The Cluck'n Baetis is a Cluck'n great Baetis pattern. I developed this pattern on the San Juan River and it has proven to be a staple in a tailwater scenery. As a Turkey hunter I wished to use more of the bird and developed this pattern and still tie it with feathers from what I harvest. Its name also stems from a techique of calling in turkey which is "Clucking and Purring" It can be tied from Size 18 - 24 depending on your home waters. It is a modern Semi-Realistic Baetis pattern that incorporates life-like gills and just enough flash to cath the attention of picky trout.
