Did you hear there was supposed to be a third before collection. It was gonna be collector, collectors, and collection, but now I've heard that there's even whispers of a third one again. Idk wth they'd call 3. They kinda ruined the pattern
I watch horror movies with my cat. She loves them. She would curl up close to the screen and just stared, jumping at the scary points. When I put this on, she was NOT OKAY with the cat scene! She wouldn’t stop meowing. 🤣 Humans dying- she’s fine. Dogs dying- she’s fine. Cat dying- not cool. 😂
I'M WITH YOU, I TOO WATCH HORROR MOVIES WITH MR. CAT, HE IS NOT EVEN SCARED OF KING KONG OR THE KING OF MOSTERS GODZILLA BUT THE COLLECTOR HE IS AFRAID OF.
FUN FACT: This was originally a prequel to SAW! I've loved this film since I was a kid, it's SO GOOD! The cinematography is fantastic and the Collector is such a rad villain. They were filming a third film just a year or two ago but unfortunately it's been put on hold indefinitely.
I think this was the 1st time Cody had to console Sergio during a part AND one of the only times the both of you were traumatized from a horror watch. We're all traumatized by this movie, TBH. So much tension and gross out monents. I kept saying "give me a break" and "are you kidding me?", The Collector was wild, y'alldid a great review watch. I'm sure Sergio had to put in work editing this one.
with the roaches (also rats) when heat is involved they dig to get away from it. so by cutting him,the bugs were gonna dig their way into his flesh and probably eat him the inside
This movie was definitely slept on. I remember seeing it in the theaters when it first came out and I never watched the trailer or anything beforehand. It literally was a movie I watched to kill time and I was glad I did
you guys should watch the part 2. omg it’s so crazy just like the first one! this movie was one of the childhood movies i’ve unfortunately seen hahaha 😂
This came out my senior year of high school and I’ll never forget seeing it for the first time. That nail in the phone scene killed my nerves bad 😅 Great reaction!
to be fair about him waiting to put the gloves on.... he's been in the house plenty before. his prints are already there. so making sure there are no prints where the safe is and not elsewhere makes sense. another thing some people don't notice is there is more than one exterminator... which i think was supposed to be the original concept/reveal of the collective.
The sequel to this (The Collection) is wildly underrated! I think I like it more than this one, mostly because you get to see a bit of who the “collector” is and what he does with his free time. He’s actually a pretty interesting character
One of my favorite (if isn't my favorite) horror movies! The camera work, the colors, the story! One of my favorite aspects is the main character is clever and the killer doesn't know there is another guy with him in the house. My favorite scene is the way they both almost run into each other at the beginning with the view from the top.
In the deleted scenes he saw the girl was still in the house and the collector was going after her and he said fuck it and left her to die and escaped with the ruby
he didnt put gloves on before the safe because he didnt need to. he had been working there and it would make sense to find his fingerprints in the house.
3:40 funny you say that, the AHS theme was done by Charlie Clouser who was part of Nine Inch Nails and the collectors score was done by Jerome Dillon who is ALSO a former Nine Inch Nails Member
The actual track was a B side of a Combichrist album. Track name is "Shut up and bleed" - not surprisingly - that I was surprised to hear on first viewing
Oh my goodness, this was a fun reaction. I LOVE this movie. I really like Arkin because he's does a great job outsmarting the Collector and is apparently altruism personified, lol. I really really hope you guys watch the sequel, The Collection, because it's the better movie in my opinion. More exciting, a little crazier, and the soundtrack is great!
This is one of the more disturbing horror movies I've seen though it ranks behind some others that for me are worse. One took me years to forget the name but I still remember the scene of the kidnapped girl her arms and legs then rejointed back on hanging up as a puppet for the kidnapper to manipulate. She was still alive.
I remember the trailer giving zero hint what this was besides intruder in the house. My family and I were shocked when we saw this in theaters! I thought it was good and called the weird dude with the daughter being the killer. But man, I honestly haven't gotten up the nerve to watch part two! The roach jar scene still lives rent free in my head!
Holy shit. Ive never watched any saw movie or anything like that due to thinking it was to bloody for my liking... i did not expect this to be so saw like
There's an alternate ending on the DVD , when he gets out of the house the first time and sees the little girl in the upstairs window, he flips her off and leaves lol
This was so great! I love this movie! Y’all should consider reacting to Better Watch Out from 2016 if you’re looking for something Christmasy for December.
The guy that plays The Collector was the main villain’s henchman in Crocodile Dundee 2. He always had a cool vibe to him, never thought he’d be a slasher
I watched this on Prime the other night, and you know how on prime when you press pause it shows you the actors in the scene? I swear every scene that black cat was credited. “Tommy K. as “cat”. It was really nice to see him get so much credit in this film after what happened to him 😅
It was a German Shepard but its was a East- German Breed abd I love then more as the typical German Shepard because we had breed then to death 😣 this Breed are so damage. And the Easty are so natural Wolflike 🤩
Cody, if you never had to "break into your house" aka sneaking back in - you weren't that much of a menace. ;) Not Cody having to tell Sergio when it's safe to look. LOL
He's been all over that house working so his fingerprints showing up in an investigation would've been a no-issue! BUT his prints on the vault? Now that's the appropriate time to put on the gloves, don't you agree?
This is one of my favorites and one of the best movies I’ve seen in a while enjoy fellas just found you’re channel I’m going down the rabbit hole as we speak lol have a great week!
Gurrllll I had questions with this film, Didn’t the family go on holiday? How did the collector have time to set everything up? Where did he park his car? Was the dog his or the families? If the dog was the families who was feeding it while they were on holiday? Same with who was feeding the pet fish? And the sticky acid floor….. would it burn the books and paper and burn through the floor? Lol enjoyed the film tho hahaha
The movie insanity but I love it I got to at least watch it three times a year and they have a second movie too🤧🤧🤧🤧😭😭😭always love y’all content❤️❤️❤️🤟🏽and the scoreeeee and the musicccc🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🥹🥹🥹🥹😂omgggg
You guys should react to the cabin in the woods!! If you’ve seen it already I’ll be sad but also so happy❤ I love your channel I’ve been on a binge and I can’t get enough!
Hey guys love the channel I am so waiting for the day when you guys review the movies CREEP and CREEP 2 . I’m betting 100% that you guys would love those movies and I would love Watch you guys react.
I struggle to enjoy horror movies when the logistics don't remotely make sense; maybe if the killer is actually magic because otherwise there is no way in hell that he could set up these traps.
Lmfao I rented this when I was 16 when I was on a horror kick, and I psyched myself out and didn’t even watch it 😭😂 read the plot synopsis on wiki instead, I feel like I might have been better off just watching it because the whole plot is F’ed up to just imagine 🤣
I had to watch your reaction on this. I absolutely love this movie and the second one!!! Not to mention Arkin! He is so sexy.. and I know you two will love him. So buckle up Queens and enjoy this flick because it is one hell of a ride!
I have a cat and am a horror movie fan, but I literally skipped that part. I’m not very sensitive or queasy but I was like ‘hell no’ when it came to the damn cat.
Maybe also do the "Escape Room"-verse (as I like to call this set of not specifically related movies / series): Cube Zero, Cube, Cube 2: Hyper-Cube The Belko Experiment Escape Room, Escape Room: Tournament of Champions Cabin in the Woods [2011] All of which seem to basically have some kind of like faceless corporation / entity putting people into deadly situations with traps, etc., and pitting them against one another, all kind of seemingly in service of or preparation for some future event. Debating if Maze Runner / Scorch Trials / Death Cure should also be added? [Though they're more YA/fantasy/adventure/sci-fi than pure "horror".]
