The Mercedes CLS63 Is An Underrated AMG (4K HDR) 

I own this CLS - I always loved how menacing it looks.. its design still one of Merc's best designs ever....

This body is iconic.

I just bought a mint CLS500 last week and I can’t get over how achingly beautiful it is, inside and out. Nobody I’ve driven in it believes it’s an ‘06, Mercedes struck gold in its design and comfort, I just got out of a C32 AMG and I haven’t looked back once. The car snaps necks driving through my little country town, I myself can’t get over the looks every time I go to drive it or hop out. Pictures and videos for some reason do this car no justice, even as good as they look online

This is a fantastic car, and very well designed. I used to own a 2008 CLS63AMG facelift model with the black grille and it looks even more aggressive, yet subtle. I traded that in for a 2014 CLS63AMG again a facelift model, and still have it. It's also an incredible car, the performance and comfort is ridiculous and it surprisingly doesn't feel that big, but it definitely has road presence and the machine gun exhaust not sure does turn heads.

I always go wipe down my engine bay and detail my wheels after watching these mint machines displayed in your videos. Your recent purchase is a beauty!

Your car is just awesome. Please keep it and never sell if possible. It's so unique with the mileage and the options you have, I'm a bit jealous, honestly, even I own a C218 2017 CLS 63 S 4-Matic in Diamond White, with Ceramic Brakes, Bang and Olufsen, Carbon Interior and Outside, I'd still considering getting a C219 just because of your presentation and the beautiful cinematic film you did with your perfect example. Also, a few things to share about the car options/equipment: - There is the Standard Soundsystem, then Harman/Kardon, and the AMG High-End Surround-System found in not many cars. There was even an fourth option being the Bang and Olufsen BeoSound for the facelifted version (yes, the C219) but it was quickly discontinued within several days being in the configuration and apparently someone even bought it, and the part number exists for the speakers, covers etc. - You could order a Performance package from factory having 525 HP instead the original 514 HP, and 650nm instead the original 630nm. As standard you would get the darker-silver color for the body, the carbon exterior package as standard and some exclusive lightweight 18 inch rims. It was sold only to a few customers end of the production life for C219. - There are some hidden features in the NTG such as Curvetronic where it will display upcoming road curves on your navigation system such as in a video game. If not present in your NTG, you can unlock it with MB-Star Diagnostics (Vediamo/Monaco). - For a specific year and month for the C219, all units received Acoustic Glass by mistake. It was a mistake in production, and never intended for the car.

One of the best looking Mercedes models in my opinion. If I will ever get an AMG, this will be it!

I've had my 2007 CLS63 for 10 years now and the honeymoon phase still hasn't ended. It makes me smile every time I drive her. One thing I would absolutely love however, is that downshift throttle blip as seen on later m156 models. Is this possible to achieve aftermarket on my 7229 gearbox? Any advise would be great. Happy miles folks.

My doctor had one of those... He sold it when his kids were grown and got a Jaguar F-type R as a replacement. Still says it's the car he misses most.

It seems like the W204 C63 is the one with the most potential issues due to the lower price. GG on getting 2 decently kept AMGs.

I remember an episode with WILL CASTRO on unique whips when tony yayo pulled up in a green benz with this new body style at the time.

c219 cls63 is a great car but ever since i switched to the w212 e53 with the m156, I can't stop but notice how much room there is for improvement in the previous gen e/cls class

Absolutely the best looking Mercedes Sedan-Coupe ever. It was ahead of it's time when it came out in 2003. It lives up to its name and is a Coupe with that low roofline at the back. So basically comfortable for 2 passengers. The facelift was also nice but the rear end design on the original is just unmatched. Just like the R129, this is a timeless design.

Now you need an ML63 to complete the trifecta! :)

My first car was a W219 CLS350 with 80k km on the clock.. drove it till ~420k km before selling it 6 years later… my brother is still keeping his W219 CLS500.. I would love to have a CLS63 for sure as a weekend car.

Recession of 2009 was hard on AMG cars. I was able to get my 2009 C63 new with a $14k USD discount and I still have the car to this day with just 30k miles.

I have a S211 E55 on my driveway to own and enjoy and a W219 CLS 63 parked across the street to admire. Pretty great.

I have a 2006 CLS 63 in black with 63,000 miles from new,I've owned it for 8 years now and will prob never sell it,there's only around 70 of these cars on the road here in the UK I believe 😊

2010-2011 models received the amg edition one package which included the carbon fiber interior trim along with the gray headlight housings. not all 2010 models had this package which makes it ultra rare. I own a 2010 p30 edition one and it’s fantastic.

Thay silver spec with the five split star amg alloys is unreal!

I’ve had my CLS for 2 years, in the past year 3 of my windows have stopped working, front spring exploded 2 lower arms replaced and power steering pump failed 😂😂 still like it though

I always loved white CLS, looks so elegant 🤌 I have 2009 with a P01 package and 46k miles on it. I wonder how many P01 were made for US. I suspect that mine was a press car and used for articles, because the first 2 owners listed in carfax were Mercedes-Benz dealerships 🤔 There are articles with pictures on Autoweek, Edmunds and some other websites. They all used the same 2009 CLS Black on Black p01 version with carbon fiber trim that I also have. Anyways, those 63s are going to be collectible cars in 10-15 years feom now.
