Yes i really love to watch drummers who want to enjoy when they play even if they make mistake doesn't give a shit he just have fun on stage, not like robots.
Well, not sure if it's for the same reason, but I do it sometimes as well...just helps you be able to hear your kit and/or stage monitor. You get more of a "live" feeling...not to mention most drummers on Warped probably don't have setups where they can hear drum mixes in their in-ears.
Nicholas Ngadiran from what Steve told me on a similar question I asked him. He said it was to hear the stage monitor. Personally, I could never do that haha
Anthony Ghazel He has his own mixer to the left of his hi hat stand. He's using two inputs. I'm pretty sure one is for click and the other to hear the mix of the band. I do a very similar thing. And I have everything in my ears. Vocals, bass, guitars and my drums.
Nicholas Ngadiran I think he does it so its a mix of click track and stage music...it sucks everyone is depending on backing tracks so much and its nice to see someone not haha
They're a decent band but Garret really sounds like arse on every live recording. His singing parts never sound like they do on the recordings. He always sounds out of breath. You're singing away to it and he sings it completely different on every song. Its annoying.
