Professor Botch is voiced by a veteran voice actor named Roger Jackson aka Ghostface (Scream), Mojo Jojo (Powerpuff Girls) and Maester Kinoc (Final Fantasy X)
0:48 Wow, I did not know that the voice of Alistair Loveless was voiced by Charles Martinet who also did the voice of Mario in the Super Mario Franchises Games. Well you learned something new everyday.
Why does this game have a drastically different art style compared to the other Cluefinder games? Was this one made first? Did they hire a different artist? Why is there a talking dog?
The first ClueFinders game was ClueFinders 3rd Grade, I'm pretty sure this was the second one. The credits for both games do list entirely different people as having done the art/animation from each other, so that could be it. As for Socrates (the dog), the game has a profile for him that states the ClueFinders met him on an island of talking animals and made him a member of their team since then. This is something you never actually get to see though, it's just mentioned in his profile.
@@johammetgamesarchive6704 to be fair Socrates doesn't talk necessarily we only hear his mind kinda like a narration but he never really talked or even had a conversions with the other cast
One thing I notice is that in earlier Cluefinder games is that each games had characters specifically animated for the episode, and many shots have characters animated in the same shot. If you look at the era of 5th and 6th games, there are many reused dialogue animations, and many of the animation specific for the episode don't have much keyframes. It may sounds lazy, but considering they are also more visually consistent and on model with their character designs, it helps to make them look better as a franchise, and also saves production time and cost. Just an hypothesis, tho
15:10 Professor Botch: I've got to stop this! 15:12 You will do no such thing! 15:14 Seize him! (One of his Minions grabs him) 15:16 Professor Botch: oh dear.
Does anyone know a good way to get these games on modern computers? I've tried emulators but I can't get them to run.... Either way loved these games as a kid.
