocco) who steals the money, it actually is Billy Wayne under the greasepaint. I suppose that's because Wayne was needed to perform the stunts performed just before this clip begins and was therefore easier and faster to have him complete the scene.
Not much is known about Billy Wayne, but he can be seen in several other TV shows and movies of the time including "Death Valley Days," "Broken Arrow," and "Highway Patrol."
