You're right, with 1500 btu these are about perfect if you get stuck in your car etc.,, and 1 cylinder propane will last for 14 hours, they say. $35 at Walmart. Thanks for the review!

Great review...I got one of these for free and love to use it to heat up soup for a long day in the stand during the rut or turkey hunting.

These little propne heaters are nice, but just keep in mind these things can be a death trap or seriously harm you. If not vented to the outside correctly. Anything that uses combustible fuel produces CO and quick. Not CO2. Whick is Carbon Dioxide. Dont mix these 2 gases up. They quickly put out CO which is carbon monoxide and anything over 10ppm can be dangerous to humans. I wouldnt use one without a CO detector. I was a firefighter and medic for 21 years and I seen propne heaters take out whole families not using these things right. If you read the warnings on them or the instructions. They are for outside use only. I use a generator far enough away to get the exhaust away and then hook up an electric heater. Which doesnt put out CO gases. Yall just becareful. These propne heater really scare me. Also keep in mind for every gallon of Propane you put out. Produces one pound of water in the air. Just look it up and do your due diligence. How do you store your tanks? Says you cant keep them in the Garage or house but where should i put them then? I want to put them in my garage attic " Separate from the house" think thats fine?
