@Cacti88 Those are the long versions of the drawer boxes. I can't recommend them enough. On top of them making it so much easier to actually get to your comics, I had a flood a few years ago and the comics that were in drawer boxes on the floor survived intact, between a combination of being bagged, of course, but also because of the added protection of the shell of the drawer box...that kept the water far enough away until I had a chance to get the books to higher ground.

Great Basement! I miss my old basement but not the staircase. Your comic book filing system works well. I just ordered my first Fantastic Four books today from E Bay. I just started collecting again after a fifty two year pause. 😅

@Burco1 Thanks! I appreciate the comments. Yeah, Stan used a regular ball point pen..he just pressed too hard! Actually, and unfortunately) I don't have any early Avengers! Just a bunch of 80's issues and recent stuff. I wish I did have some of those early Kirby issues - the covers are beautiful! I'll have some Spidey, Cap, DD, Conan and other stuff on here...no Golden Age to speak of at the moment..I've had a few issues over the years, but nothing very exciting! Too much money!

@yodawithsunglasses That's a good question...I personally wouldn't have him sign an old book, especially if it were in very nice shape (hey I was a kid when I had him sign the FF #11). Most collectors like their comics to be as clean of marks as possible, even if it's Stan Lee...then again, there are others that might like his sig on there. There's really no right or wrong.

dam those ball point pens, sharpie has revolutionized the autograph industry R those the long or short versions of the drawerboxes? i really wanna buy them but i think of all the comics i could buy with that money, and just can't pull the trigger.

The only one i have that you have for Fantastic Four is #36. The pages are yellow and there are some wrinkles, but the guy said it's in good condition. Unfortunately, good is only according to him forty bucks.

Can you say goldmine lol. Damn what kind of pen was Stan using? Ill definitely use a marker for signings after seeing this. Its kind of cool at the same time cuz he wrote that note.

This is one of the best Silver Age FF collections I have ever seen! Your early FF issues are in great shape! I love the FF # 25 and 27!! It looks like Stan Lee was using the wrong type of pen to sign books back in the 70's. He has it down now! I know you have an Avengers collection to show us as well! Do you collect Golden Age? Great video!!
